Chapter 427: Banzang vs the Three Kage

Mu Ye Zhi Qi Guan Ying Zhang.

"Since we promised an alliance with Rain Hidden, the pressure we face has greatly lessened."

Chief Commander Nairan Benhe looked at the frontline battle report, and a rare smile appeared on his face.

It is indeed true, Shanjiaoyu Banzang's Poison Mist is unstoppable on the battlefield.

He alone can stop a group of enemy village ninjas.

It greatly reduces the pressure on Konoha Ninja.

This alliance can truly be called a perfect match!

"Nara Clan Leader, do you have any news about the Eight-tailed Jinchuriki?"

Lian Ye doesn't care about Banzang's performance; he only wants to capture the hidden Eight-tailed and bring it back to report to Ban Daye.

Killing a jinchuriki on the battlefield raises no objections.

When the war ends, it won't be that easy.

Take advantage of now to capture a few Tailed Beasts to secure Ban Daye; otherwise he'll think we have unfulfilled ambitions.

People become sharper as they age.

Madara Uchiha isn't as easily swayed as he imagined.

Until my strength surpasses Ban Daye, I can only stall as much as possible.

Only when Ban Daye completely loses his great power can I strike him hard.

Bullying an elder is disgraceful, but this elder is Madara Uchiha.

Without resorting to tactics, the goal cannot be achieved.

"Renya Jonin, Cloud Hidden Village hasn't sent any jinchuriki recently."

Nairan Benhe explained: "Perhaps the death of the Four-tailed jinchuriki made them wary; they will not use a Tailed Beast unless in a dire emergency..."

This matter is inseparable from Lian Ye.

"Fine, remember to inform me at the first moment if there's news." Lian Ye was somewhat helpless.

Bu Lu Bi, after all, is an Eight-tailed jinchuriki, yet on the battlefield he turned into a turtle.

If he keeps hiding, how can he report to Ban Daye?

If it really doesn't work, we can only infiltrate the Cloud Hidden Village garrison to take a look.

"Bad news, Zhi Qi Guan Da Ren!"

The ninja responsible for relaying the frontline, with an anxious expression, entered the tent.

"Second Generation Raikage, Third Generation Water Shadow, Third Generation Earth Shadow have appeared on the battlefield, and are now fighting Shanjiaoyu Banzang!"

"What?!" Nairan Benhe's expression instantly became solemn.

He knows Shanjiaoyu Banzang's Poison Mist threatens ninjas from other ninja villages.

The three Kage teaming up clearly aim to kill Banzang!

Although Shanjiaoyu Banzang is a Shadow-level Strongman, facing the three Kage at once is certainly dangerous!

"Renya Jonin, go to support immediately and be sure to rescue Shanjiaoyu Banzang."

Rain Hidden Village and Konoha are allied, and cannot let the enemy attack an ally.

Lian Ye, upon hearing this, did not hesitate; his figure vanished from the camp in an instant.

Nairan Benhe, seeing this, did not lower his guard, and said to the ninja delivering the intel.

"Immediately inform Yuanfei Rizhan and Uchiha Jing, and have them go support Renya Jonin and Banzang!"

Three against two, Konoha does not have the advantage.

He knows Lian Ye is powerful, but doesn't know exactly how strong.

To be safe, call in two more people.

After all, battlefield conditions change in an instant, and no one knows what will happen next second.

Being cautious is not wrong.

Rain Country, on the frontline battlefield.

The sky seemed forever shrouded by pale gray clouds and continuous rain. The ground was muddy, littered with craters from Ninjutsu bombardments and the corrosive marks of Poison Mist.

At the battlefield's center, an uneven fight unfolds.

Shanjiaoyu Banzang is now locked in an unprecedented fierce battle, his sickle constantly swinging, while his Spirit Beast Salamander spews deadly toxins.

But all this, under the joint assault of the three Shadow-level Strongmen, appears disjointed.

Second Generation Raikage pushes LightningStyleChakraMode to the limit, like blue lightning, speed so fast the naked eye can barely track it.

His repeated furious charges, fists wrapped in lightning, can split mountains and crack stones, forcing Banzang to fully dodge or block, greatly limiting his movement.

Third Generation Water Shadow manipulates Water Release, and Rain Country's terrain greatly amplifies his Water Release Ninjutsu.

Or rather, this environment is most suitable for Mist Hidden Ninja.

The powerful Water Release Ninjutsu not only deals massive damage, but also continuously washes and dilutes the Poison Mist released by the Salamander, greatly weakening the toxin.

The most lethal threat comes from the Third Generation Earth Shadow Da Ye Mu floating in the air.

"Dust Release: Primordial World Peeling!"

Each time it forces Banzang to abandon his great advantage and execute extreme dodges at maximum speed, creating constant peril.

"Earth Shadow, was I your target just now?"

Third Generation Water Shadow's face turned ashen as he looked at the Da Ye Mu in the sky.

If he hadn't dodged in time, he would probably have been hit by Dust Release.

He has reason to suspect Da Ye Mu acted deliberately!

"Earth Shadow, stop using Dust Release, it's terrifying." Second Generation Raikage said discontentedly.

In the end, they are only cooperating temporarily; there is no bond whatsoever among the three.

If Da Ye Mu resorts to a hidden move, the two of them are doomed.

"You two, stop the chatter!" Da Ye Mu's forehead veins bulged as he roared, "Finish off Salamander Banzang!"

If he had any crooked thoughts, the two would have already been dispatched by a single Dust Release.

Where can we still argue and bicker with him here?

Salamander Banzang gasped violently; his poison is powerful, but under the assault of three Shadow-level Strongmen it has little effect.

His chakra is depleting rapidly, and the wounds on his body keep increasing.

Salamander Banzang let out a painful scream, his massive body covered with lightning scorch marks and Water Release cuts.

"Banzang, meet your death! Your resistance is meaningless!"

The Second Generation Raikage's body surged with Lightning Chakra Surge.

"Your toxin has little effect before my Water Release."

The Third Generation Water Shadow manipulates a water sphere, enveloping the Poison Mist within.

Da Ye Mu says nothing, merely brings his hands together again, and powerful Dust Release begins to coalesce in his palms.

Salamander Banzang's pupils suddenly contract, sensing the threat of death.

Just as Da Ye Mu was about to unleash Dust Release, a Kunai whizzed toward him at extreme speed.

He instantly sidestepped the Kunai's attack.

"Wait, haven't I seen this scene somewhere before?"

In the distance, Uchiha Lianye still held the pose of throwing a Kunai, a pair of crimson Three Tomoe Sharingan calmly watching himself.

Immediately, his figure vanished from the spot, and when he reappeared, he was already behind Da Ye Mu.

"You think the same technique can fool me twice?"

"Dust Release: Primordial World Peeling!"

Da Ye Mu spun sharply, a flash of white light as a Dust Release beam surged toward Lian Ye.

"Bang"

Lian Ye behind him turned into smoke and vanished.

—Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!

Lian Ye's true form now appears before Salamander Banzang, and a single person blocks the attacks of both Water Shadow and Raikage.

"I thought you wouldn't appear on the Battlefield."

The Second Generation Raikage and Third Generation Water Shadow cast uneasy looks at the long‑haired man before them.

They failed to kill Salamander Banzang before Lian Ye arrived.
