Chapter 758: The Sword Saint Enters the Fray
Outside the Elf Fortress, a rumbling sound arose; it was the sound produced by the marching of countless Orc warriors.
The Orc Army advanced at an extremely fast speed, and after only a short while, they appeared beneath the walls of the Elf Fortress. Hundreds of thousands of Orc troops were lined up in perfect order, and the powerful aura they exuded caused the entire sky to distort slightly.
At the very front of the Orc Army were the Orc Great Shaman Dimolin and the Orc Sword Saint Azike. Behind the two of them were a large number of powerful members of the Orc Race, and even several Behemoths had appeared.
"Your Excellency Andiya, we meet again." Dimolin looked toward the Elf Fortress with lifeless eyes and spoke softly.
His voice was not very loud, yet it reached the ears of everyone on the entire battlefield with extreme clarity.
"Indeed, I also did not expect that I would meet you again. Dimolin, you dared to slaughter the personnel of my Spirit Race stationed at your Beast God City's Half-Elf Auction House to use for a Blood Sacrifice; I have yet to settle this account with you!" Andiya looked at Dimolin below the city wall, a cold sneer appearing on her face.
"Is it worth it, just for a few half-elves?" Dimolin's tone held some confusion.
"I believe it is worth it! Since it was I who dispatched them to Beast God City in the first place, now that something has happened to them in Beast God City, I naturally have the obligation to help them seek justice!" Andiya said firmly. "I have already said before that I will not let go of anyone who caused their deaths!"
"Is that so? Then we can only let our skills speak for themselves!" Hearing Andiya say this, Dimolin knew that this battle was unavoidable.
Dimolin waved his hand, and the Orc warriors behind him let out a roar in unison, charging toward the direction of the Elf Fortress.
"Attack!" At Andiya's command, Magic Crystal Cannons suddenly appeared on the ramparts of the Elf Fortress, firing directly at the Orcs charging toward the fortress.
"Roar—" Strange, shrill cries erupted from within the Orc warriors' formation, and one after another, massive blood-red monsters suddenly emerged from the ranks, pouncing toward the Elf Fortress.
"It's Blood Demon Beasts, prepare the Elf Holy Spears!" Seeing the Blood Demon Beasts appear, the Spirit Race commander quickly issued the order.
Beams of emerald-green light began to shine atop the Elf Fortress walls, and sharp Elf Holy Spears were aimed at the Blood Demon Beasts pouncing toward the wall. As long as those Blood Demon Beasts dared to approach the Elf Fortress, these Elf Holy Spears would absolutely blast them into smithereens at the first opportunity.
"Kill!"
Just as the Orc Army launched their attack on the Elf Fortress, Andiya's gaze instantly locked onto Dimolin, who was hidden within the formation. She slowly drew a green long bow she held in her hand. An emerald-green arrow emerged from the Void and was lightly nocked onto the bowstring. Dimolin, hidden in the formation, felt his scalp tingle, as if he were being stared at by some terrifying ancient beast.
"It's Andiya!" Dimolin's tone held a hint of shock.
"Whoosh—" A green light arrow pierced through space and appeared before Dimolin in an instant. If not for a flash of inspiration that caused him to dodge, that strike would have absolutely been enough to pierce through his body.
Having avoided Andiya's attack, Dimolin could not help but wipe the cold sweat from his forehead; if that strike had landed squarely on him, it would have definitely been enough to leave him severely wounded.
However, the green light arrow was not the only one. As Dimolin dodged the first light arrow, one after another, more light arrows appeared before him, with the clear intent of turning his body into a hornet's nest.
Just at this moment, a massive door-sized sword descended from the sky with a whistling sound, blocking directly in front of him. The enormous blade shielded Dimolin's entire body, and the light arrows struck the great sword without causing even the slightest bit of damage to it.
"This sword looks somewhat familiar," Andiya lowered the Elf Bow in her hand and said, looking at that sword.
"Roar—"
A heaven-shaking roar erupted from the Orc Empire's formation, and a golden Light Cannon instantly pierced through space, blasting toward the direction of the Elf Fortress. Along the way, both the Orc Army's attacks and the Elf Fortress's attacks were completely evaporated into nothingness by this beam of light. Watching the menacing Light Cannon, Andiya extended her hand, and emerald-green light bloomed before her, transforming into layers upon layers of Arrays. The Light Cannon struck the Arrays, producing a violent boom, but it was unable to break through the Arrays.
"This type of Light Cannon is a unique attack method of the Behemoth Race, right? If you add that distinctive great sword, so it was you, Orc Sword Saint Azike." The Arrays before Andiya slowly dissipated, and her gaze turned toward a tall figure in the distance.
"This is the Spirit Race's High Priest Andiya? Then, let me witness just how powerful you truly are!" Azike looked at the tall figure on the ramparts of the Elf Fortress, his eyes filled with fighting spirit.
"Kill!" Azike pulled out the long sword stuck in front of Dimolin, his figure turning into an afterimage as he charged toward the Elf Fortress.
"Azike, is this your trump card, Dimolin?" Andiya watched Azike charging toward the Elf Fortress and extended her right hand, the Elf Scepter appearing in her grasp. "Lingyun, I am going to see just how much weight that man known as the Orc Empire's number one Sword Saint, Azike, really has. I leave Dimolin to you!"
"Go, I will take care of Dimolin," Lingyun nodded and said.
Andiya tapped her toes against the ramparts, and her figure instantly turned into an afterimage, streaking toward Azike's direction. When the two met in the middle of the battlefield, two God Domains unfolded simultaneously, the invisible fluctuations shaking the entire space. Amidst a violent Flash, both of them vanished from the battlefield.
"Now, it is time for us to attack."
Seeing Azike and Andiya disappear together, a glint flashed in Dimolin's eyes. He did not know what the final outcome of the battle between Andiya and Azike would be. Facing this Spirit Race offensive, he found that his Fate Power seemed to have lost its effect, leaving him completely unable to predict the outcome of the battle between the two powerhouses. However, with Andiya gone, the Spirit Race army was no different from lambs waiting to be slaughtered in his eyes.
Dimolin suddenly raised the ancient Scepter in his hand, and circles of blood-colored light erupted from around his body. Four figures exuding terrifying auras appeared around him. Those were four God Domain Blood Demon Beasts, and they were the greatest trump card in his hand.
"God Domain Blood Demon Beasts?" Sensing the strange aura within the Orc Army, Lingyun's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Leave those four guys to us; you deal with that Eagle-man!" A voice sounded from behind Lingyun.
"Good, then I leave this side to you all." Lingyun nodded, and his figure instantly vanished from the ramparts.
Watching the God Domain Blood Demon Beasts continuously approach the Elf Fortress, a trace of a smile could not help but appear on Dimolin's face. As long as these four God Domain Blood Demon Beasts charged in front of the Elf Fortress, then what the Elf Fortress would face would inevitably be a horrific massacre.
Just at this moment, an incomparably sharp light flashed beside Dimolin. Dimolin was startled and dodged violently to the side. A cyan Sword Qi swept past him, instantly slicing hundreds of Orc warriors behind him into two.
"Who is it?" After avoiding the Sword Qi, a flash of anger crossed Dimolin's eyes, and he roared out.
"I am Lingyun, here specifically to claim your head!" Lingyun's figure slowly appeared before Dimolin.
