Journey to the West: Starting by Joining the Chat Group, Main Text Volume, Chapter 65: Three Feet Above the Head There Are Gods. Covering the Sky Plane, the day of the class reunion.

Ye Fan tidied up a bit, looked at himself in the mirror, and muttered to himself:

"Although I'm not as handsome as Xuan Ge, this appearance isn't bad either."

"It's just, sigh, it's the class reunion today. Have the gears of fate finally started turning?"

Ye Fan felt conflicted; it was precisely from this day on that he would leave Earth, travel far to the other shore of the starry sky, and begin his path of Immortal Cultivation.

However, unlike the original, Ye Fan had communicated with his parents in advance and made up an excuse.

The company is going public, and he needs to go abroad for public relations for a few years!

This could be considered leaving his parents with some peace of mind so they wouldn't worry about him.

Although he had already prepared himself mentally and had made up his mind to distance himself from everything he currently had.

Compared to a dull urban life, deep down, he preferred wandering and adventure.

But when the time came, Ye Fan suddenly didn't want to attend the class reunion anymore.

As long as he didn't go to Mount Tai, then the Nine Dragons Pulling the Coffin wouldn't affect him.

But this was just a thought!

In the parking garage, Ye Fan prepared to drive his Mercedes to the reunion. Just as he sat in the driver's seat, a flash of inspiration struck his mind.

"I won't be able to come back after this reunion, so why bother driving there? I might as well scan a shared bike to get there."

"No, that's not right. It's the last time anyway, riding a bicycle won't make people look down on me."

"It's just a Mercedes, pfft!"

After thinking it over, Ye Fan still decided to drive to the class reunion.

Nothing could stop his yearning for the starry sky!

Journey to the West World.

After Xuanzang returned from the Super God Plane, the voice of the Heavenly Dao Rewards Diligence System reached his ears simultaneously.

"Ding, congratulations to the host for completing the daily task: One Good Deed a Day. Successfully reconciled the Demon Queen Morgana with her sister, and obtained the technique: Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations!"

"Ah... this..."

Xuanzang's expression was unusual; he was somewhat pleasantly surprised, but also somewhat taken aback.

He hadn't expected to be rewarded with a technique this time!

However, he already possessed the God Elephant Prison Suppressing, Six Paths of Reincarnation Fist, Grass Character Sword Art, and Great Might Heavenly Dragon mantra supernatural powers.

He hadn't even fully comprehended those yet, and now he had the Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations.

The Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations were the supreme supernatural techniques of the Three Teachings, modified by the Taiqing Saint, Yuqing Saint, and Shangqing Saint based on their own Pangu inheritance to be suitable for their disciples to practice.

The thirty-six types of supernatural powers within it were extremely monstrous, even involving the reversal of the Great Luo!

Things like reversing time and space, creating objects out of thin air, and having one's words become law were all within the Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations.

Since ancient times, apart from those top-tier Immortal Cultivation big shots who had fully comprehended the Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations, few Postnatal lifeforms had been able to fully comprehend the thirty-six transformations.

"This reward is not bad. I'll practice it slowly in the future; there's no rush."

Xuanzang walked out of the meditation room. Feeling a bit hungry, he went into the woods halfway up the mountain and caught a Green Flower Chicken.

"Ga ga ga!"

The Green Flower Chicken screamed desperately, its face showing a look of terror.

What did this young man want to do? Why wouldn't he let it go?

First of all, it hadn't provoked anyone.

"Chicken, if you don't go to hell, who will? The human world is too bitter; I will help you achieve Transcendence. Perhaps you might even be able to be a human in your next life."

Xuanzang used a spell to bind the Green Flower Chicken and advised it very earnestly.

He didn't want the Green Flower Chicken to die on the spot filled with fear, but rather to die filled with longing for the afterlife; only by accepting it willingly could it be the Great Dao, and only then would the taste be delicious.

But the more he did this, the more terrified the Green Flower Chicken became!

"Ga ga ga~"

The chaotic squawking made Xuanzang feel very annoyed. He darkened his face and said:

"Evil creature, I've tried to reason with you but you won't listen. You are truly stubborn; I will send you to reincarnation now."

"..."

The Green Flower Chicken was so scared by Xuanzang that its eyes rolled back and it collapsed on the spot.

"Stop, wicked disciple! What are you doing!"

At the critical moment, the Old Monk suddenly ran out from the bushes, his eyes spitting fire.

Xuanzang was startled by the sudden sharp shout. Seeing it was the Old Monk, he thought to himself that it was bad, and couldn't help but say:

"Master, why are you here?"

The Old Monk looked on coldly, staring at the Green Flower Chicken on the ground, and said sternly: "Xuanzang, how can you kill a living thing under the eyes of the Buddha! Three feet above the head there are gods!"

Xuanzang had nerves of steel and explained:

"Is there a possibility, Master, that your disciple was reciting scriptures to it, and it fainted from being moved?"

"..." the Green Flower Chicken.

"Reciting scriptures? Do you take this old monk for a fool? Get lost, go back up the mountain and copy the Moral Tendon one hundred times." The Old Monk waved his hand, looking impatient.

"Oh!"

Xuanzang took one last reluctant look at the Green Flower Chicken, then left.

In truth, he wasn't hungry; he just wanted to break a precept and have a taste of something fresh.

After Xuanzang left, the Old Monk's expression softened.

The Green Flower Chicken slowly woke up and revealed a look of gratitude toward the Old Monk.

After all, all things have spirits!

The Old Monk fixed his gaze on the chicken, suddenly chuckled, grabbed it, held it up in mid-air, and said:

"If I do not enter hell, who will? Little chicken, meeting this old monk is your good fortune; I shall send you to the Western Paradise right now."

Having said that, he ended the Green Flower Chicken's short and exciting life with a single slap.

"..." The Green Flower Chicken was speechless.

It was truly impressed by this master and disciple; like master, like disciple—if the upper beam is crooked, the lower ones will be askew.

It had actually had faith in human nature and felt grateful to the Old Monk.

Who would have thought the Old Monk would send it to the Western Heaven in the blink of an eye.

The Old Monk sat down on the spot, took out his alms-begging Golden Alms Bowl, placed the Green Flower Chicken inside, flicked his finger to release a masterful burst of Samadhi True Fire, sprinkled a pile of seasonings, and began to roast it.

Soon, the aroma of the barbecue wafted out, filling the surrounding woods.

Before eating, the Old Monk even mercifully recited Amituofo and the Transcendence Sutra several times.

But the moment he was about to eat, Xuanzang, who had long since left, suddenly jumped out again, wearing a face full of smiles.

At this moment, the master and disciple looked at each other, and the air fell silent for an instant.

"This, Master, you wouldn't kill me to silence me, would you?" Xuanzang asked.

"..., ahem... Xuanzang, is there a possibility that your master was teaching it to be reborn through fire!"

The Old Monk was startled by Xuanzang's words and thus explained.

"Understood, understood. This disciple saw that the chicken had Buddha-nature, which is why I was preaching to it earlier. Master also saw that the chicken had Buddha-nature, so you taught it the method of rebirth through fire, to sacrifice itself." Xuanzang nodded.

While speaking, Xuanzang tore a chicken leg from the Old Monk's Golden Alms Bowl and said:

"Master, let this disciple send it on its final journey."

"Xuanzang, I have seen since you were small that you have the heart of a Bodhisattva. But let us, master and disciple, send it off together."

The Old Monk tore off the other roasted chicken leg, pressed his palms together, and then civilly sent it into his Viscera temple.

During the process of transcendence, the master and disciple understood each other without words, smiled at each other, and everything was left unsaid.

But this calmness was only on the surface!

"This rebellious disciple Xuanzang actually played me. Truly, the waves of the Yangtze River push the ones before them; I am unable to refute him," the Old Monk thought to himself, feeling somewhat unwilling.

"Delicious, it's my first time tasting the Old Monk's cooking; it's truly not bad! This practiced technique is definitely not his first time. Hmph, always preaching about precepts, let's see how he talks later," Xuanzang thought to himself.

"Ding, Ye Fan Zhen Bu Hei has started a Chat Group livestream!"

At this moment, the sound of the Chat Group suddenly rang out!

PS: It seems like Daolei, Ziye Heimo, and Ye Suifeng Piao gave tips. I have things to do today, I will add more chapters tomorrow.
