Chapter 489: As Expected of Ban!

"Kid, you'll soon understand how foolish it is to stop me from carrying out the Moon's Eye plan!"

Madara Uchiha gazed at the wrecked cavern and murmured softly.

Then he formed a seal to summon the Outsider Demon Statue again, using it to keep his bodily functions from further decline.

After recovering for a while, he will head to Konoha to capture the Nine-Tails.

Even knowing that the Nine-Tails' host is Hashirama's wife, Madara Uchiha will not abandon the Capture and Seize Tail Beast mission.

In the face of the Moon's Eye plan, anyone can be discarded.

Moreover, the Outsider Demon Statue need not fully absorb a Tailed Beast's chakra; absorbing a portion suffices.

If Hashirama were perceptive, he could preserve Xuanwo Mizuto's life.

"Hashirama, true peace in the Ninja World will be inaugurated by me!"

Madara Uchiha said this and slowly closed his eyes.

He couldn't help recalling the scene where the two discussed how to end the wars and bring peace to the Ninja World…

Hashirama's plan failed; now we can only watch his plan.

Although Lian Ye had warned that the Moon's Eye plan had many flaws, he remained convinced that the Stone Tablet's contents were correct.

That kid simply refuses to acknowledge it.

You'll never wake a pretended sleeper; in Ban Daye's view, Hashirama and Lian Ye are such people.

Ignorant and complacent.

Facing such a person, all you need is to let them see the day the plan succeeds.

Only the last two Tailed Beasts remain; achieving Ninja World peace is just around the corner!

Looking forward to that day's arrival.

Konoha Village, Hashirama Residence.

"Ban, has he captured the Six-Tails yet?" Hashirama's expression grew solemn.

That means only the deceased Three-Tails and the Nine-Tails inside Mito remain.

In any case, we must not let him gather all Nine Tailed Beasts.

Whether it's protecting his wife's safety or simply not wanting Ban Daye to enact the World Destruction Plan.

He cannot let his close friend succeed!

"Why wasn't I informed of such an important matter in advance?!"

Qianshou Feijian scowled at Lian Ye and said irritably.

If that kid had earlier told him Madara Uchiha's purpose for capturing the Tailed Beasts, he would have killed the Six-Tails long ago.

The reason he didn't was that he hadn't clarified the specific use of the Tailed Beasts…

"Madara Uchiha is watching closely; if I pass on intel, he'll definitely alert the enemy."

Lian Ye awkwardly scratched his head, trying to defend himself.

In fact he wasn't lying; White Absolute Surveillance had been monitoring him secretly, and as long as he dared to inform Qianshou Feijian of the truth.

He had just said the first part when Ban Daye already knew the truth in the next breath…

Moreover, he had his own selfish motives, wanting to resolve the Moon's Eye plan his way, then bring Ban Daye back to the village for retirement.

Then inherit Ban Daye's estate.

Unfortunately, Lian Ye underestimated Madara Uchiha's strength, not expecting that the seventy-year-old Ban Daye still possessed great power.

In the end, the plan failed, and Ban captured the Six-Tails.

Madara Uchiha was no fool; he had long noticed Lian Ye's issues, so the moment he awakened the Rinnegan, he summoned the Outsider Demon Statue to slow his body's aging.

If he hadn't done so, Lian Ye might indeed have succeeded.

Qianshou Feijian, after hearing Lian Ye's explanation, ceased further blaming him.

Madara Uchiha is innately evil and cunning; it's normal that Lian Ye can't outplay him.

It seems he must be the one to stop Madara Uchiha!

Since Konoha's founding, he has devoted himself to developing Ninjutsu to counter the Uchiha Clan.

He thought there would be no chance to use it, but unexpectedly it proved useful within his lifetime.

Madara Uchiha, born evil, I will now personally end your sinful life!

"Kid, what exact abilities does Madara Uchiha's awakened Rinnegan have?" Qianshou Feijian suddenly asked.

To deal with Madara Uchiha, one must know his trump card.

Having spent so much time with that guy, Lian Ye certainly knows the general abilities of Madara Uchiha's eyes and his current physical condition.

As they age, their physical states deteriorate sharply; there's no reason Madara Uchiha could stay at his peak.

Even if he possesses the legendary Rinnegan, it still cannot alter his declining condition.

If the plan is coordinated properly, they can still defeat Ban!

"His Rinnegan possesses…"

Lian Ye enumerated the Rinnegan's abilities in detail.

Knowing intel before battle is crucial; otherwise being killed by an information gap would be an irrecoverable loss.

Having intel doesn't guarantee victory, but at least one won't be slain by a baffling technique.

The other abilities are fine; Rinbo: Hengoku must be explained in detail!

This skill is too otherworldly.

Even if known, there is no effective counter; they can only be told to prepare mentally in advance.

To avoid being caught off guard later.

"Ban's Rinnegan is so powerful!" Hashirama couldn't help praising.

If Madara Uchiha had the Rinnegan in the Battle of the Valley of the End, he'd be tough enough to win.

"Big brother, we're discussing strategies, not getting tangled over who's stronger!"

Qianshou Feijian was almost driven to death by big brother's bizarre train of thought.

Just as Madara Uchiha was about to strike, big brother still had the mind to compliment Madara's eyes.

I was already annoyed by Madara's abilities, and big brother still pulls this...

Don't you know this is a very serious matter?

"Sorry about that, I couldn't help myself," Hashirama awkwardly scratched his head and said weakly.

I'm truly amazed by my close friend's change; in just a few short years apart, they've awakened new power.

Truly worthy of Madara!

It's just a pity he's now incapacitated; otherwise I'd spar with my close friend.

"Tuan Cang, inform everyone: Konoha is entering wartime alert status."

After a moment of thought, Qianshou Feijian issued the first order.

"If there is any wind or movement, be sure to notify me immediately."

"Yes, Teacher Feijian!"

Zhi Cun Tuan Zang hesitated not at all and immediately sent someone to convey the order.

"Ri Zhan, Xiaochun, Mirror, Gate Flame, from this moment you are the guards of the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki; you must ensure her safety!"

Immediately after, Qianshou Feijian gave the second command.

"Understood, Teacher Feijian!" the four said in unison.

A series of arrangements poured from Qianshou Feijian's mouth, and Konoha Village's ninja patrolled the streets.

The surrounding Senju Clan Land was further filled with countless Elite Jonin stationed.

Not even a single fly could get in.

"Feijian, what should I do?" Hashirama asked curiously.

"Big brother, you don't need to do anything; just stay by big sister's side."

Qianshou Feijian gave big brother a deep look and said slowly.

He is betting that, at the right time, big brother can persuade Madara Uchiha to abandon the Moon's Eye plan.

The two have lived together for over a decade; it's impossible they have no feelings at all.

Given their relationship, big brother has a chance to stop Madara.

"Kid, follow me."

After finalizing the plan, Qianshou Feijian led Lian Ye back home.
