Chapter 682

LPL livestream room.

The bullet comments for this match were denser than any previous match, to the point where if you didn't turn off the bullet comments, you couldn't even see the pixels of a single livestream picture.

【VG Go! Crush the barbecue stall!】

【I never expected it, I really never expected it, VG actually ended up facing SKT hahaha!】

【Firrrrrre, Peanut, Faker, when these few IDs appear in the same match, that is a fated showdown】

【RNG beat LZ, now the pressure has come to VG's side. jpg】

【What a load of pressure, SKT's mid and jungle are just background boards for Jiao Shen's iconic moments!】

【Xiao Huasheng: howholdareyou!】

【If I were Xiao Huasheng, I'd get PTSD hahaha】

【I still have the picture of Peanut vomiting from last year's S6 finals; is there a sequel today?】

【Tears, Xiao Huasheng actually joined SKT to get revenge on Jiao Shen】

【However, SKT is also a defeated subordinate of Jiao Shen~】

【Faker: ban Mang Seng!】

At the same time, Wawa on the commentator bench was laughing and saying, 'Hey you guys, do you think SKT's first ban will really be Mang Seng?'

Wang Ji had no hesitation and was very excited: 'Definitely need to ban it! One kick that changes the world line, isn't that worth a ban slot? And I'm being serious, over this whole year, Faker has probably seen this ID countless times in his nightmares; if he now sees the same ID using the same champion, if it were me, I'd seriously say this match doesn't even need to be played—I couldn't even hold my mouse.'

Su Xiao Yan nodded, giving an intelligent smile, and said: 'Yes. But there's a problem now—it's not just Faker having nightmares; don't forget there's another person.'

"Peanut!"

"Hahaha, yes, Xiao Huasheng!"

Seeing her partner able to follow up on her joke, Su Xiao Yan became very happy, her smile widening, she nodded again and said: 'Yeah, last year's finals, Xiao Huasheng's Leopard Woman also got pretty badly beaten by Jiao Shen's Male Gun; she probably has some trauma, so I think Male Gun should also be banned.'

Wawa: 'But I remember this version's Male Gun doesn't seem that strong, right?'

Wang Ji: 'Indeed not strong; the current meta is rhythm jungling, Male Gun and Zed—these Wild Core champions aren't really viable, so normally there's no need to ban them.'

Su Xiao Yan: 'Then the situation isn't exactly normal, is it…'

"Alright! BP has started, let's switch the camera to the commentator desk!"

The livestream picture changed, the camera cut to the commentator desk, the faces of the three commentators appeared on screen, from left to right they were Miller, Chang Mao, and Guan Zeyuan.

"Welcome to game two, so let's cut the chatter—BP has already begun, and just now the three teachers on the commentator bench analyzed a lot, so let's take a look together!"

The match about to begin is very important and special in every sense, even Chang Mao's voice gained a bit more passion.

Guan Zeyuan continued: 'But don't say that, I think the three commentators on the bench are absolutely right—aside from anything else, this Mang Seng really should be banned, right? Because I feel that for teams like VG and SKT at this level, the things to consider on the BP are actually quite different from other teams; version strength isn't even their primary concern. Of course, this is just my personal opinion, and it might not be correct, but anyway, let's see—will SKT's first ban be Mang Seng… huh?!'

"Hahaha!!"

"You see, isn't it here now!!"

"Speak of the devil and he appears!!"

"SKT's first ban slot, sure enough, went to Mang Seng!!!"

When the blue side's first ban frame lit up with Mang Seng·Lee Qing's portrait, the venue exploded with a boom, and a huge uproar swept the entire arena.

At the same time, in the LPL livestream room, the bullet comment surge suddenly erupted, reaching an unprecedented level of density.

【!!!】

【This is the signature!!】

【Instant ban!!】

【Hahahahaha】

【As expected, but it feels really funny hahaha】

【It seems the psychological shadow from that kick in the S6 semifinals hasn't faded to this day】

Blind Monk banned, should the male gun also be banned?

One ban slot for Faker's mindset is steady; I think it's worth it.

The only man who can make SKT instantly ban Blind Monk.

Faker: 'That year, I felt the sensation of flying like a football.'

The camera cuts to the SKT players' bench.

Faker's face fills the screen, but his expression shows no disturbance, only calm.

Then the camera pulls back, revealing Kkoma coach standing behind Faker. Kkoma's expression is stern, lips tightly pressed, eyes fixed on the screen in front of Faker, appearing to be waiting for VG's move after their side finished banning.

Immediately after, the screen cuts to the VG players' bench; the camera enters from the side view of the top lane position, slowly moving right, showing that all five players are smiling, even Sima Laozei with a slight upturn of the mouth. Finally the frame freezes on player Firrrrrre, with VG coach Zhu Xiaolong holding a notebook standing behind him, the two exchanging something.

A few seconds later, VG's first ban is decided.

"Clockwork!"

"That's Faker's signature!"

"A man's reputation, a tree's shade—banning Clockwork is definitely right!"

"As expected, I'll say it: these two teams' bans/picks first look not at version strength, but at targeting players to ban!"

"If we ban Faker's Clockwork, we also need to consider Xiao Huasheng's Spider, with a win rate over 80% in the summer split, which is still quite scary."

"If Miller says that, it's wrong; our Jiao Shen's Spider still has a 100% win rate, and what we should really fear is SKT!"

"That's also true... cough, I was habitually putting ourselves in the LPL vs LCK perspective, forgetting that VG is not quite the same."

VG's first ban locked onto Clockwork; SKT obviously anticipated this, their second ban almost instantly locked.

"Zac!"

"Wow, instant lock, and the blue side proactively banned Zac!"

"SKT wouldn't be going for three bans on the jungle, would they? But Jiao Shen's champion pool... that wouldn't be useful."

"It's still useful; if Jiao Shen gets those strong champions, SKT will have a harder time fighting, and I think that's why Coach Kkoma chose to double-ban the jungle."

Oh, that makes sense.

The upcoming bans look dramatic yet expected.

SKT indeed did three bans in the jungle, the third ban gave the Spider!

VG also did three bans in mid lane, the second and third bans gave Galio and the Plane!

Then SKT first pick snatched, Rock Sparrow!
