Chapter 57

Jiang Hao nodded again.

"Alright, follow me." Wu Suoda said nothing more.

Outsiders who come to challenge Korin Tower without hostility will not be harmed by Puro Village.

In fact, they are happy to guide them.

Guarding Korin Tower is their duty.

As guardians, their home enjoys favorable weather year-round, and wild beasts rarely enter the village.

Though this is an old and conservative village, no one has ever died from lack of food.

The gods protect them.

Later, under Wu Suoda's lead, Jiang Hao and Bulma arrived at the base of Korin Tower.

It is called a tower, but the tower itself is invisible; only a thin pillar piercing the clouds can be seen.

You cannot see where the top of this pillar ends, nor whether there is actually a tower on top.

"Do you really intend to climb it?" Bulma glanced at the pillar leading to Korin Tower and asked Jiang Hao.

Bulma had long known that Jiang Hao could fly.

Moreover, he flew quite fast.

"Yes, since this is my first time, I should show some sincerity. Next time, I can just fly up directly." Jiang Hao understood Bulma's words perfectly and replied with a smile.

Wu Suoda, standing nearby, was stunned.

What did he mean by "next time"? And what does "fly directly" mean? Could Jiang Hao actually fly?

"Fine then, I'll take the plane up first. I'll wait for you at the top."

Jiang Hao nodded.

He then said nothing more.

Pushing off with both feet, he launched himself straight upward.

Then, he began running rapidly up the pillar of Korin Tower.

Wu Suoda was left completely dumbfounded.

Before he could even recover, Jiang Hao had already shrunk into a tiny black dot in just a moment, and soon vanished entirely.

His speed was so great that one could doubt whether that figure was even human.

By the time Wu Suoda came to his senses, Bulma was gone too.

Accompanied by a roar.

He saw only a yellow figure shooting straight up from the ground into the clouds.

On Korin Tower, the Cat God, leaning on his cane and dozing off, seemed to sense something.

He suddenly raised his head, then walked over to a huge crystal ball.

Inside the crystal ball, a scene played out: a man running rapidly up the pillar of Korin Tower.

The Cat God's feline face wore a surprisingly human expression of shock.

He never expected that, after nearly a hundred years, someone had come to challenge Korin Tower again.

Moreover, this challenger was far from ordinary.

Even across such a considerable distance,

the Cat God could still sense the powerful Qi radiating from the person below.

That aura was no weaker than his own.

When did such a formidable person appear on Earth?
