Chapter 208: A New Generation Mountain-Moving Chief

Yang Lu-si thought of her own guess and felt her blood freeze.

What sin had their family committed, to have two rare diseases appear at the same time!

Yang Lu-si said anxiously, "Mr. Zhang, your skills are far too similar to my grandfather's!"

"In that sudden exchange just now, I even saw my grandfather's shadow on you."

Zhang Lin raised an eyebrow and thought: Of course they're similar! This body technique of mine is a complete copy of your grandfather's!

In fact, Yang Lu-si is a descendant of the last Mountain-Moving Chief, Zhegu Shao.

Zhegu Shao carried a curse unique to his clan.

His clansmen became Mountain-Moving Daoists in order to enter the great ancient tombs and find a way to lift the curse from their people.

But unfortunately, as the most gifted of the Mountain-Moving lineage—

Zhegu Shao never had his wish fulfilled. He had plundered countless tombs in his life; as for money, he had already become immensely wealthy.

Yet he still could not break the shackles on his body.

With no other choice, he crossed the ocean, married Li Weisi's daughter, and from then on completely cast the matter of lifting the curse to the back of his mind.

Unexpectedly, the wife Zhegu Shao, the Mountain-Moving Chief, chose also had an extraordinary background.

Or rather, her body, like his, had certain problems!

Under the "union of two strong lines," the child they had was the combined result of both diseases.

As a third-generation descendant, Yang Lu-si could be called the "ultimate beneficiary" of the two mutated diseases.

If she could not find a way to cure herself, then the Mountain-Moving lineage would be completely severed.

Yet as the granddaughter of the Mountain-Moving Chief, Yang Lu-si had never plundered tombs; instead she became a medical doctor. It was rather a waste of the Mountain-Moving heritage she carried.

Presumably, in his lonely old age, Zhegu Shao must have taught her some Mountain-Moving secret techniques when she was very young.

And these things were etched into Yang Lu-si's very bones.

Although she had not used them for many years, when Zhang Lin attacked her with Mountain-Moving techniques, she was immediately able to respond.

With skills like these, she was more than enough to go tomb-raiding!

"Young Lady Yang, the problem on your body is the combined result of two diseases."

"And your grandfather's body actually carried a curse."

"It was something passed down through his clan for generations and never resolved."

"When the curse on his body combined with the hereditary disease of the Li Weisi family, it produced your current condition."

"Actually, as it happens, whether it's the curse on your grandfather's body or the hereditary disease of the Li Weisi family, they are all connected!"

"This connection can be traced back to a very distant primeval era."

"My suggestion to you is to put down the virology work in your hands."

"Take up what your grandfather taught you, and go search for the Muchen Zhu that he spent his whole life never finding!"

Muchen Zhu?!
