"Alright, got it. New City, we'll meet at the station."

Inside the screening hall,

Director Chen hung up the phone and immediately looked visibly relieved.

Patting Qin Feng on the shoulder, Director Chen said with a smile: "New City just called; it's confirmed. That man is a fugitive suspect involved in multiple cases including theft and robbery. They are bringing him back to the station for fingerprint comparison."

"So, Qin Feng, the nature of this case has changed entirely. Even if that woman tries to make trouble, it won't work this time."

"Here's what we'll do, Qin Feng: you two go back first. We'll take the mother and child straight to the station to check their IDs and compare fingerprints. Once we handle the criminal matter, we can then consider the civil dispute between you."

"If that woman forgets about this by then, there will be no need to pursue it further."

After Director Chen finished speaking, he looked at Xia Jie: "Let's go, Xia Jie. Take that woman back to the station."

"Yes, Master."
