Chapter 300: The Transformation of the Kai Tian Universe

~6 min read 1,032 words

Lín Jìn and others were pulled by the suction of the Ruins Gate, and everyone immediately used their cultivation to resist; Lín Jìn inserted the Abyss Return Ruler into the ground with his hand, stabilizing his stance with its great power; Ao Li controlled the Sea of Life, forming a solid energy shield around the group; Ling Yue quickly activated the reverse thrusters of the Jinbone vessel, providing extra resistance; Lin Li employed data energy, attempting to disrupt the gate's suction.

Through their combined effort they finally repelled the suction. After it vanished they cautiously entered the ruins. Inside the light was dim, the walls were inlaid with crystals that emitted a faint glow, barely illuminating the path ahead. Both sides of the corridor were covered with strange symbols and ancient murals, depicting the birth of stars, the rise and fall of civilizations, and clashes of mysterious forces.

Lin Li examined these symbols and murals closely, trying to decipher the information. "These murals seem to recount the history of this dimension and its connections to other dimensions. Yet the symbols are so ancient that interpreting them is extremely difficult."

At that moment Ao Li suddenly felt a strong reaction from the fetus in her abdomen. The fetus seemed to resonate with some power within the ruins, emitting a soft light. That light reflected on the walls, making the previously vague symbols and murals clearer, and some hidden information gradually surfaced.

"It seems the fetus's power can help us decode this information," Ao Li said.

Guided by the fetus's light, the group delved deeper into the ruins. As they progressed they discovered a massive stone chamber. In the center stood a gigantic crystal sphere, its interior swirling with light that seemed to contain endless mysteries.

When they approached the crystal sphere it suddenly burst forth a powerful radiance that enveloped them. Within the light fragments of information floated into their minds. It turned out this dimension had once been a hub linking various universes, and that mysterious frequency was a signal to awaken an ancient power. This power was intricately linked to Lin Yuan, apparently a contingency he left long ago to counter the Observer and the "Corrector" threat.

However, before they could learn more, a violent tremor erupted outside the ruins. The group rushed out, only to see huge fissures tearing across the sky, spewing massive Dark Energy. The Dark Energy spread swiftly, devouring everything around.

"Bad, we must have triggered something in the ruins, causing this crisis," Lín Jìn said.

Just as the group prepared to confront the crisis with full force, the elves fluttered into the air. They waved glowing staffs, chanting mysterious incantations. Countless beams of light shot from the elves, converging into a massive light curtain that temporarily halted the spread of the Dark Energy.

"You all hurry away! We'll hold the line here. This is a crisis of our dimension; we cannot flee," the slightly larger elf shouted at Lín Jìn and the others.

Lín Jìn and his companions felt moved, but they knew there was no time for hesitation. "We won't leave; we'll resolve this crisis together!" Lín Jìn declared firmly.

With that, Lín Jìn, Ao Li, Ling Yue, and Lin Li immediately joined the battle. Lín Jìn swung the Abyss Return Ruler, unleashing waves of Sword Qi that slashed at the Dark Energy; Ao Li manipulated the Sea of Life, condensing a massive vortex of light that drew the Dark Energy in; Ling Yue fired various powerful energy weapons from the Jinbone vessel, bombarding the Dark Energy; Lin Li used data energy, attempting to analyze the structure of the Dark Energy to find its weakness.

Through the combined efforts of the group and the elves, the spread of the Dark Energy gradually slowed. Yet just as they thought the crisis was about to end, the Dark Energy suddenly mutated. The mutated Dark Energy grew even more ferocious, breaking through the light curtain and surging toward them.

"Everyone, be careful!" Lín Jìn shouted.

At that critical moment the fetus in Ao Li's abdomen suddenly emitted an incomparably powerful light. The radiance illuminated the entire dimension, and under its glow the Dark Energy rapidly dissipated. As the Dark Energy vanished, the sky fissures gradually healed, and the dimension returned to calm.

After the crisis was averted Lín Jìn and his companions became friends with the elves. To thank them the elves decided to link this dimension with the New Universe where Lín Jìn's party resides, for joint development.

Back in the New Universe Lín Jìn and his companions reported the adventure to various civilizations. To commemorate this series of adventures and the birth of the New Universe they officially named the New Universe "Kai Tian."

In the Kai Tian Universe the previously independent cultivator civilizations and technological civilizations began to exchange and merge. Cultivators used technological means to enhance cultivation efficiency, while the technological civilization drew new energy sources and technical inspiration from the cultivators' spells. This fusion ushered the Kai Tian Universe into a brand‑new stage of development, and every planet displayed a scene of prosperity.

Across the cosmos cultivators could be seen piloting technological starships shuttling back and forth, while scientists employed spiritual energy for all sorts of wondrous experiments. Exchanges between different civilizations grew increasingly frequent; new ideas and cultures constantly collided, sparking countless innovative flames.

As time passed the influence of the Kai Tian Universe expanded, attracting attention from other universes. Many civilizations sent envoys to cooperate and exchange, and the Kai Tian Universe became a dazzling pearl within the multiverse.

Yet behind this prosperity a mysterious post‑credit Easter egg quietly emerged. At the edge of the Kai Tian Universe floated the wreckage of an ancient Starship, silently drifting in the void. The hull was battered and broken, but in a corner of the wreckage lay traces of Crystallization. These crystals emitted a faint glow, as if telling an unknown story.

Who does this Starship wreck belong to? How did the Crystallization grow upon it? What connection do they have to Lín Jìn's adventure and the future of the Kai Tian Universe? All remains hidden behind a mysterious veil, waiting to be unveiled…
