Chapter 711: Despair, Reversal

Just as Lingyun used Tokisaki Kurumi's Twelfth Bullet to send Tobiichi Origami into the past, Tokisaki Kurumi suddenly appeared before Lingyun.

"Lingyun, you used the Twelfth Bullet?" Tokisaki Kurumi looked at Lingyun with some confusion.

"That's right." Lingyun nodded, and the flintlock in his hand turned into specks of starlight and vanished.

"Correct, that is the case," Lingyun said. "However, I did not sense enough power in her to alter history."

"No power sufficient to alter history? What do you mean?" Tokisaki Kurumi bit her lip as she looked at Lingyun.

"Prepare yourself; perhaps what we are about to face is the second Inverse Spirit to appear in this world," Lingyun said as he stood up.

"Alright." Tokisaki Kurumi nodded.

Just then, a flash of light appeared before Lingyun and vanished in an instant, followed by a terrifying force that surged directly out from within the light. Lingyun narrowed his eyes and saw a black silhouette flash before him and disappear into the small shop.

After the silhouette vanished, a piercing alarm resounded throughout the entire sky; it was the alarm for a Spacequake.

"This is bad, Commander! We have detected an extremely powerful Inverse Spirit Power above Tengu City!" a crew member reported to Itsuka Kotori with a look of horror.

"What? Inverse Spirit Power?" Itsuka Kotori jumped straight up from her seat. "How could Inverse Spirit Power appear? Quickly, call my brother over! At the same time, project the situation at the location of the Inverse Spirit Power onto the screen!"

Realizing that she could no longer drag this out, Tobiichi Origami used a teleportation to distance herself from Lingyun, and then her Angel began to charge. Massive Inverse Spirit Power gathered at the muzzle formed by the crown, aimed in Lingyun's direction.
