Or alternatively, collect faith and use the power of a God Group to observe a new world.

In short, one must cause a sufficiently large impact in that world for Little Garden to be able to observe it.

Of course, one could also choose to suppress the entire world through force; while this might succeed in observation, then what?

Doing so would result in being directly bestowed the Spirit Status of a Demon King, and the moment one descended into Little Garden, one would be captured by the Heavenly Army to fill their performance quotas.

Moreover, the Merit obtained in that manner is quite meager, and it is not even impossible for the observation to fail entirely.

After all, your actions must be converged into the World Lines of other parallel worlds, and the more abnormal the abilities you display—the less they are accepted by the people and by Human History—the greater the cost of convergence, and the less Merit you obtain.

If the energy consumed to converge the World Line exceeds the energy gained from observing a world, then the observation is considered a failure.

Just like Su Nian's world-saving mission this time: the result of the convergence was that Su Nian, along with Busujima Saeko and Marikawa Shizuka, went on an adventure, bravely stormed the research base of the Umbrella Corporation, obtained the virus data from within, and handed it over to the Tianchao government, which then developed the virus antidote and saved the world.

It was not Su Nian relying on his own overwhelming martial power to forcibly kill the virus progenitor and save the world.

Although the two may seem similar, the results produced by convergence are worlds apart.

After all, the former can be described as three heroes saving the world; while a bit absurd, it is reasonable and easily accepted by the people and by Human History.

Whereas the latter is simply not acknowledged by the people and not accepted by Human History.

The difficulty of convergence is naturally different.
