Chapter 370: Rescue

~7 min read 1,368 words

Boom—. The sound of the motorcycle engine suddenly roared from far to near like thunder; the gate of the long-abandoned steel factory building below the stairs opened, and a white motorcycle with a front like a rocket roared past, its spinning tires kicking up scattered dust on the ground, and several black shadows flickered in the smoke and dust.

"Who? Come out!" Xin Tian Wenbo grabbed the Constellation Switch in his hand, leaned on the railing and shouted at the black shadow; he never expected someone would actually come to save this hopeless scum.

"Kamen Rider Club, Ruyue Xian Tairan!" A black silhouette gradually emerged from the dust, accompanied by a voice that cut like nails and iron.

"Ruyue senior? Why did you come to save me."

JK couldn't believe it—how could this be possible? Anyone could come to save him, except Ruyue Xian Tairan, who not only stole the switch but also got Xian Tairan injured by the Star Disciple; yet even so, Xian Tairan still came over.

"JK, I'm here, are you okay?" Ruyue Xian Tairan asked.

JK, bound to the pillar with nylon rope, however, darted his eyes away, remained silent, not knowing how to face Ruyue Xian Tairan.

Seeing JK's evasive attitude, Ruyue Xian Tairan didn't force him, but turned his gaze to the equally shocked Xin Tian Wenbo: "Give up, quickly release JK!"

"I really can't believe it's you coming to save him—have you already forgiven his betrayal?" Xin Tian Wenbo pressed his thumb onto the switch, making sure he wouldn't be suddenly stopped.

"No, I can't forgive him either." Ruyue Xian Tairan shook his head. "That's exactly why I must be friends with him, accepting even his twisted personality, to become true friends."

"What an idiot, then you and JK will die here together." Xin Tian Wenbo tried to laugh but couldn't; why hadn't he met such a good friend before? It's a pity that such a fine person is about to vanish from this world. He slightly exerted his palm, and like an eyeball switch, a powerful blast instantly enveloped him; the light from the stars completely engulfed his body, as if a huge silkworm were spitting silk.

But inside these silvery-white cocoons was not a real silkworm; through the translucent threads one could see Xin Tian Wenbo wrapped inside, slowly collapsing. In his place stood a Warrior who had become the Unicorn Star Disciple.

"You're not trustworthy; someone has already come to rescue you." JK struggled in despair—clearly the agreement was that if someone came, he'd be released, yet now there's no sign of letting him go.

"That's impossible; promises work only for the trustworthy, and I don't need to keep my word with you." The Unicorn Star Disciple gripped his spear tightly and hurled it straight at the bound JK, releasing it.

"JK!" Ruyue Xian Tairan bellowed, transforming at his fastest speed ever; white steam burst outward in all directions, his body tumbled in midair, and his spray-paint backpack instantly accelerated behind him.

His dream was to befriend everyone at this school—no one should die, no one should be missing. He strained his hand to grab that spear, but he was a step too late; his grasp closed on empty air, and he could only watch helplessly as the spear aimed at JK's body.

"Clang!"

At that moment, a white scorpion tail like a spinal column shot out, following Ruyue Xian Tairan's gaze, tearing through the air and shattering the spear flying through the sky.

Ruyue Xian Tairan tumbled in midair and landed before JK; he looked up at the pure white scorpion tail extending upward—it was the terrifyingly abnormal Scorpio—but Ruyue harbored no fighting thoughts, instead shouting cheerfully: "Thank you, teacher!"

"I've said before that people like JK, who exploit others' goodwill to achieve their own goals, must accept punishment, but the punishment does not include depriving him of his life."

Jiang Xia stood tall on high ground; sunlight poured through the upper windows onto the Scorpio's body, resembling both an angel pitying the world and a demon destroying everything. The scorpion tail coiled around him like a living thing, swaying slightly, and he spoke:

"Xian Tairan, I recall teaching you: when faced with a situation, don't waste words, don't give the enemy any chance; only after defeating the enemy can you save everything."

"Sorry, teacher, it won't happen again." Ruyue Xian Tairan stomped the ground, his rear jet device rapidly shortening the distance to the Unicorn Star Disciple. "Hah, you think this can beat me?" The Unicorn Star Disciple looked at the charging Ruyue Xian Tairan, spread his hand, and the sword that had shattered into fragments regenerated in his grip; he thrust fiercely at the airborne Ruyue Xian Tairan, sparks flying, while Ruyue Xian Tairan was also directly blasted away.

Just then, a violent wind swept the area; a mechanical arm thicker than a steel rod punched through the roof and caught the blown-away Ruyue Xian Tairan.

"Ruyue, use the Rocket Switch to shift the battlefield; if we settle the Star Disciple here, the factory will be affected—go to an open spot." The voice of Ge Xing Xian Wu came from within the support robot.

"Okay, teacher, I'll leave JK to you." Ruyue Xian Tairan replied, quickly pressed the Rocket Switch, and while launching the Unicorn Star Disciple upward, he didn't forget to greet Jiang Xia.

He knew the teacher disliked people like JK, but the teacher never harmed students; he was well aware of Jiang Xia's manner of doing things, except for himself—beating people is genuine beating, and of course he is also the person he trusts most.

"Go ahead without worry; I'll take care of the rear concerns." Jiang Xia said.

Upon hearing Ruyue Xian Tairan address the Scorpio as teacher, Ge Xing Xian Wu, inside the cockpit, visibly froze for a moment, then realized—how could anyone be called that by Ruyue? The identity was obvious, and he felt no betrayal or doubt, only trust, steadfast trust.

The noises in the abandoned factory gradually faded, leaving only the unconscious Xin Tian Wenbo and the bound JK at this moment; Jiang Xia's tail behind him swayed like a poisonous snake spitting its tongue, coiling around JK's body, as if JK's breath had stopped entirely, his whole frame trembling like a pheasant facing a tiger.

Although he understood this was Ruyue Xian Tairan's teacher, a good person, he couldn't stop being afraid, for the Scorpio's appearance was far more terrifying than Xin Tian Wenbo's Unicorn Star Disciple form; he felt he was about to wet himself, any moment.

A white flash—JK only felt his body lighten, then instantly collapsed to the ground; only then did he discover in shock that his clothes were soaked through, and it was only thanks to the rope's support that he hadn't fallen flat, but now the rope was gone, his legs went weak and he couldn't stand.

But just as he was about to lie down for a while, he noticed the Scorpio approaching; JK once again tapped into his own potential, the honed escape ability filling him with strength anew, and he fled in terror down the road…running faster than a marathon.

"No wonder you're the most crisis-aware person of the Heavenly River—your escape skill is top-notch." Jiang Xia watched JK leave smoothly, smiling to himself.

Everyone has now left; it's time to deal with the final enemy.

The Unicorn Star Disciple is indeed strong, but don't forget—who is the person distributing the Constellation Switches on campus, now replaced by the Scorpio?

The scorpion tail traced a perfect arc in midair, like a white silver snake; its speed is great, quick to react—this is the proper way to use the Scorpio.

"Clang!"

The scorpion tail struck empty space before Xin Tian Wenbo, producing a metallic clashing sound.

In the aftermath of the metallic clash, sparks flew; the next instant, the factory floor trembled, the loud bang and exploding ground instantly spread cracks like a spiderweb, a black silhouette was blown straight away and slammed down by an unimaginable force.

Jiang Xia retracted the scorpion tail and said slowly: "Libra, your illusion technique still needs more practice."
