Chapter 16: Global Experience (Two Chapters Released Together, Please Follow)

Robin lies again on the carriage carrying the wounded, and as the carriage jolts his thoughts rise and fall.

After that thrilling battle his body is exhausted, but his heart is full of anticipation for the system.

He takes advantage of this rare leisure, quietly opens the System Panel, preparing to check his various attributes.

When the System Panel appears before his eyes, the data instantly fills him with delight.

He sees that the experience of each skill has increased more or less.

First-level Swordsmanship: sword attack power increased by ten percent, Experience: 25/2000

First Rank Hand-to-Hand: close‑combat attack power increased by ten percent, Experience: 15/2000

Basic Archery: no effect, Experience: 10/200

Earth Dragon Breathing Method: accelerates life recovery, Apprentice Level Experience: 351/1000

Global Experience: 13

What surprises Robin most is the "Earth Dragon Breathing Method", a skill that speeds life recovery; its Apprentice Level experience has reached "351/1000", adding nearly twenty points.

He knows that even if he doesn't rest and keeps focusing on cultivating the Breathing Method, at normal speed it would take two days to achieve such growth.

"Sure enough, battle is the fastest way to gain experience," Robin mutters, then after a moment sighs helplessly, "The risk of battle is too great; this time I almost died."

He still feels a lingering chill recalling the fierce clash with the Modified Giant Python and the Black-robed Wizard.

Then Robin gets a sudden idea and tries to allocate the Global Experience "13" into points.

When he adds one point to "First-level Swordsmanship", the Experience Bar instantly becomes "26/2000"; he then adds a few points to "Earth Dragon Breathing Method", and its experience rises accordingly.

As expected, points can be added to any skill at will.

This discovery fills him with great joy, his eyes flashing with excitement.

He realizes this might become a major trump card for him.

In future dangers he can flexibly distribute Global Experience to quickly boost a skill, gaining an edge in combat.

So he does not lock in the allocations, but keeps the Global Experience for later.

Early the next morning, as the first light of dawn just spills over the camp, Robin is still half‑asleep when an urgent shout awakens him.

It turns out the Attendant of the Damia Great Knight Leader has come to deliver a summons; Robin snaps to full alert, a surge of tension and anticipation rising within him.

He quickly tidies his attire and follows the Attendant to the Grand Knight Leader's tent.

Stepping into the tent, Robin sees the Damia Great Knight Leader standing in the center, his expression solemn and dignified.

Seeing Robin enter, a faint grateful smile appears on the Grand Knight Leader's face. "Robin, this time your performance was excellent."

The Damia Great Knight Leader's voice is steady and powerful, full of praise, "After much consideration, I have applied to the lord for a bottle of Earth Dragon Apprentice Secret Medicine."

Hearing "Earth Dragon Apprentice Secret Medicine", Robin's eyes instantly light up.

He knows well the rarity of this medicine; it is the perfect aid for knights cultivating the Breathing Method, greatly increasing cultivation speed.

For a knight apprentice, it is a dream‑come‑true treasure.

Robin once heard Eric say that the Earth Dragon Apprentice Secret Medicine they need costs an absurd price on the black market—one bottle fetches 40 Gold Coins.

And ordinary knight apprentices earn only about 2 Gold Coins a month, so someone like Robin struggles to cover daily expenses.

After becoming a knight apprentice, daily food intake skyrockets, requiring large amounts of high‑calorie food to ensure enough energy.

Only high‑level knight apprentices like Silvan receive a few extra Silver Coins, but even then, saving enough for a bottle of the medicine seems far off.

Thinking of this, Robin feels both excitement and gratitude.

He promptly kneels on one knee, looks up at the Damia Great Knight Leader, and sincerely says, "Grand Knight Leader, thank you for your generosity and guidance; I will cherish this medicine, work hard, and not disappoint your expectations."

The Damia Great Knight Leader nods approvingly, picks up a delicate small bottle from the table beside him, and hands it to Robin, "This is your reward, and also my hope for your future; I hope you become an outstanding knight soon."

Robin takes the bottle with both hands, carefully places the bottle containing the Earth Dragon Apprentice Secret Medicine into his chest, as if cradling the most precious treasure in the world.

When Robin returns happily to his own barracks, he sees from afar Silvan, Dain and Camille standing outside the barracks, their faces unkindly awaiting him.

Robin's heart tightens, but he quickly steadies himself, knowing those three are certainly after the medicine.

Without any hesitation Robin walks straight to them, unscrews the bottle cap and, without a word, tilts his head back and drinks the medicine in one gulp.

The medicine enters with a warm sensation, flowing down his throat, instantly turning inside his body into a warm current that circulates throughout him.

Robin can feel this power resonating with his cultivated Earth Dragon Breathing Method, accelerating the flow of life energy.

After drinking, Robin deliberately tips the empty bottle toward the three, indicating it is finished.

Silvan's face instantly turns extremely sour; he stares dead at Robin, eyes full of anger and resentment, then slowly raises his thumb at Robin, gritting his teeth as he says, "You're good, I remember you."

Robin merely shrugs, his face showing a completely indifferent expression.

As long as he quickly cultivates the Earth Dragon Breathing Method experience to 400, he can advance to Knight Apprentice Midstage.

At that point his strength will surge, and even if Silvan wants to cause trouble, he'll have to think twice.

Moreover, in the eyes of the Malizi Knight, Robin is now a prized little nugget.

After this battle the Malizi Knight values his potential highly and has been eager to nurture him.

Even Fitz Knight favors him greatly, often trying to recruit him under his command.

Moreover, the Malizi Knight is upright and old‑fashioned, despising any fighting within the camp and absolutely forbids brawls inside the camp.

As long as he stays in the camp, Silvan cannot act against him even if he wants to.

Thinking of all this, Robin feels confident. He looks at Silvan and the others, calmly says, "If there's nothing else, please let me be; I want to rest."

Silvan and the others glance at each other, then finally snort coldly and turn away.

Back in his barracks, Robin eagerly sits cross‑legged, ready to devote his whole being to cultivating the Earth Dragon Breathing Method.

He knows the preciousness of this bottle of Earth Dragon Apprentice Secret Medicine and understands it is an excellent opportunity to boost his strength.

He slowly closes his eyes, adjusts his breathing, letting his mind gradually calm, as if all external clamor no longer concerns him.
