Chapter 357

So Qin Feng decided,

to start with the Engineering Department and eliminate the biggest parasite.

Hearing that Qin Feng intended to fire the Engineering Department director,

several employees clearly showed a change in expression,

and Li Zong, in that very moment, hurriedly spoke up to advise: "Qin Zong, can't we be a bit less rash?"

"You have only just arrived at the company; how can you fire the Engineering Department director? This is cutting off your own arm."

"Cutting off my own arm?"

Qin Feng looked at Li Zong and smiled with interest: "Li Zong, please elaborate."

"Yes, Qin Zong."

Li Zong stopped his brother-in-law, who was about to lose his temper, with a glance,

then looked at Qin Feng and said: "Qin Zong, Tong Cheng has followed me from the early days of our startup to the present; he has led the completion of all major and minor projects in the company."

"Let me put it this way: among so many employees in the Engineering Department, only Tong Cheng commands their loyalty; if someone else were put in charge, they would surely throw down their tools and quit."

"Furthermore, having worked for so many years, Tong Cheng possesses extensive resources with downstream suppliers and material vendors, maintains good relationships with several supervision companies, and has strong connections and resources."

"If you directly fire Tong Cheng, our Qimiao Decoration construction teams will likely disband completely; the workers will certainly all leave!"

Li Zong described the consequences in extremely severe terms,

attempting to use these points to stop Qin Feng.

And at this moment,

Qin Feng merely shook his head and smiled: "Then that is perfect; the Engineering Department need not remain. Fire them all!"

"Ah?!"

Li Zong was utterly astonished, looking at Qin Feng in disbelief,

while the former Engineering Department director, Tong Cheng, also stared at Qin Feng with a face full of shock.

They had not expected

that Qin Feng would be so decisive and ruthless, cutting down the entire Engineering Department in an instant!

For a moment,

the other employees were all stunned,

and Li Zong was completely dumbfounded.

Only He Fanxing felt reluctant,

mustered her courage to step forward, then looked up at Qin Feng and said: "Qin Zong, this decision of yours is a bit too arbitrary."

"Hmm?"

Seeing that the person standing before him was He Fanxing,

Qin Feng became interested,

and smiled as he asked: "How is it arbitrary?"

"Qin Zong."

Although she inexplicably felt a wave of shyness,

He Fanxing persisted in meeting Qin Feng's gaze, then said: "Qin Zong, the Marketing Department, the Design Department, and the Engineering Department have always been the core of Qimiao Decoration; none can be missing."

"With your arrival, you have suddenly cut down the entire Engineering Department; then subsequent projects will have no one to execute them. With no one to do the work, Qimiao Decoration cannot continue..."

"Not necessarily."

Qin Feng smiled slightly,

then spoke again: "Announce another decision: from today onward, He Fanxing is directly promoted to the position of General Manager of Qimiao Decoration; Li Zong is demoted to Deputy General Manager, primarily responsible for personnel attendance matters..."

"What?!"

After hearing Qin Feng's words,

He Fanxing was utterly astonished, her mouth agape, momentarily unsure whether to feel joy or sorrow,

while Li Zong, equally astonished, was already cursing bitterly in his heart...
