Chapter 509: Information Prototype

All things in the world have a prototype, and this is especially true for the puppets created by Shuiyue and Huoling.

Moreover, the prototypes they referenced were extremely extraordinary.

For instance, Li Heng saw a puppet in the shape of a young girl.

From a normal perspective, it looked perfectly normal and lifelike, but once infused with Source Power, one could see the puppet's surface shrouded in black, highly Ominous Qi; with a slight mental connection, one could even hear sounds of resentment.

The sounds of resentment reached Li Heng's ears, yet his expression remained unchanged.

Although it certainly looked Terror-inducing, unless the prototype behind the puppet also noticed him, there would be no danger.

This only indicated that the puppet was modeled after this terrifying prototype, possessed a certain Causal connection, and if certain conditions were met, it was possible for the puppet's prototype to descend.

Li Heng pondered in his heart, and driven by curiosity, he used Source Power to conceal his tracks, then traced back along this Causal connection, wanting to see what this prototype really was.

However, he soon gave up.

Because the distance of this prototype from here was unimaginable; he had already rushed out of the True Realm and reached the edge of the known Great Void, yet he still could not detect the specific coordinates of that prototype.

It seemed to be not just a spatial distance, but also a temporal distance!

Withdrawing his focus, he continued to concentrate his attention on those puppets that, when viewed through eyes infused with Source Power, radiated Ominousness, manifested as various demons and monsters, and had Causal Lines connecting them to their prototypes.

At this moment, Shuiyue and Huoling felt uneasy in their hearts. Could it be that the puppets they had crafted themselves really had some kind of problem? Why was Li Heng frowning so deeply?

Yet in their own perception, there was clearly no problem at all; after all, these were puppets they had sculpted with their own hands, and they knew every detail of them. They were even perfectly clear about the state and position of every single atom within the puppets.

Li Heng ignored a large swath of abnormal puppets.

Although the puppets he ignored could all manifest abnormalities, upon closer sensing, the level of threat was not high, and the prototypes behind them were likely not any demons, monsters, or Calamity-level entities.

They were not worth him spending his attention to investigate.

For example, he saw an elf puppet.

The prototype behind it was merely a dark god from a world within the Great Void. Although this dark god had already dominated that world and could bring Eternal Silence to all things and beings, it still could not enter Li Heng's Dharma Eye.

His true attention was still placed on the puppets that, like the young girl puppet from before, could command his importance and even faintly make him sense a threat to his life.

And there were as many as ten such puppets.

With a thought from Li Heng, he caused these puppets to shrink rapidly and hover above his palm, presenting them for the three women present to see.

"How did you two craft these ten puppets? What prototypes did you reference?" he asked Shuiyue and Huoling.

The Causality behind these ten puppets was extremely dangerous, and it was difficult for him to find the prototypes behind them; either the distance was too great, or the Causal Line would break halfway through the tracing.

Shuiyue and Huoling showed expressions of confusion; why ask this? Did it have any significance? However, facing Li Heng's inquiry, they could only answer honestly.

"These ten puppets were all crafted by the two of us with our own hands, but as for referencing prototypes? That, there was none. We were just suddenly struck by inspiration and crafted them out of thin air."

The two women explained.

They remembered very clearly that these ten puppets, without exception, were crafted during their leisure time when inspiration struck and various images appeared in their minds.

How could there be any talk of prototypes for such puppets?

If one insisted on a prototype, it would certainly be their own brains.

Of course, he personally did not agree with the claim that there were no prototypes and they were just crafted out of thin air. Just because one thinks there is no prototype does not mean there is no prototype.

For instance, when an author writes a novel, according to normal discourse, the author's world is True, and the novel's world is Illusion. But according to this information mapping theory, there has never been a distinction between True and Illusion for the two worlds; they are merely mapping information to each other.

And come to think of it, this thing called information is also magical.

Perhaps it really can traverse between Illusion and True Reality and interfere with higher dimensions.

Li Heng was very clear that back on Earth, some people had been scared to death simply from watching horror movies. This was also a manifestation of information circulating and interfering with each other.

"Could it be that there is a problem with this too?" Seeing Li Heng's perfunctory answer, the two women were even more confused and puzzled.

"Under normal circumstances, there is naturally no problem, but I encountered something not long ago, and coupled with the current harsh environment of the Great Void, there might be a problem."

In an instant, the two women, Fire Spirit and Shuiyue, felt a chill run down their spines.

They were not fools; after Li Heng spoke the word 'prototypes', they immediately thought of many things, realizing that if that were truly the case, it would indeed be a potential hidden danger!
