Chapter 442: Li Heng Splits the Sea
"Multiverse Alliance? Elaborate."
Li Heng's eyes lit up instantly.
Could it really be as he had guessed, that this world was a projection of his home, or perhaps some sort of parallel universe, and that there truly existed so-called universe managers, the Multiverse Alliance?
"Wait, you don't know about the Multiverse Alliance?!"
This face asked in sudden astonishment.
"Why, is there a problem with that?"
Li Heng answered curiously.
"Of course there's a problem, you have a huge problem."
The face suddenly sneered.
"You don't need to fight me anymore; go explain yourself to the Alliance's Enforcers first!"
As soon as the words fell, a beam of light shot out from the face, submerging into the Unknown Darkness, seemingly wanting to communicate something? But the next moment, the face revealed a look of astonishment again.
"What is going on, I can't communicate with the Alliance?"
He spoke in shock.
"No, no, it's not just that I can't communicate with the Alliance, I can't even get out of this universe! No, it's not that I can't get out, but that there is nothing outside—how is this possible!"
The face muttered in existential doubt.
Seeing this, Li Heng raised an eyebrow and chuckled softly.
"Perhaps all the space-time outside has been destroyed, and only this universe remains safe and sound, still existing?"
He immediately realized this was the limitation of the Light Sea Calamity, which could only evolve one Observable Universe, and the space-time outside the Observable Universe naturally did not exist.
"How is that possible! I clearly came back from the outside!"
"Not to mention in the Alliance..."
The face denied it flatly, but the next moment, realizing Li Heng seemed to be fishing for information, he immediately swallowed the words he was about to say, then revealed a look of sudden realization.
"I get it, it must be you, this stowaway, who caused this!"
"Catching a turtle in a jar, right? But you're the turtle!"
He roared, his voice ignoring the vacuum of the universe, echoing through the vast cosmos, causing many galaxies to collapse and great stars to fall; rather than a manager, he was better described as a destroyer.
Stowaway?
Li Heng ignored the face's emotions and pondered the term. To the face or the so-called Multiverse Alliance, was he, someone who didn't know of the Multiverse Alliance's existence, a stowaway?
Since the word "stowaway" existed, did that mean there was some kind of obstacle to prevent stowaways? If so, where was that obstacle, and what kind of obstacle was it?
Was this related to those missing civilizations and factions?
Li Heng's thoughts whirled in his mind, but by now, the face had manifested into a heaven-reaching giant, carrying the momentum of shattering the Endless Galaxy, and swung a fist toward him.
"A simple and crude punch."
Li Heng quipped, using Source Power to evolve a Void barrier to protect himself, forcibly blocking this punch capable of shattering galaxies and absorbing its destructive power as the cost.
"I am not a combative person by nature, I prefer to resolve conflicts; why must you resort to killing? I ask, what exactly is your Multiverse Alliance? And do you know the word Calamity?"
"As long as you tell me, I can let you leave."
Li Heng smiled slightly; he knew this giant face was so agitated because it likely thought he, Li Heng, had trapped it.
"Stowaway, keep dreaming!"
The giant sneered and swung his fist again, with endless galaxies circling the fist, each equivalent to the scale of the Galaxy; his strength, in terms of the Immortal God system, was that of the Nine Tribulations Heaven and Earth, and he was very hostile toward Li Heng, or rather, toward the so-called stowaway.
"Is that all you can do besides this?"
Li Heng shook his head, blocking the punch again, feeling helpless.
At least use some techniques characteristic of the Physical Universe, like an Infinite Quantum Body, dimensional manipulation, or even just spouting some Law of Causality power; otherwise, it just feels full of dissonance.
The giant turned a deaf ear and continued throwing punches.
Li Heng sighed; it seemed communication was impossible.
And since the strength was too great, it was hard to control.
Then, he might as well slaughter it to exchange for Source Power.
He didn't know if it was due to the suppression of the Light Sea Calamity or the characteristics of the Physical Universe, but his own power hadn't returned, and he was relying entirely on Source Power; he couldn't drag this out for too long.
Immediately, he threw a punch, colliding with the giant.
It was overwhelming.
Even though this heaven-reaching giant was at the level of the Nine Tribulations Heaven and Earth, it had no qualifications to challenge this punch of Li Heng's, which was bolstered by Source Power; it was blown to pieces in an instant, along with this Observable Universe!
Outside the Light Sea.
Shaoyang Jun stared dumbfounded at the Light Sea before him, which was constantly erupting with mushroom clouds, becoming tattered, and where Li Heng's figure was vaguely visible, his aura greatly weakened.
Just a moment ago, he had been considering whether to use his trump card to save this fellow Daoist Li Heng. After all, being trapped in a Calamity, even if one wasn't at a disadvantage now, Calamities were always extremely persistent and easy to be worn down by.
But he hadn't expected that before he could make up his mind,
this Light Sea would explode directly.
Beside him, the little golden dragon smiled triumphantly, its little claws on its hips.
"Now you know how powerful the Venerable One is, right?"
Of course, that was what it said, but the little golden dragon was also marveling in its heart.
After all, this was too incredible; to face a Calamity head-on was rare even in the Immortal God Era, or rather, non-existent, as those qualified to face a Calamity head-on were all Sacred.
Li Heng returned to the Light Sea.
He looked at the surrounding Light Sea and could perceive that this light had become much thinner and weaker; it was clear that it had been heavily damaged by Li Heng's punch that had blown up the Observable Universe just now.
And after returning, his cultivation also returned along with it.
Feeling the power within his body, Li Heng smiled slightly. This Light Sea was truly a good place for him; that punch that blew up the Observable Universe had earned him another fifteen Golden Source Points.
The total number of Golden Source Points has now reached ninety-six!
Only four Golden Source Points away from the one-hundred mark!
Since that is the case...
Li Heng shifted his gaze back to the surrounding Light Sea.
Although this Light Sea is much weaker now, there is a saying: Source Power is like water in a sponge; as long as you are willing to squeeze, there is always some left.
This Light Sea should be able to scrape together the remaining four Source Points, right?
However, this Light Sea has no fixed form; Li Heng tried just now, and even using his full strength, he could not touch even half a fraction of the Light Sea in this state, just like the previous Black Fog Calamity.
Unless the Light Sea evolves into a World again to trap him.
But after waiting for a long time, the Light Sea still showed no movement; it seems the Light Sea suffered a great loss at Li Heng's hands and does not intend to target him anymore, even wanting to send him away.
Wherever Li Heng walks, the Light Sea parts the path ahead, forming a passage that runs through the inside and outside of the Light Sea, leading straight to the other side, just like Moses parting the sea in the Bible.
The little golden dragon and Shaoyang Jun were dumbfounded at this sight.
Is this Disaster so docile?
In truth, Li Heng was also a bit helpless on his end.
This Light Sea is actually avoiding him; although he appears to be inside the Light Sea now, the place where he is located is not covered by the light of the Light Sea at all—to use an analogy, it is a state within a state.
Since this Light Sea Calamity is so cowardly.
Then he can only use the old method he used to deal with the Black Fog Calamity.
