The Earth ship hovered not far away.

Jiang Hao and the others were having a picnic on a flat patch of ground nearby.

Jaque was among them.

The picnic was very lively.

The food was handled by dedicated food robots; though they were robots, the food they made was absolutely delicious.

On the very first day Jaque boarded the Earth ship, he fell in love with the food these robots made.

Because no matter what kind of dish they put out, every single one was incredibly tasty.

A flavor he had never tasted anywhere else.

Compared to what he used to eat on Planet Tail, the robots' food was on another level entirely.

The food on Planet Tail was practically indistinguishable from feces.

But right now, facing the mouthwatering aroma of delicious food, Jaque had absolutely no appetite.

The moment he thought about the Frieza he might have to face next, his appetite vanished completely.

Not long ago, they had run into a small squad of Frieza's army.

That Frieza squad was fairly clever and didn't come straight at Jiang Hao and the others.

Instead, the moment they spotted Jiang Hao's group, they ran.

It went without saying that their location had now been completely exposed.

Even though Jiang Hao had originally told him to lead them to Frieza.

He had assumed Jiang Hao was joking, and that Jiang Hao would regret it soon enough.

But looking at it now, Jiang Hao didn't seem to be joking at all — they were completely serious.

Even after he told them the Frost Demons' combat power could reach hundreds of millions, Jiang Hao and the others were unmoved.

This left Jaque helpless.

Kind words can't sway a man bent on his own death — he would have loved to leave.

But the problem was Jiang Hao simply wouldn't let him go.

Without a ship, he couldn't survive in the vacuum of space.

And his ship had long since been hidden away by Jiang Hao.

No matter how hard he searched, he couldn't find it.

Jiang Hao said he'd return the ship once Frieza was dealt with.

"Hey, you're Jaque, right? I'm Krillin. Let's get acquainted." Just as Jaque was spacing out, imagining how he would die at Frieza's hands.

A voice suddenly sounded from beside him.

Jaque turned his head and saw a tall figure.

"Hello."

"You look really scared of Frieza." Krillin said, puzzled.

As an Earthling, Krillin couldn't comprehend just how terrifying Frieza was to Jaque.

But that was perfectly normal.

After all, Earth had been cut off from the universe for far too long.

He knew very little about Frieza himself.

The only thing he knew about Frieza was that Frieza had destroyed the Saiyans' planet, Planet Vegeta, and that nearly all the Saiyans had died at Frieza's hands.

Destroying a planet — sure, that kind of power was pretty shocking.

But it wasn't enough to scare Krillin.

After all, Krillin's current combat power was nothing to sneeze at either; if he wanted to destroy a planet, he could do it too.
