Chapter 589

The people on Xiao's side were directly a whole tier stronger.

Although Eric, due to a different fate, was much stronger than his counterpart in the original story,

on their side, only he had been enhanced.

If he did not deal with Xiao subsequently, the situation in the X-Men World would change drastically.

Of course, how it changed had nothing to do with Jiang Hao.

He simply did not care what changes occurred in the X-Men World.

But he did quite admire Old Wan.

Especially since the respect this fellow showed him at this moment was genuine.

He could see exactly what was going on inside Eric's mind.

If he told this fellow to die right now, he would commit suicide without hesitation.

This was something Jiang Hao had not expected.

Back then, saving Old Wan's mother had been nothing more than a trivial matter to him.

It was like suddenly noticing an ant underfoot while walking; out of mere interest, he had not stepped on it.

At the same time, he had even left some food for it.

Jiang Hao had not expected Old Wan to submit to him completely.

Nor did he need to recruit Old Wan to be a lackey.

However, the fact that the other party had actively come to serve as his lackey

did satisfy Jiang Hao's vanity somewhat.

After all, Old Wan was a villain who ranked among the notable ones in Marvel.

Among villains, he was equally considered charismatic and capable.

His strength was very powerful.

Omega-level mutants were terrifying.

Jean Grey, Pyro, Iceman, and Cyclops, these mutants were naturally also Omega-level.

. 0

But the combat power they displayed was truly not worth looking at.

Their control over their own abilities completely failed to reach the standard of an Omega-level mutant.

In contrast, Old Wan was the first to achieve complete control over his abilities.

As for Professor X, he still relied somewhat on external forces.

He borrowed the Cerebro device.

And there was also Doctor Beast helping him on the side.

Compared to Old Wan, Charles was far inferior.

Seeing Jiang Hao shake his head, Eric was somewhat stunned.

For a moment, he did not understand what Jiang Hao meant.

"No rush. Your current strength may not be enough to kill Xiao; you need to become stronger."

Eric was stunned.

He was already this strong, yet he still could not kill a single Xiao.

But he knew Jiang Hao would definitely not lie to him.

Since Jiang Hao had said so, he definitely could not kill Xiao.

"Mr., how can I become stronger?"

"No rush. I will help you later."

After speaking, Jiang Hao looked at Charles.

And although Jiang Hao's gaze was extremely calm, Charles, being watched by Jiang Hao, still felt immense pressure.

He thought of the pain in his brain just now.

He obediently walked up to Jiang Hao.

Raven, meanwhile, wore a look of worry while looking at Jiang Hao with some fear.

The current Raven was still just a young girl in her early twenties.

Protected very well by Charles over these years, she was still very innocent.

She was not yet the Raven who later followed Old Wan, was trained by Old Wan, and earned the title of Mystique.

"Mr., I am sorry, just now I..."

"This time, I only gave you a lesson."

"If I wanted to kill you, you would already be dead."

"However, since you offended me just now, you cannot go without any punishment."

Charles's spirit immediately tightened.

But the just now experience had already made him understand that his strength and Jiang Hao's were completely on different levels.

He had also seen Old Wan's memories.

He knew that Jiang Hao had used some method to resurrect Old Wan's mother.

At the same time, he had also made that mutant named Xiao unable to move.

Although he did not know Xiao's strength.

He already knew that Xiao was the leader of a group of mutants.

To become a leader, one's strength must naturally be the strongest.

Therefore, at this moment, Charles dared not resist.

He didn't even dare to entertain the thought of having Lao Wan ambush Jiang Hao.

Because he felt that if he did so, he would truly die.
