Chapter 974: The Battle of the Girls (Part II)

Amidst the light soaring into the sky, a giant Mermaid Witch appeared in mid-air. Beside the Mermaid Witch was a tall Dan-role Witch riding a fine steed.

The simultaneous appearance of these two witches instantly attracted the attention of Walpurgisnacht; her massive form slowly rotated in mid-air, facing the direction of the two witches.

After summoning the witches, the Soul Gem on Sayaka's body released a dazzling light at this moment. She felt her field of vision split into two parts in this instant; one part was her own, and the other was the Mermaid Witch's.

"Sure enough, the existence known as a Magical Girl is, in a sense, also a monster!" Sayaka murmured, her figure instantly charging toward the direction of Walpurgisnacht.

Lines of a musical staff instantly emerged beside Sayaka; Sayaka's figure landed on the staff and flew toward the direction of Walpurgisnacht.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't be so impulsive!" Watching Sayaka's actions, Sakura Kyoko stomped her right foot against the ground, and a crimson Magic Array appeared beneath her. Under the recoil of the Magic Array, Sakura Kyoko's figure shot out like a bolt of lightning, chasing in Sayaka's direction.

While the two were in motion, the Mermaid Witch and the Dan-role Witch also charged toward the direction of Walpurgisnacht.

Sensing the immense Magic on the two witches, Walpurgisnacht did not dare to take them lightly; countless familiars emerged from her side and charged toward the direction of the two witches.

Countless Ribbons spread through the Void, instantly binding all the familiars before flinging them in other directions. Immediately following, the spreading Ribbons fiercely bound Walpurgisnacht's arms.

Standing on Tomoe Mami's shoulder, the Snack Witch's mouth suddenly opened wide, and a giant worm rushed out from her mouth, biting toward the direction of Walpurgisnacht.

Bound by the Ribbons, Walpurgisnacht could not dodge in time; the second form of the Snack Witch had already appeared before her, opening her mouth to bite toward her head.

Seeing this scene, Tomoe Mami felt a chill run down her neck; after all, she had once nearly fallen to this very move by the Snack Witch.

However, Walpurgisnacht's speed was also quite fast; her form suddenly turned, her right hand tearing through the binding of the Ribbons to block before her head. The Snack Witch's mouth bit heavily onto Walpurgisnacht's hand, fiercely tearing off a large piece of fabric from Walpurgisnacht's arm.

While Walpurgisnacht struggled, the Mermaid Witch and the Dan-role Witch also appeared before her simultaneously, a blade and a Spear slamming fiercely toward Walpurgisnacht's body.

A violent booming sound erupted in mid-air; Walpurgisnacht's body retreated continuously under the attacks of the two witches, finally slamming heavily into a tall building. Two huge wounds appeared on her body. However, these two wounds were continuously healing.

"Tsk, that really is a foul ability!" Looking at Walpurgisnacht in this state, Sayaka couldn't help but mutter.

Having suffered a heavy blow, Walpurgisnacht let out a shrill shriek, the Magic on her body surging crazily, blasting both witches back at the same time.

Suddenly, the torrent of Magic was broken by two figures; a giant Spear shot out from the torrent, heavily piercing through Walpurgisnacht's body. And upon the shaft of the Spear, Sayaka held her Command Sword high, slashing down heavily toward Walpurgisnacht's arm.

Amidst a harsh screeching sound of friction, one of Walpurgisnacht's arms was actually severed by Sayaka's full-force strike.

After severing Walpurgisnacht's arm, Sayaka's figure retreated rapidly. But Walpurgisnacht's other hand suddenly swept across at this moment, directly knocking Sayaka's body flying. At the same time, a crimson light shot out from Walpurgisnacht's mouth, aimed directly at Sayaka.

Just as the light was about to touch Sayaka's body, a red figure swept past from mid-air, catching Sayaka and dodging the beam of light.

"Thanks." Sayaka said softly to Sakura Kyoko, who was holding her.

"Didn't I tell you to be careful?" Sakura Kyoko huffed and said.

"Tiro Finale!" Just as Sayaka and the other had successfully dealt heavy damage to Walpurgisnacht, a giant projectile suddenly appeared beside Tomoe Mami; the diameter of this projectile was even longer than her own height.

A layer of Bubbles wrapped around the projectile; Tomoe Mami used the Ribbons to spin her body in mid-air, kicking the projectile heavily. The projectile instantly ignited with dazzling fire, turning into a streak of light as it crashed toward the direction of Walpurgisnacht.

Walpurgisnacht, who had just struggled up from the collapsed building, was heavily struck by the projectile; the massive impact force vented from her body, directly knocking down the building behind her. Subsequently, a giant mushroom cloud rose into the sky, completely engulfing Walpurgisnacht's form. A powerful shockwave swept out, instantly blowing large pieces of shattered buildings into mid-air.

"Did it finish her off?" Looking at the mushroom cloud rising into the sky, Akemi Homura couldn't help but frown.

Suddenly, countless attacks shot out from within the mushroom cloud, launching an indiscriminate attack against everyone present.

"Click—"

A soft sound rang out at this moment; an Akemi Homura appeared in front of Sayaka, Sakura Kyoko, and Tomoe Mami respectively. They simultaneously raised the shields in their hands, blocking Walpurgisnacht's attack.

On the other side, the weapon in the Mermaid Witch's hand had changed at some point, transforming into a Spear with a crimson tip, while the weapon in the Dan-role Witch's hand also changed into a slender Samurai Sword. The two great witches struck with both hands, batting away all the beams of light blasting toward them.

"Can't even an attack of this level eliminate Walpurgisnacht?" Watching Walpurgisnacht rush out from the explosion with a tattered form, the Magical Girls present could not help but frown.

"If once isn't enough, then we'll do it again!" The three Akemi Homuras merged into one in mid-air and raised the shields in their hands.

Shadows suddenly emerged in the Void; they were none other than Sayaka and the others who had launched the previous attacks. Akemi Homura used her time ability to reproduce the time silhouettes of their recent attacks at this moment, launching another round of attacks against Walpurgisnacht.

A pallor couldn't help but rise on the face of Akemi Homura, who had released this move; it was clear that this method of time reproduction was quite a drain on her, and she would likely be unable to use it a second time in the short term.

However, the final result of the attack caused the hearts of all the Magical Girls to sink, because such an attack, aside from making Walpurgisnacht slightly weaker, had failed to completely kill Walpurgisnacht.

Moreover, at this moment, an even worse situation occurred: Walpurgisnacht's inverted form actually began to move like the hands of a clock, as if she intended to change her inverted state.

"Oh no!" This was the thought that rose simultaneously in the hearts of all the Magical Girls.
