The Pingyi Society of Magic is composed of one Speaker and nine Councilors. This one Speaker and nine Councilors can be said to symbolize the pinnacle of power on the continent, wielding the authority of a world police force.

And at this very moment, the Speaker and Councilors—who appeared to the outside world as incomparably esteemed—all ten members had gathered together.

The full-scale outbreak of war between the Specter Dominator and Fairy Tail, the death of one of the Ten Holy Wizards, Joseph Bora, and the organizations that had surfaced—the Monu Sect, the Bai Huzi Pirate Crew.

Undoubtedly, each one of these matters, taken on its own, was no small thing, let alone the fact that all of them had been crammed together and occurred within an extremely short span of time.

"You should have read through the intelligence reports by now."

"After confirmation by Lahar, captain of the Fourth Enforcement Monitoring Unit, all the information is verified."

The Speaker, Crawford, looked at the somewhat silent Councilors and said expressionlessly: "The sixth of the Ten Holy Wizards, Joseph Bora, has been confirmed dead. The perpetrator is an unknown organization, the Bai Huzi Pirate Crew, captain of the Second Division."

"Portgas D. Ace."

"I wonder how each of you intends to handle this Mr. Ace?"

Each seat looked upon matters with a different gaze.

For instance, over at Fairy Tail, Ace was Fairy Tail's savior, and everyone within Fairy Tail held Ace in very high regard.
