This book's results never qualified for a Three Rivers recommendation in the first place — only thanks to the big shots willing to pitch in. This little nobody kowtows one to you all right here.

Thanks to my editor, Teacher Good Luck, for giving me the chance to sign. Probably only an editor as patient as Good Luck could put up with a writer like me who obsesses over the stats every day with a glass heart… (laughs)

This little nobody still has a clear read on his own results. Compared to the other good books that landed the same recommendation, mine simply waited out the slot with raw word count, so I won't be the type to blow up the moment the numbers dip.

Writing a book takes patience — you eat exactly as much rice as your real skill can earn.
