Chapter 817

Xun Lanyu's figure retreated violently,

while Su Tian pressed his advantage in pursuit.

In a scene invisible to the other monsters, Su Tian and Xun Lanyu fought for several rounds.

In just these few short rounds,

Xun Lanyu's mindset shifted from initial confidence to final dread.

Xun Lanyu also knew that if the battle continued,

she would die at Su Tian's hands,

so the thought of fleeing arose.

"So the true form is an Earthworm Orphnoch,"

Su Tian glanced at the bottomless pit ahead,

which was the direction in which Xun Lanyu had fled.

Then, Su Tian looked at the belt in his hand;

it was the Delta belt.

This belt had been discarded by Xun Lanyu.

At the time, Xun Lanyu knew that for Su Tian,

her life was far less important than the Delta belt.

Or rather, not just for Su Tian, but for other Kamen Riders as well.

Thus, Xun Lanyu decisively unbuckled her belt and threw it toward Su Tian,

then transformed into an Earthworm Orphnoch and burrowed into the ground.

Facing the Delta belt coming toward him, Su Tian naturally reached out and caught it.

What Su Tian hadn't expected, however, was that after Xun Lanyu burrowed into the ground,

her speed would actually increase significantly,

not much weaker even compared to Faiz's Axel Form.

"But the aura won't be cut off!"

"At least not until that distance!"

Although Xun Lanyu was now far away, Su Tian could still sense her lingering aura.

Following this aura, he could roughly determine the direction in which Xun Lanyu had left.

Whether it was because Xun Lanyu was underground,

or due to the enhanced sensory ability brought by the All-Rider Adaptation constitution,

following the direction of the aura, Su Tian could feel it was weaker in some places,

and stronger in others, much like waves.

This should be related to the depth Xun Lanyu reached after entering the ground;

once she reached a certain depth, he might not be able to sense her anymore.

But Xun Lanyu wouldn't know that Su Tian possessed sensory abilities,

so she didn't dive deeper downward.

Su Tian put away the Delta belt, then summoned the Machine Decader, intending to give chase,

when he suddenly noticed specks of starlight gathering on his right hand.

"This is... Delta's power?"

This scene was not unfamiliar to Su Tian;

he had seen it many times before.

However, in the past, it was only after killing the opponent that the corresponding cards and Ridewatches would condense.

Not long after, the Delta card and Ridewatch condensed in Su Tian's hand.

"So it seems that to obtain a Rider's power, it's not strictly necessary to kill the opponent."

"I just need to seize the belt or other transformation items?"

Su Tian felt slightly surprised;

after all, he had never encountered this before,

and in his conversations with Zhou Yefan, he had never heard Zhou Yefan mention it.

But thinking about it, it made sense;

after all, few people would willingly hand over the Rider power they had obtained.

Under normal circumstances, they would just kill them to seize the treasure.

Quickly putting away the Delta card and Ridewatch,

Su Tian rode the Machine Decader and chased after Xun Lanyu's aura.

Even though he had obtained Delta's power,

Su Tian did not intend to let Xun Lanyu leave just like that.

Xun Lanyu's status in the Monster House was not low;

she was, after all, a small squad leader.

By chasing her like this, he might be able to encounter some stronger existences,

or perhaps obtain some important information. ===== CHAPTER 818 =====
