In the past, reaching four-fold inscription engraving was already considered a master; now, four-fold inscription engraving doesn't even count for anything, and in the future it may not even qualify as entry-level.

The new comprehensive inscription manual has only just been promoted, yet already a powerhouse capable of eight-fold inscription engraving has appeared. Give it another half a year, and it's not impossible that true powerhouses of ten- or even dozens-of-folds will emerge.

The difference between a complete inscription manual and an incomplete one lies precisely here. Within a complete inscription manual, as long as the inscriptions are related, the difficulty of engraving them is greatly reduced; whereas inscriptions drawn from different manuals become vastly harder to engrave.

The reason four-fold inscription engraving was so difficult in the past is precisely because they all came from different inscription manuals—nobody knew whether they were related to one another, and even if there was a connection, the forgers couldn't perceive it.
