Chapter 462
A flash of anger crossed Timaria's face; the once-majestic War Princess now looked like a drowned rat.
Although the ship hadn't capsized, every one of them had been drenched to the bone.
"I don't know either. I'm certain the spot I locked onto wasn't the central sea region."
"It must have been blocked off by the enemy."
A look of unwillingness crossed Val's face; he had never imagined that the shells he took such pride in would be countered and sent back at him so quickly.
And to make him look so utterly wretched—anger instantly flared across his face.
Without a moment's hesitation, two jet thrusters emerged directly behind him.
"Bang!"
A tremendous blast of air shot from the thruster nozzles, and Val's figure instantly pierced through the sky.
He streaked swiftly toward the coastline.
"Let's move too—we can't let that bastard Val steal the credit!"
A flicker of displeasure passed through Timaria's eyes, but since she herself had no ability to fly, she could only let it go.
She immediately gathered the soldiers on the main ship and shouted at the top of her lungs.
"Timaria, my lord... the soldiers drifting on the sea—we're not rescuing them?"
A soldier clad in armor asked Timaria hesitantly.
"I told you to set off at once—did you not hear me?"
A crimson glint flashed in War Princess Timaria's eyes, and her fingers cracked one after another.
