Chapter 170: Wu Long

Fengluan Palace.

Wu Zhao stared at the scented soap in front of her, full of disbelief.

"The cleaning power of this item is indeed stronger than the palace soap, and after using it, even the skin has become much whiter."

"Is this really made by Gao Yang?"

Shangguan Wan'er nodded, her beautiful face also carrying a sense of disbelief.

She also hadn't expected Gao Yang to have this ability.

But thinking of what Gao Yang had done, Shangguan Wan'er couldn't help but speak.

"Your Majesty, Assistant Minister Gao is using Your Majesty's royal signboard, not only claiming that this scented soap has the effect of whitening and brightening the skin and removing toxins from the body, but what's more excessive is that he is also promoting that this scented soap can strengthen yang and tonify the kidneys."

Wu Zhao: "…"

She endured the whitening and brightening and toxin removal, but this yang-strengthening and kidney-tonifying, she is not a man, so why would she need to strengthen yang and tonify kidneys?

Wu Zhao's face turned black, and she said coldly, "This Gao Yang, no wonder he gave me seventy percent of the profit!"

"With me as his spokesperson, let alone Changan, even the entire Da Qian will be a bestseller. In terms of business, I'm afraid no one in the entire Da Qian can surpass Gao Yang."

"But this yang-strengthening and kidney-tonifying is too much!"

Shangguan Wan'er nodded and continued, "Your Majesty is absolutely right. Now the scented soap is very popular, and all the noble families in Changan are scrambling for it. If this continues, I'm afraid it will damage Your Majesty's reputation."

Wu Zhao's face was cold, "How popular?"

Shangguan Wan'er replied, "Early this morning, there was a long line outside the Gao family shop, and one hundred bars of scented soap were instantly swept away!"

Wu Zhao frowned slightly, "With such good sales, I'm afraid the price is extremely cheap."

She wanted to trap the noble families of Da Qian, not the commoners, so this made Wu Zhao frown tightly.

"Your Majesty is wrong. Assistant Minister Gao's pricing is not cheap; a bar of scented soap sells for as much as ten strings of cash."

With these words, Wu Zhao instantly couldn't stay calm.

"Wait!"

"Ten strings of cash for a bar of scented soap, and one hundred bars of scented soap were swept away?"

Her phoenix eyes widened, and she was somewhat unsettled.

In this way, in less than a morning, this is thousands of taels of silver. After deducting costs, she should get at least a few hundred taels!

This is just creating momentum, and only in Changan. If the price of scented soap is really stabilized and promoted to the entire Da Qian!

How many taels of silver can she get in a day, in a month?

Even Wu Zhao couldn't stop her heartbeat from accelerating.

What's more, she wants to drive Zhao Gao's price to an astronomical level, which also requires an astronomical amount of silver behind it.

If Da Qian wants to complete the harvest of the Zhao Kingdom, the silver to be invested in the early stage is definitely not small.

This scented soap came just in time, just right to relieve the pressure on her inner treasury.

"Forget it!"

"Let it strengthen yang and tonify kidneys. Who says women can't strengthen yang and tonify kidneys? For the sake of this windfall, I'll endure it."

Wu Zhao took a deep breath and made a decision.

Shangguan Wan'er: "???"

"Where is the Assistant Minister? Is he still fussing with this scented soap?" Wu Zhao suddenly asked.

"Your Majesty, according to the guards, the Assistant Minister should be taking his maids and subordinates to watch the food competition." ===== CHAPTER 172 =====
