Chapter 167

The next second.

Lady Li kicked out, directly kicking Gao Feng off the bed.

"Madam, what are you doing?"

"It's fine if you talk about Changwen, but a good child like Yang'er is hard to find even with a lantern. If you want to have one, have it yourself. Besides, I don't want to be suspected by my husband again one day."

Gao Feng was astonished, "Then why is Madam dressed so alluringly tonight and bathing with scented soap?"

"Naturally, to tease you."

Gao Feng: "…"

What a vicious scheme!

He thought of Gao Yang and immediately gritted his teeth.

After this complaint, he wouldn't be able to get on the bed for at least ten days or half a month.

All of this is the fault of this unfilial son!

It's one thing to complain, but he didn't even send the supreme membership card of the Rouge Pavilion for him to use…

Where is this unfilial son sensible?

One day, he, Gao Feng, will definitely beat this unfilial son!

"…"

The next day.

Early in the morning, the servants of the Dingguo Duke Prefecture wandered throughout Changan, sending invitations to the noble ladies who were on good terms with Lady Li.

All of Changan knew that the Dingguo Duke Prefecture had produced a unicorn son; even if it was a black unicorn, it was still a unicorn.

Coupled with the power of the Dingguo Duke, they were very respectful and all rushed over.

A group of noble ladies arrived at the Dingguo Duke Prefecture, first chatting simply about family matters, drinking some iced water, and exchanging pleasantries.

What they discussed was nothing strange, nothing more than which shop in Changan had good rouge, what kind of bastard things their own unfilial sons had done, and which concubine their own men had found.

And since they were older, all kinds of dirty jokes came easily to their lips.

Lady Li had long since placed the soap in exquisite boxes, one by one, which instantly attracted a lot of attention.

"What is this? It looks quite good."

Finally, a noble lady asked.

Lady Li saw that it was about time, so she picked up a bar of scented soap and said, "This item is called scented soap. In terms of cleaning power, it is ten times that of palace soap, and it has the effects of whitening and brightening the skin, removing toxins from the body, and restoring skin elasticity!"

"And the most peculiar thing is that after bathing with it, there is a special fragrance on the body, which is not only pleasant but also makes men unable to stop."

"Everyone here is a famous lady of Changan; just give it a try."

For a time, the noble ladies couldn't help their curiosity and all reached out to try it.

After a while, they were all shocked.

"I feel my skin really has elasticity, and it has become much whiter."

"And this fragrance is not pungent; it's truly magical. How much does this cost?"

A group of noble ladies stared straight at Lady Li.

Lady Li said with a smile, "It's not expensive, just ten strings of cash."

"Ten strings of cash?"

A group of noble ladies were somewhat surprised.

Lady Li continued, "This item is made from eighty-one precious medicinal herbs, including ginseng and deer antler. It not only whitens the skin but even using this item to bathe a man's lower abdomen has the effect of strengthening yang and tonifying the kidneys."

"Although there are countless beauties in Changan, which one of you here wasn't a peerless beauty in your youth?"

"But time waits for no one. We are older, our looks are no longer young, and our skin is no longer firm. If we don't take good care of ourselves, let alone being favored, I'm afraid even our status will be hard to maintain."

Once these words fell.

The noble ladies felt deeply in agreement, and they subconsciously touched their somewhat sagging skin.

Not only can it strengthen yang, but it can also prolong life and whiten the skin, with ten times the effect of palace soap.

"According to this effect, a mere ten strings of cash is really not expensive."

A group of noble ladies nodded in unison, their eyes eager to try.

Lady Li saw this and threw out the trump card, "This item was even used by His Majesty, and he couldn't stop praising it."

"It is now a special supply for the Royal Family!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the noble ladies present were all shocked.

Since Wu Zhao was brought out, the medicinal effect went without saying.

Soon, everyone had a bar in their hands.

Ten strings of silver is a lot for ordinary commoners, but for them, it was really just a drop in the bucket.

After the group of noble ladies left with itching hearts, Gao Yang also came to Lady Li's side, watching the departing backs of the crowd.

"Yang'er, whitening is fine, after all, the cleaning ability is strong, but is this yang-strengthening claim too exaggerated?" Lady Li was full of hesitation.

Gao Yang stood with his hands behind his back, very confident, "Mother, you worry too much. Yang-strengthening medicine doesn't necessarily have to have yang-strengthening effects; sometimes it's all psychological."

"Furthermore, these noble ladies will definitely use scented soap to bathe tonight. This peculiar fragrance is also a significant stimulation for men."

"Many times, a high price is just a gimmick, and the rest is all psychological. If the price is too low, they will think there's a trap."

"But Mother, remember, strictly prevent the formula from leaking. It's best to say early on that two versions will be launched, and this one is the luxury version with rare medicinal herbs added. In this way, we can advance or retreat, and deal with it calmly."

Lady Li nodded, "Rest assured about this; what Mother uses are all the families of the core troops of the prefecture, in a separate courtyard."

"But when sales start tomorrow, how should we create momentum?"

A smile appeared on Gao Yang's face, "That's simple. Tomorrow, order the Gao family troops to disguise themselves and go to line up outside the shop early in the morning, lining up from the inside out, creating an illusion of popularity and short supply."

"Then spread rumors everywhere; with His Majesty backing us, make it as popular as possible!"

"Within a few days, the scented soap will be a hit in Changan!"

"Then order people to stage a play, raising the price of soap in the black market to twelve strings per bar. Merchants will see profit to be made and will hoard goods, further driving production and prices, and even shipping them to other places, helping us build fame in advance!"

Whitening plus yang-strengthening, plus life-prolonging; he couldn't even imagine how he could lose.

"Hiss!"

Lady Li was astonished, and finally couldn't help but sigh in admiration: "My son truly has a supreme talent for business."

"Mother will go and arrange it!" ===== CHAPTER 169 =====
