"Hmph, did you think you could escape so easily? Today is your day of death!" Mo Sha said with a sinister laugh, waving his magic staff. A beam of black energy shot toward Ao Li and Lín Jìn.

Ao Li and Lín Jìn quickly dodged in opposite directions. The energy beam struck the ground, triggering a violent explosion. Seeing this, Mo Sha waved his staff again. Countless black runes flew from the top of the staff, forming a huge black vortex in the air that swept toward Ao Li and Lín Jìn.

"Ao Li, watch out! This power is very strong!" Lín Jìn shouted in warning, simultaneously gathering all his energy to form an energy shield in front of him.

Ao Li also took no chances. She fused the inheritance power with her awakened power, forming a golden protective layer around her body. The black vortex slammed into the energy shield and the golden protective layer, erupting with intense light and a booming roar. Ao Li and Lín Jìn felt a powerful shockwave hit them, and their bodies were involuntarily sent flying backward.

Watching Ao Li and Lín Jìn fly backward, Mo Sha wore a smug smile on his face: "No matter how hard you struggle, it's futile. Hand over the key fragments, and I'll give you a quick death!"

Ao Li and Lín Jìn looked toward the source of the flute sound and saw a woman in white robes walking slowly toward them. The woman was stunningly beautiful, with an otherworldly aura, holding a jade flute in her hand as she played the enchanting melody.

Mo Sha frowned, eyeing the woman in white warily: "Who are you? Mind your own business!"

The woman in white ignored Mo Sha. Her gaze fell on Ao Li and Lín Jìn, a hint of concern flashing in her eyes: "Are you two alright?"

Ao Li and Lín Jìn exchanged a glance, filled with doubt, but at this moment, they could only place their hopes on this suddenly appearing woman in white.
