Chapter 149: I love you
"Eh? Ibuprofen."
Su Mian was surprised to find that there was ibuprofen in it. She pointed with her finger, and Si She immediately tore one for her, and handed her a glass of water by the way.
"Your hands are very cold, do you want me to change into a snake body to warm you up?"
Su Mian looked at the crowded hut where there was no place to step, and could already imagine what these poor furniture would be destroyed into after Si She transformed.
She shook her head and swallowed the medicine.
"This toothbrush... are you not planning to leave today?"
Su Mian caught a glimpse of the toothbrush and two towels, which were obviously not brought for her.
Si She nodded, hooked the corners of his mouth, and seemed to have returned to that capable DM state, "I'll just sleep on the sofa."
Su Mian sneered, "Did I say you couldn't sleep on the bed?"
Si She's fingertips closed slightly, his eyes flowed, and soon covered it up again, tilting his head, "Also," he supported his face, "After all, we have slept together long ago."
Su Mian rolled her eyes speechlessly. People who didn't know would misunderstand when they heard this, but she couldn't help but blush at her earlobes. For no other reason, she thought of a dream last night.
"Have you really thought about it?"
Si She suddenly said something out of the blue. Su Mian's hand holding the cup tightened instantly. Her conversation with Meng Ziqi was heard.
Su Mian didn't answer, but Si She played with Su Mian's fingers, as if deciding something.
"Okay, then..."
"A Si."
Su Mian interrupted him, "I don't want you to help me."
Si She's fingers paused, he smiled, "I didn't say I wanted to help you, Mian Mian."
"I'm serious."
Su Mian knelt up from the bed and looked directly into Si She's eyes, "Don't I know what your character is like? A Si, I don't want you to be sent for maintenance again for any reason. If I'm not by your side then, I will be even more uncomfortable."
Si She lowered his eyes and didn't speak. Su Mian sighed.
"I know you are worried about me, but I believe in myself, and you must believe in me. Besides, this matter involves the player camp, and it is very inappropriate for you to get involved."
She held Si She's head with both hands and kissed his lips, "Didn't you say that you hope I get close to you, not to survive?"
She had hesitated, hesitated whether she could afford this sentence, and whether she could bear the weight behind this sentence.
But from the moment she glimpsed the instance loophole, she firmed her heart, and in an instant, the dust settled.
She didn't want to forget her parents, and she didn't want to forget Si She either.
This is the reason why she wants to act, a very selfish and very simple reason, which is enough to illuminate her hazy heart.
In her memory, there is no such person as Si She, or this snake that wraps around her life. She might live in the shadows for a lifetime, gasping for breath in the blank space.
Su Mian doesn't want to forget him.
Because, she likes him.
"It seems the curse has taken effect."
Si She stared into her eyes, his emotions complex. Su Mian wanted to say that sentence, but was caught off guard by Si She's kiss.
Si She got up and held the girl's face. Su Mian was forced to look up, her head swaying little by little with the wandering of the tongue. She didn't know if it was the effect of ibuprofen, but the pain dissipated a lot.
Si She knew what she wanted to say, so he swallowed that sentence into his mouth. He was a little afraid to listen, afraid it was a dream.
"I love you."
He said.
"Su Mian, I love you."
Su Mian nodded, "Hmm."
She hugged him, opened her mouth, but found Si She's spine tense, and finally said "Hmm" again, swallowing that sentence into her stomach.
The next day, a rainstorm arrived.
Bean-sized raindrops hit the residential building, shrouding the whole world in a gray mist. Against the backdrop of the rain curtain, it looked elusive, as if a giant beast was lurking.
A small box truck with peeling paint stopped in the usual position, and the cab door opened.
A figure wearing work clothes and a delivery person's hat jumped down, holding a courier box with the "Fresh Delivery" logo printed on it.
He just saw the address and was preparing to deliver the goods when a girl walked slowly in the rain curtain.
He looked up and soon recognized the person. It was the landlord here.
The girl was wearing a pair of yellow waterproof boots, which looked particularly bright in the gray world. The iconic side braid revealed a sense of coldness and brokenness. Under the transparent paper umbrella was a pair of eyes as still as deep water.
"The vegetables delivered yesterday were problematic," Su Mian said straight to the point, "I felt very uncomfortable after eating them. I want to complain."
The delivery person didn't make any expression, but was used to it after hearing this reason.
"For complaints, please go to the app page."
Su Mian didn't take it, but took a half step forward, "The APP feedback is too slow. I want an explanation now. Also, I will take today's vegetables up myself. I have to see if the newly delivered ones are still problematic."
The delivery person was silent for two seconds, seeming a bit confused by this requirement that exceeded the process.
Su Mian deliberately acted a bit impatient. She crossed her hands, looked at the non-existent watch on her wrist, and spoke rudely.
"Open the car door, I'll take it myself, otherwise I will not only complain, but also give a bad review. Do you know that the customer is God?"
The delivery person was frightened. He shrank his neck, no longer insisted, turned around and opened the car door.
Su Mian followed a few steps behind him, her heartbeat accelerating slightly, her peripheral vision glancing at the corner on the other side of the unit door.
The moment the car door opened, just as the car door made a soft "click."
The moment it was about to be pulled open a crack, a figure rushed out like a cheetah from behind the debris pile next to it.
Meng Ziqi acted neatly and decisively, tackling the delivery person to the ground, firmly holding his arms and neck.
Su Mian rushed forward in one step, from the back seat to the driver's position. However, the delivery person who was restrained by Meng Ziqi on the ground.
Seeing Su Mian reaching out to pull the car door, his eyes burst with red bloodshot eyes. He struggled violently, his strength surprisingly great. Meng Ziqi almost lost his grip.
Because of the violent wrestling and struggling, the delivery person's hat fell off, revealing what was not a human head at all.
The skin tore and opened in all directions like four petals, revealing the dense, layered, sharp mouthparts with mucus and barbs inside.
It was a terrifying giant mouth that occupied the entire "face" and could swallow 360 degrees. The disgusting and weird breath permeated instantly.
Even a battle-hardened player like Meng Ziqi frowned uncomfortably after seeing it. The flowering head turned sharply toward Meng Ziqi, who was close at hand, and it looked like it was about to swallow his entire upper body.
At the critical moment, Su Mian grabbed a bag of chili powder in the car, tore it open with her fingernails, and threw it with all her might to that side. Half of her body was exposed outside the car window.
"Hoo—!!!"
