Chapter 945

The massive sea demon, after its tentacles had struck repeatedly to no avail, let out a shrill, piercing shriek. Uchiha Itachi instinctively shielded Sanai's head, and a warm liquid trickled down his ear canal—blood, most likely?

Uchiha Itachi did not flee. He charged fearlessly at the sea demon, the "Susano'o" around him nearly complete, especially the divine blade Totsuka Sword in his right hand!

Elsewhere in the clan compound.

Just as Uchiha Itachi was entangled with Hu Zi here in order to save his sister, Uchiha Fugaku and Wave Water Minato on this side had also run into trouble (damn Zhao)—the clansmen in the courtyard had nearly all been slaughtered, and most of the black shadows had already begun shifting toward other places.

Uchiha Fugaku wanted to intercept them, but was suddenly surrounded by several black shadows that had appeared out of nowhere. He turned and instinctively pinned his hopes on Wave Water Minato, who bore the title of "Golden Flash," only to find that her situation was not looking good either. Bang.

Having unleashed the power of the Nine-Tails and even formed a Tailed Beast Cloak, Minato—now on par with a Tailed Beast—was locked in an evenly matched fight with the masked man. Both were masters of space-time ninjutsu; to onlookers, only a few brief moments of standoff were visible, and every clash between them seemed to take place in another dimension.
