"If the Fighting Victorious Buddha leaves Mount Sumeru, who can master Lingshan?"

For the current plan, only by obtaining the recognition of the True-Settled Tathagata on the Ayue Plateau and obtaining that Buddha-nature that everyone can become a Buddha, can Lin Xian be considered to be holding the post with certification.

It was just that some lands had rich power of faith, like the Alan Ancient Temple, while some places had thin faith and were sparsely populated.

If every inch of land had rich, immortal faith, then the Western Desert could be called the true Western Pure Land; even ordinary people could live for eight hundred years and be free of all illnesses.

One step at a time, finally, at a place more than a hundred thousand miles away from Mount Sumeru, Lin Xian stopped his steps.

The Ayue Plateau, whose altitude was breathtaking, was higher than the mountains in other places, covered by snow for most of the year, bitter and cold.

The Ancient Buddha pinched a flower and smiled. In an instant, the world changed color, the snow melted, spring returned, and the great sun hung high in the sky. The plateau was full of vitality, grass buds broke through the soil, flowers bloomed, and the breath of life permeated.

Countless flowers and green grass paved a lush path, welcoming Maitreya from down the mountain.

"The Buddhist waters are a bit deep..."

"Did this foresee my arrival?"

Lin Xian took a deep breath, stepped on the path, followed the trajectory, and arrived at the snow mountain cave dwelling. There was nothing else in the cave, only an Ancient Buddha sitting cross-legged.

"Little friend, this old monk has been waiting for you for a long time."

The True-Settled Tathagata was thin as a stick, his body withered, yet he still carried a smile, pointing to the cave dwelling, "Maitreya, do you know what place this is?"

"I do not know, I ask the Ancient Buddha to enlighten me." Lin Xian's heart skipped a beat, and then he cautiously probed.

"This is the Vulture Cave of the Great Snow Mountain. Two thousand years ago, after Shakyamuni walked down Mount Sumeru, it was here that he bathed in the fire of karma, forged his sixteen-foot golden body, stepped into the Quasi-Emperor realm, truly became a Buddha and an ancestor, and got rid of the path of the Great Emperor Amitabha."

The True-Settled Ancient Buddha spoke of earth-shattering matters, yet his face was incomparably calm. He pressed his palms together and said, "The present Buddha attaining the Dao is truly something to be happy and congratulated about."

"Shakyamuni was only a Quasi-Emperor; does that count as attaining the Dao?" Lin Xian narrowed his eyes and probed, "Aren't all those who attained the Dao in the past Emperors?"

"Past, future, and present are all Buddhas, so naturally they attain the Dao." The True-Settled Ancient Buddha said calmly, "Future Maitreya, today you also attain the Dao here."

"Is the Ancient Buddha trying to convert me to Mount Sumeru?" Lin Xian was smiling on the surface, but his Primordial Spirit had already connected to the Dragon-Pattern Black Gold Tripod; if the situation was slightly wrong, he would run away and call for help.

"A Buddha is self-awakened; how can one convert?" The True-Settled Ancient Buddha said indifferently, then took out a true scripture from nowhere, his face solemn, "I wish to pass on to you a volume of the 'Great Buddha-Crown Tathagata Secret Cause Cultivation Realization Meaningful Bodhisattva Myriad Practices Shurangama Sutra'."

"The Shurangama Sutra?" Lin Xian's face did not change, "May I ask the Ancient Buddha, what is the mystery of this sutra?"

The True-Settled Ancient Buddha sighed, his eyes suddenly becoming deep, flowing with a pure and free breath. He pressed his palms together and said, "This sutra begins with breaking demons and ends with breaking demons."

"It is the Buddha teaching Ananda to break through demons and emerge, showing the causes and conditions of falling, so as not to be trapped by desire."

The True-Settled Tathagata acted as if he had not heard, and said to himself, "This sutra is all-encompassing, starting from teaching one to set the right intention, then step-by-step guidance to break confusion, see the truth, clarify the mind, and see nature; this step is the cultivation of a novice monk."

"Then, based on nature, one starts cultivation, sets up altars and boundaries, and reveals all ordinary and holy realms, such as the twenty-five holy perfections and the living beings of the seven paths of the three realms, so as not to be confused or go astray; this step is the cultivation of a monk."

"Furthermore, on the basis of the fifty-two stages of the Mahayana, eight stages are added, totaling sixty stages of cultivation and realization: three gradual stages, the stage of dry wisdom, ten faiths, ten dwellings, ten practices, ten dedications, four preparatory practices, ten grounds, equal enlightenment, and wonderful enlightenment, allowing the practitioner to know the direction on the Bodhi path, quickly enter the holy position of a Bodhisattva, and practice preparatory practices to easily obtain achievement."

"Finally, it extensively shows the demonic realms of the five aggregates and the methods to break them. Good, good, it is the supreme true scripture. By practicing this, one can reach the other shore, transcend, and be perfect."
