Chapter 630: Reverse Everything From Now On (Please Refresh)
Sacrifice one world to ensure the safety of another.
Regardless of whether this method is morally justifiable in the grand scheme, Tony Stark on that side was inexplicably and eerily corrupted by the concept of "Iron Man" within the Chronos of the Heavens, allowing the First Heavens to reach the year 2012 where the Grand Grail resides—thus rendering this method obsolete.
On December 21, 2012, afternoon—the day the Maya prophesied as the end of the world.
The derivative timeline of Ex- Earth—the Earth where the God of Stories, Loki, originated.
The boundary between two parallel universes shattered; all looked up to the sky as a blue planet slowly drew near.
Gray-white timelines began to spread; all possibilities of Earth were funneled toward the history recorded in the Chronos of the Heavens, decay and distortion spreading like a virus.
Such as Tony Stark, fused into a hybrid of multiple elements including the White Can Iron Man.
Those deeply entrenched within the Chronos of the Heavens must perceive a world entirely different—as if their cognition had been altered—now fighting alongside the Avengers against the "enemy."
Numerous beings across various universes could observe this outcome.
Figures such as the Ancient One, the Dimensional Lords, and the Father Gods of various pantheons whispered softly, closed their eyes, or raised their cups as if mourning the apocalypse.
Even they could not alter the impending outcome.
After the First Heavens' long dormancy, all stories would be replaced by its newly fabricated history, gradually losing meaning.
Unlike those timelines altered or destroyed by reincarnators.
In this spacetime, they at least understood what was about to happen.
How to put it
Might as well switch to a parallel universe while there's still time.
Are all worlds the same?
Then never mind.
"Surrendering with a white flag?" Su Lin raised an eyebrow.
Previously, whether it was the subconscious resistance of Eternity or the God of Stories correcting things, the First Heavens' incursion via timeline invasion had far less impact than now.
The original universe numbers invaded by these altered timelines—the timeline node after the Final Battle.
When the First Heavens realized that Su Lin's Earth was hidden behind a past accessible only through quantum tunnels.
Centered on this universe, the entire multiverse suffered historical chaos.
In the Holy Grail Wars occurring at various timeline nodes, black-particle intruders appeared.
The First Heavens had a vast appetite, seeking to archive the history of the Holy Grail Wars into its own Chronos of the Heavens.
"I'm not scared—why are you scared?"
Inside Su Lin's mind, the Type-Moon universe's information overload alarm blared again, fearing these corrupted timelines would invade his world.
"We're fused together—do you think I'd harm you?!"
It's like your mind wants to charge forward and smash the opponent, but your body unexpectedly cowers because it fears being pinned down.
The description seems a bit odd?
But roughly, that's the gist.
Su Lin, struggling with his uncoordinated limbs, once again copied the method, using the Chronos of the Heavens' permissions to create the Chronicle of Light.
The two chronicles were like two history books.
Those destroyed or altered timelines were pages recording history—but the First Heavens' history book was far thicker, and thus far more devastating when thrown.
Su Lin's side, though thinner than the First Heavens' history book, had the advantage of being able to CTRL+C/V.
Under these circumstances, it could buy some time.
In the void beyond the universe.
The Seventh/Eighth World Concept Entity, Eternity, who had been sleeping, suddenly opened its eyes in agony, then three-quarters of its form transformed into the appearance of the First Heavens.
It raised a hand dyed pitch-black, grasping the gray-white Time Tree deep within the Abyss.
In an instant, those timelines surged like flowing water into its cosmic body.
Countless distorted beings, along with the remnants of countless universes refined and blended by the Abyss, also surged within this torrent.
These entities encountered no resistance, entering the Omnipotent Universe effortlessly.
As the Eighth Eternity underwent complete transformation into the First Heavens, at the entrance of the abstract concept known as the "Marvel Entry Administration."
Countless figures wearing monocles, holding dice, and hanging masks from their waists stepped forward in unison from two aligned rows.
They all stood at attention, then took one step forward, dismantling the remaining border walls.
Countless monstrous beings roared and rushed in, overwhelming and devouring each border wall worker.
Compressed into a single humanoid form.
A Loki without sclera, with blue skin, and covered in cracks.
He walked to the entrance of the Border Administration, before a Loki holding a comic book, bowing his head in submission, and revealed a pale smile: "You're smarter than I imagined."
"Thank you for the compliment." Loki adjusted his monocle on the right eye socket, grinning to reveal eight teeth: "I pledge my loyalty to the Great First President~!"
The cracked Loki smiled faintly.
"Interesting."
His entire body dissolved into black particles, entering Loki through his mouth, nose, and ears.
Loki collapsed onto the ground, writhing like a shrimp, convulsing violently on the sand.
"I've changed my mind—I won't let this universe be destroyed." Black-clothed Su Lin stepped forward from behind and nodded:
"After I reclaim the fragment carrying the complete concept of God, complete the path of mythic origins, and devour all above as the God of the Multiverse Abyss."
"Loki, I permit you to continue assisting me in managing the timelines within the first-rebooted universe."
"Immense gratitude!" Loki struggled to his feet and bowed deeply at ninety degrees:
"The car is ready, Mr. President."
As Loki finished speaking, a convertible appeared before the two.
The black-clad Su Lin glanced at Loki with slight surprise, then got into the car, while Loki took the driver's seat.
"I still have some fragments here—take me there."
Time and space are being stolen.
After they left, the Marvel Immigration Bureau resembling the U. S. -Mexico border desert gradually turned into a barren wasteland with no color, only endless Infinity Stones and stone statues scattered across the ground.
This is the bottom of the Graveyard of All Things.
"Would you like to read a comic?"
Loki, dressed as a driver, handed a copy of *Secret Holy Grail War 2012* to the back seat: "And there are burgers and cola, if you need them."
The black-clad Su Lin crossed his legs, a smirk forming on his lips; the first Sky Universe's physical phantom appeared in his hand, gripping what looked like a comic but was in fact the universe where the fragment resided.
"Well done."
Black mist, surging like ink, seemed endless; any life born in this universe, if touched, would be corrupted.
Those timelines—no longer should they be called timelines.
Su Lin could sense, through the connection in the unseen, that the embodiment of the First Sky's will—the guy who used his face without paying copyright fees—had entered this universe.
Pages of history inscribed in the Sky Annals re-materialized as real cosmic spacetime.
A world stitched from countless shattered mirrors fractured, and one after another, various superheroes and villains active in the Marvel Universe burst forth.
The undead and concepts of heroes within the black mist took physical form, even including replicated versions of reincarnators who had completed or failed their missions.
Now, Earth at the 2012 timeline node was completely surrounded.
Although many "players" were dispatched to hold them back, it could only delay things temporarily; other parallel Marvel universes could be corrupted and controlled at any moment.
The enemy numbers were endless.
"You should leave," Su Lin sent a message in the group: "Weigong Shilang is preparing to take the Great Holy Grail away."
Weigong Shilang: "What about Earth in this world?!"
As expected, it's probably beyond saving for now.
Su Lin, who had originally planned to pack up Earth, discovered the entire universe was irrevocably becoming part of the Sky Annals.
Under these circumstances, the previous evacuation plan was ruined.
For the mental and physical well-being of the players and group members, it's better to temporarily sever the connection.
But it's not all bad news—although this universe is beyond saving, perhaps the Four Heads are gone with it too; for the myriad realms, that's not entirely a loss?
"Can you use pollution to purify Stark with holy light?" Meng Qi arrived at this timeline node through the Cause of All Fruits, following Su Lin's connection.
"I don't know. If Loki has surrendered, I plan to detonate myself before leaving, while my rank still holds."
Su Lin wasn't certain, only able to make a rough guess:
"Perhaps when I went to pick up Peter Parker, Stark was simultaneously possessed by an invaded timeline—only it hadn't manifested yet?"
Replace him with any other superhero, and being forcibly possessed by a concept of this level—'Iron Man'—would mean total annihilation.
Tony Stark has a chat group, and according to the soul defense level provided by the group, maintaining his selfhood isn't an issue.
Otherwise, following the First Sky's method of controlling all lifeforms within the Annals as avatars, he could've already turned on his microphone and spoken.
"I'm sorry—even the 2012 timeline is falling," Su Lin said to Tony, his white hair glinting as he stared blankly.
"You can come back with us and change your household registration."
Retain your memories and consciousness, perform soul surgery, attach yourselves to satellites in space, land on the Moon with a five-star golden card face.
"Wait—"
The white-haired Tony hurried forward and asked: "You mean Peter Parker—the 2012 Peter Parker—also encountered those things?"
Su Lin nodded, answering briefly: "A composite of Spider-Man concepts tried to possess him, but as the anchor, he's still safe."
"Has anyone else encountered this?" asked the white-haired Tony.
"No."
Upon hearing the answer, the white-haired Tony's pupils widened gradually, lost in thought.
Su Lin turned his gaze to Stark: "You brought back many survivors from the Pocket Universe Federation—you can leave together."
"Sorry, but…" Stark's eyes held hope: "Is there truly no way?"
Su Lin shook his head.
"Let me stay," Stark rubbed his temples, dejectedly tossing out a pile of scrolls.
One after another, gates of dimensions opened, and the scent of the Abyss began to permeate the heavens and earth.
Countless legions of Abyssal Demons, according to their contract, assembled under the leadership of their Dukes, Counts, and even two Abyssal Demon Archdukes.
They glanced at Stark, then at the enemies.
"You've already paid the price."
Without further words, they fulfilled the contract and launched a charge—those demons, vast enough to conquer any world, surged forward.
The cosmic spacetime manifested by the altered timelines shattered like bubbles, visibly and rapidly.
The greatest force came from the two Abyssal Demon Archdukes—one martial, one arcane—light exploded across the sky, bringing a scene of utter annihilation.
But even so, the pace couldn't keep up with the incoming tide.
"Abyssal Demons don't truly die—they won't retreat until all enemies are destroyed," Stark suddenly realized, eyes widening as he asked abruptly:
"Can't you… can't you destroy these timelines?"
His mind exploded like fireworks; after a moment of hesitation, he pointed at the sky and the Earth about to collide.
"Can't you destroy these timelines and turn them into your own, like the First Sky did?!"
In a normal comic plot,
Su Lin thought he should play along, praise the man, then slap his own head in frustration and say, "Why didn't I think of that?"
Unfortunately,
Su Lin had long ago simulated numerous scenarios.
"If that would work, I would have already transformed into a Fallen God and launched an apocalypse."
He possesses the Light of the Celestial Vault and has refined most of it; he may have formal authority, but there is one fundamental problem.
In the long eons before our arrival in this universe, countless fragments of the Celestial Vault had already fused with entire universes.
Haven't you noticed that Eternity is nearly taking the shape of the First Celestial Vault?
Even now, Su Lin's Chronicle of Light can only be used when the Type-Moon universe is present, and only in relation to the Great Holy Grail War event.
Once separated, this chronicle of ages loses its vessel—let alone the act of erasing a timeline and turning it into a story within one's own historical book.
"It's just a little short." Su Lin formed a miniature universe at his fingertip and said:
"And it's already too late—the outcome of Earth in 2012 is nearly fixed by the Chronicle of the Celestial Vault."
Inside Stark Tower, Madoka and others had already used Cross-World Symbols to open portals, doing their best to coordinate evacuations.
Lu Mingfei and Huai Shi stood before Zhou Mingrui; not far away, Nya-ko held a crowbar and smiled sweetly—the atmosphere was growing increasingly dangerous.
Fang Zheng was still immersed in grinding gold servers, his eyes bloodshot.
Weigong Shilang stood before the Great Holy Grail in the Sanctum with Dada Liya, while Gu Yi was outside, suppressing rogue reincarnators and Heroic Spirits trying to exploit the chaos alone.
Yang Jian, Yang Bin, Yang Yan, and the Immortal Realm's Yang Erlang were distributing the Universal Knowledge Symbols, each infused with faint glimmers of Su Lin's refined fragments, capable of preventing interference.
But as Su Lin said, time was insufficient—there wasn't enough to give one to everyone.
Many natives had already begun to mutate; the outcome seemed inevitable.
Unless
Su Lin turned around and took half a step forward.
A blade of light shot upward, shattering the bonds of time—a billion billion beams, pure as white mist, illuminating all directions!
Following his intuition, Su Lin instinctively pinched a green card between his fingers.
"There were too many enemies along the way; returning from the Graveyard of All Things took some time." Teacher Yan Sen stood in the sky, longsword in hand, his robe snapping violently in the wind:
"This is what he entrusted me to deliver to you."
At the same time, another sheet of paper, inscribed with personal information, flew toward him.
"Ugh." Su Lin glanced at the information on it; behind him, the cosmic concept of the First Celestial Vault began to manifest.
His lips twitched; his voice stuck in his throat for a long while before he took a deep breath and spoke:
"But those timelines are nearly already under the control of the opposite side of the First Celestial Vault."
"It's already too late to use the method of destroying the universe to incorporate 2012 into the Chronicle of Light."
"What if it had always been with you?" White-haired Su Tuoni said blankly.
"What do you mean?" Su Lin looked at him.
"Parallel universes can be reached via time machines; the Infinity Stones lose effect once leaving their original universe, yet they remain universally usable. After you took the Infinity Stones, this world didn't collapse—Peter and I weren't affected."
White-haired Su Tuoni lifted his head and spoke slowly: "I am his past; he is my future."
"You must destroy this world."
He removed his full armor, projected a model, and under his mental manipulation, that absurdly exaggerated idea became a twisted yet interconnected Möbius loop—an infinite cycle on a single plane.
"You must"
White-haired Su Tuoni stared at the model, murmuring to himself: "Reverse the ending—create a new history."
