Chapter 736: My Little Sister Is Very Cute

When Mystic pulled out a photo of his sister and showed it to the camera, the audience in the livestream and at the venue instantly erupted.

【Holy shit, brother-in-law!】

【My sister is so cute!】

【As everyone knows, Chen Shengjun is my long-lost brother-in-law】

【When Mystic earlier said he had a sister, I was thinking, this guy's looks are so high, his sister definitely isn't bad either……】

【Birds of a feather flock together—these genes are damn impressive】

【Sister = Mystic's Nanliang version, I can picture it now, hehe... hehehe...】

【Now VG has no choice but to throw the match】

【Even if VG throws the match, it won't help—WE placed third in spring, their points base is too thin, making it to finals won't guarantee a ticket】

【Ten thousand people's blood-written plea—let WE win the championship!】

【Mystic's sister is this cute—what about Jiao Shen's?】

【Jiao Shen is an orphan……】

【Jiao Shen has no sister but does have a secret girlfriend】

【What? Jiao Shen has a girlfriend?】

【Not necessarily a girlfriend, but lately when watching his stream he often suddenly picks up his phone to reply to messages, laughing lewdly~】

【To be fair, his sister really is cute……】

【Fortunately Fu Lan Duo, already seated in the player's bench, can't see this; otherwise, given his lewdness, she might take pity from a single word of Mystic and be unable to strike.】

【After the trash-talk MV ended, the commentators casually chatted a few more sentences following the chat's topic, then the big screen on site suddenly switched, displaying the BP interface for everyone to see.】

【"Alright, let's cut the chatter—second game's BP has already begun!"】

【Because the schedule is tight, the semifinals likewise have two matches per day, the players have been rotated, and the commentators obviously can't cast two Bo5s back‑to‑back—after all, their energy is limited.】

【The previous match's commentators were Chang Mao + Su Xiao Yan + Zhi Huan; at the start of this match, the commentators appearing in the livestream changed to Wawa + Wang Ji + Rita.】

【Miller and Guan Zeyuan, these two mainstays, are likely to appear only in the finals.】

【As for Wang Duo Duo, the newcomer who first appeared in the LPL earlier this period, left a deep impression on viewers and was dubbed the "Poet Commentator" by netizens, the summer split likely has no role for him, but if all goes as expected, he should show up in some less‑important matches of the S7 World Championship qualifiers and group stage.】

【"We also need to bring new viewers up to speed: you're watching the live broadcast of the 2017 LPL Summer Playoffs semifinals, and the first semifinal has already ended, with EDG coming from behind 2‑3 to defeat RNG and qualify first for the LPL Summer Finals. The match now underway is the second semifinal, VG versus WE, and the sole remaining finals spot will be decided in this Bo5 between the two teams."】

【Wawa lives up to being a veteran commentator—his opening remarks flowed smoothly, delivered in one breath without pause, but he's getting on in years and is a smoker, so after finishing he's already a little short of breath.】

【Wang Ji immediately picked up, speaking with full vigor: "That's right! In this match, VG, seated at the arena, won the first‑game side‑selection privilege and actively chose the blue side! Meanwhile, challenger WE was forced to take the red side! VG's first ban was the big‑mouth Kog'Maw that Mysitc excels at—cough, cough—and WE responded by banning, based on color, Shuijing Ge's sole forte, the attack‑speed AD Tristana!"】

【"Actually it's not the only one—you forgot Shuijing Ge's big mouth?" Rita pondered briefly, then spoke to correct Wang Ji.】

【Wang Ji immediately corrected himself: "Oh sorry, I missed that—correct! Shuijing Ge's big mouth is also played superbly; indeed, that very game of his big mouth led today's LPL playoffs crowd to start playing the incense‑burner meta!"】

【Rita opened her mouth as if to say more, but ultimately said nothing.】

【Wawa watched the screen—VG's second pick hadn't been locked yet—so he shifted to another topic: "Speaking of which, what do you two think of VG's lineup today?"】

【Wang Ji and Rita hadn't reacted yet; Wawa added, "Not the BP—I mean the player roster."】

【Today VG fielded Liang Yan + Easyhoon + Gangzi; Sima Laozei and the "thief‑thief" attitude sat backstage; Tian, meanwhile, was recalled to the second team to help because the lower league had also reached a crucial stage, so none of them appeared on site today.】

【"Oh... basically it's the full‑strength version of VG!" Wang Ji nodded.】

【Wawa teased Wang Ji: "You call that basic~"】

【Rita wasn't interested in this topic, just stared at the screen, then her eyes widened slightly as she exclaimed, "Huh, VG's second ban is Galio?"】

【The two turned their heads at once.】

【"Oh?!"】

【"Hiss, VG blue side banning Galio… why?"】

【"I also find it strange…"】

【Behind the WE players, Homme paced with his hands behind his back, and he actually had some guesses as to why VG actively banned Galio.】

【The playoffs use patch 7.16, in which Galio was nerfed again: his R cooldown when the hero appears at skill levels 1 and 2 is increased by 20 and 10 seconds respectively, while the damage‑reduction buff he grants allies from the skill's second and third levels was cut—5% at level 2, 10% at level 3—effectively nerfing both early and late game; stacked with the 7.13 nerfs, Galio's inherent champion strength is now insufficient to keep him viable, since his wave‑clear efficiency is already far worse than before, making it basically impossible to expect him to contribute anything to the jungle or side lanes ten minutes in.】

【According to Homme's study of VG, in their system Galio's role is purely a support utility, and now he has lost most of that ability, so his priority naturally dropped considerably for VG.】

【However, if Galio is used purely as a pressure‑resistant champion, his lane‑holding ability against mids‑lane mages remains extremely strong!】

【VG's active ban on Galio likely means they want to field a "big law" core mid laner!】

【Having suffered several big losses at VG's hands, Homme often reminds himself to avoid guessing VG's BP intentions when matching wits with them in the pick‑and‑ban phase; yet on some very clear lines of thought he remains confident in his analysis.】

【Because VG's intentions have become so obvious that even the players can see them.】

【At this moment Xi Ye said, "Coach, they seem to be going for Syndra."】
