Chapter 307

"..."

Imperial Palace.

Inside the Imperial Study.

A group of Da Qian military generals gathered.

As soon as Lu Zhen saw Shangguan Wan'er, he immediately asked, "His Majesty summoned us urgently—what for?"

"His Majesty and Master Gao have gone to test the gunpowder first."

"I ask the old generals to follow me; this gunpowder is top-secret in our Da Qian!"

Once these words were spoken.

Lu Zhen, Qin Zhenguo, and the others all looked at each other.

Gunpowder?

What kind of thing is that!

Gao Tianlong, however, laughed heartily, feeling pleased, "You bunch of old codgers, today I'll let you open your eyes!"

"This gunpowder was also made by my grandson; it is a great divine weapon for killing the enemy!"

Lu Zhen and the others didn't know about gunpowder and grenades, but as Gao Yang's grandfather, Gao Tianlong knew a thing or two.

It was just that he hadn't seen its power either.

Lu Zhen was shocked and said with dissatisfaction, "Old Duke, your mouth is truly tight!"

Gao Tianlong ignored their dissatisfaction and said, "How can a weapon of the state be spread to outsiders?"

"You should all thank His Majesty for his trust; ordinary people wouldn't even get to see such a great weapon."
