Chapter 609

The bell for the end of class rang,

finally ending this somewhat dull math lesson,

and the other students immediately began packing their personal belongings to leave the classroom,

while at that moment, the tutor walked over to Zhu Yun and Qin Feng with a smile, then asked, "Student Zhu Yun, I asked around; it seems the submission deadline is in two days. Have you finished your work?"

"Mm, I've finished it, Teacher."

Zhu Yun nodded happily: "And I'm very confident in my own work. Setting aside the national and regional competitions, at least the group stage is a guaranteed win."

"That's good."

The tutor nodded, then said, "The teachers have already started betting on this competition, on whether you or Teacher Cao will win. Currently, Teacher Cao has a much higher chance of winning, but I still bet fifty yuan on you to win."

"Haha."

Hearing this, Zhu Yun smiled happily: "Thank you, Teacher. I will definitely win."

"No problem. Believe in yourself and do your best."

The math tutor continued smiling: "For you, I bet fifty; for Teacher Cao, I bet one hundred. Teacher Cao's odds are 1 to 0.5, while yours are 1 to 3, so no matter who wins, I won't lose, hahaha."

"..."

Hearing this, Zhu Yun's face turned bitter; she then helplessly smiled and shook her head,

and seeing this, Qin Feng immediately rummaged through his pocket for some cash,

counted it,

then directly handed five hundred to the math tutor: "Teacher, please place a bet for me too. Five hundred. I'm betting on Zhu Yun to win."

"Qin Feng..."

Hearing this, Zhu Yun was somewhat moved; she hadn't expected Qin Feng to support her so much,

but the next second,

Qin Feng went all-in with the rest of his money on the math tutor: "Teacher, the remaining two thousand-plus, please use it all to bet on Teacher Cao to win..."

"Qin Feng?!"

Zhu Yun instantly flew into a rage, reaching out to pinch the soft flesh on Qin Feng's waist,

and the math tutor laughed heartily, waving his hand to refuse: "No, no. This is the joy between us teachers; no students are allowed to participate. However, Qin Feng, I advise you to use this money to treat Student Zhu Yun to a good meal; that way, she won't have the heart to pinch you, haha..."

"She won't, Teacher."

While dodging, Qin Feng quipped: "If I let Zhu Yun eat her fill, she'll pinch me even harder!"

"Hahahahahahaha..."

In the classroom, the math tutor's hearty laughter rang out immediately,

while at this moment, Zhu Yun gritted her teeth and increased the force of her pinch even more...

... Dead.
