Chapter 481

"It seems my guess was correct!"

"Long Jie became an Amazon right here in this medical department."

Su Tian said in a low voice, then looked at Yu and asked:

"Can you estimate exactly how many there are?"

If an Amazon were to exist by Su Tian's side,

Su Tian could generally sense that its aura was different from a human's,

while Yu seemed able to smell the scent of an Amazon,

which was a different method of sensing than Su Tian's.

"I can't."

Yu shook his head, then added:

"But the scent of the Amazons is coming from the second floor,"

"Most of them should be upstairs!"

Upstairs?

Isn't that where Zhang Ningnian is?

"Then let's go up!"

Su Tian was the first to step into the elevator.

Although it was only two floors, for the sake of some patients unable to move,

the medical department was still equipped with an elevator.

Ye Sanqi, Yu, and Fukuda followed him into the elevator.

When the elevator arrived at the second floor,

and the elevator doors opened,

Su Tian and the others saw Zhang Ningnian at the elevator entrance.

"Captain Ye? What's wrong? Is someone injured?"

Upon seeing Ye Sanqi, Zhang Ningnian was stunned for a moment,

then asked.

Ye Sanqi did not answer, but looked at Yu.

"He is not an Amazon!"

Yu spoke first, confirming Zhang Ningnian's human identity.

Immediately after, Ye Sanqi looked at Su Tian.

Seeing Su Tian also nod in confirmation, he felt slightly relieved.

The last thing Ye Sanqi wanted to see

was Zhang Ningnian, who had treated him many times, turning into an Amazon.

"Amazon? Captain Ye, what are you talking about?"

"How could I possibly be an Amazon?"

"But speaking of which, that new recruit in your Extermination Squad..."

Before Zhang Ningnian could finish, he was pulled into the elevator by Ye Sanqi.

"I'll tell you the details later."

"Fukuda, you take Dr. Zhang down first, go to the Extermination Mission Hall!"

As he spoke, Ye Sanqi left Fukuda and Zhang Ningnian in the elevator,

while he, Su Tian, and Yu stepped out.

The reason for doing this

was first to ensure Zhang Ningnian's safety,

and the second reason was that although Zhang Ningnian's human identity was confirmed,

it could not be guaranteed that he was unrelated to the matter of turning Long Jie into an Amazon,

after all, Zhang Ningnian was the main physician of the medical department.

So letting Fukuda go down with Zhang Ningnian

was also a way for Fukuda to keep an eye on Zhang Ningnian for the time being.

As a long-time partner, Fukuda naturally understood Ye Sanqi's meaning.

He nodded and took Zhang Ningnian back to the first floor.

"This way!"

After Fukuda and Zhang Ningnian left,

Su Tian walked forward,

with Yu and Ye Sanqi following.

They didn't walk far before the three of them arrived at a room door.

On the door of this room was a sign that read 'Medicine Room'.

The Medicine Room, a room the medical department usually used to store medicine.

Su Tian sensed a very thick Amazon aura inside.

Without much hesitation, Su Tian kicked the door open.

"Who is it?"

The moment the door was kicked open, someone inside exclaimed in shock.

Su Tian and the others looked closely

and discovered that in this medicine room, there were more than ten men dressed in white,

and in the middle of this group of men, there was also a woman.

"Susan Heizi!"

"It seems it really is you."

Su Tian's mouth curled up slightly as he revealed the woman's identity.

It was indeed the Susan Heizi he had met yesterday.

Su Tian clearly remembered

that when he met Zhang Ningnian and Susan Heizi yesterday,

Zhang Ningnian intended to have Susan Heizi help treat Long Jie.

Since that was the case, it was very likely that Susan Heizi was the one who turned Long Jie into an Amazon.

"But... why is there no Amazon aura on her?"

A flash of doubt crossed Su Tian's mind,

but then he thought, perhaps the other party had some special ability

that could mask her Amazon aura.

"Captain Ye? What are you doing here?"

"The Medicine Room cannot be entered at will."

There was not a hint of panic on Susan Heizi's face;

instead, she questioned Ye Sanqi.

However, Su Tian keenly noticed

that when Susan Heizi cast her gaze upon him and Yu,

a strange look flashed through her pupils.

"What now?"

This sentence was originally what Ye Sanqi wanted to say,

but Yu said it first.

Yu and Ye Sanqi both looked at Su Tian.

Su Tian understood Yu's concerns.

Under Yu's sensing, Susan Heizi should also have a human aura,

which was why Yu was asking Su Tian.

"Even if she isn't an Amazon, she's in on it!"
