Chapter 336: The Unknown Journey

Ao Li stands on the Starship's deck, gazing at the vast endless universe before her; she feels nervous about the unknown, but more so a steadfast belief and fearless courage. The Starship speeds through space, the stars outside the window flicker like a dream. Yet beneath the calm surface, danger quietly approaches. Suddenly, the Starship shakes violently, and alarms blare instantly.

"Report, Captain, a mysterious energy storm ahead is moving toward us!" a crew member reports anxiously.

Ao Li rushes to the console, observing the energy storm. She sees in the space ahead multicolored energy rolling like surging waves; the powerful fluctuations cause the Starship's shields to flicker unpredictably.

"Activate emergency defense system, adjust shield power, keep the Starship's course as stable as possible!" Ao Li decisively orders.

The crew immediately busies themselves, following the orders. However, the storm's power far exceeds expectations; the Starship rocks violently in the storm, like a leaf tossed in gale and huge waves, ready to be destroyed at any moment.

"Ao Li, this can't continue, the shields won't hold much longer!" Lín Jìn shouts.

Ao Li furrows her brow, quickly devises a countermeasure. Suddenly, a spark of light flashes in her eyes: "Lín Jìn, let's use the Starship's gravity thrusters to alter our trajectory, skirting the edge of the energy storm!"

Lín Jìn nods in agreement: "Alright, I'm adjusting the parameters now!"

Under Ao Li and Lín Jìn's command, the crew works together, striving to adjust the Starship's heading. After a difficult operation, the Starship finally succeeds in changing its course, heading toward the storm's edge.

Yet, just as the Starship is about to leave the storm's influence, a powerful energy beam shoots out from the storm, straight toward the Starship.

"Bad, dodge quickly!" Ao Li shouts.

The crew swiftly maneuvers the Starship to evade, but the beam's speed is too fast; one side of the Starship is grazed, the shields drop sharply, and the hull sustains some damage.

"Immediately inspect hull damage, activate Repair Program!" Ao Li orders while closely monitoring the storm's movement.

After inspection, fortunately the Starship's main systems are largely unaffected, and the Repair Program initiates smoothly. Ao Li and Lín Jìn then breathe a little relief.

"It seems this unknown journey is more dangerous than we imagined," Lín Jìn reflects.

Ao Li looks ahead firmly: "No matter how dangerous, we cannot retreat. This is our mission; we must keep moving forward."

After repairs are completed, the Starship sets out again. As they delve deeper into unknown regions of space, more challenges follow. Sometimes they encounter strange cosmic creatures with powerful attacks that try to strike the Starship; sometimes they face spatial distortions that trap the Starship. Yet Ao Li and Lín Jìn remain calm, leading the crew to turn peril into safety time after time.

In a battle with a group of jellyfish‑like cosmic creatures, the electric currents they release cripple the Starship's electronic systems. Ao Li decisively leads Dragon Clan warriors, donning special protective suits, exiting the Starship to engage the creatures in close combat. Ao Li wields a long sword, lithe, Inheritance Power surging within her; each slash releases powerful Sword Qi, repelling those creatures.

Lín Jìn commands the crew inside the Starship to rush‑repair the electronic systems, while using the Starship's backup weapon system to assist Ao Li and others in battle. After fierce fighting, they finally defeat the creatures and restore the Starship's electronic systems.

As the journey continues, Ao Li and Lín Jìn draw nearer to the source of the mysterious call. Yet what awaits them? The key to solving the mystery, or an even harsher challenge? Everything is shrouded in unknown mist…
