Chapter 148: It's Going Live

~2 min read 383 words

I just asked about it yesterday and it's being published today; thank you all for your constant support.

I will write this book honestly and see it through to the end, but there have been too many things happening lately, and I really haven't been able to keep up with everything.

First, the lawsuit at home is finally over; from the other party being unwilling to compensate to them finally paying up after seeing the disability assessment, the process was agonizing—a year and a half—but it is finally finished.

My unlucky boyfriend finally contacted me these past few days; he has severe depression, severe anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I knew at the time that his father's accident would definitely cause psychological trauma to such an unlucky guy, but I didn't expect it to be this serious.

I also learned from his family that he spent the entire Spring Festival in the hospital, and his father never even left the hospital.

The treatment he is undergoing now is on the level of the "Thunder Dharma King," which is extremely painful. The reason he acted that way before was that he was afraid I would share this pain with him. He still has suicidal tendencies even now, and I truly do not advise him to work, but he won't listen. Depression is truly harmful; I looked it up, and the pandemic has caused over 70 million new cases of depression. It really is just too...

Fortunately, he can't help but contact me. I knew all along he would be like this, and now my friends finally don't have to say that I was just being deceived. I also know he is still alive and hasn't died. I just said, how could such an unlucky and clingy guy suddenly have such a drastic change in personality... as if I didn't know him at all.

I will strive to update properly from here on out. Because the publication is so late, I estimate the performance won't be very good, but I will still stick to my principles: write well until the end.

This book can be considered a witness to the lowest point in my life, and I will treat it as a precious memory.

Thank you all for listening to me vent.
