Chapter 87: It's him again!
15 minutes, the kill score is six to zero.
Economically, FNC is behind by about 3,500.
It looks like they're about to collapse, but they haven't collapsed completely; it seems there's still a slight chance to turn things around.
"Kikis and Rekkles have each died twice, so they can't be relied on; if FNC wants to turn the tide, all hope rests on this Shah."
"Yes, but because he bought magic penetration boots first, he still hasn't finished his first major item, Nashor's Tooth."
"But he's already the best-developed player among FNC's three lanes."
Just as the commentators finished speaking, Shah's avatar on the minimap suddenly drifted forward, almost overlapping with Perkz's Viktor avatar.
The camera immediately cut to it.
Then everyone witnessed Shah whiffing his ultimate.
"The fight started! It looked like both sides were low on health, and Febiven was the first to act with killing intent, trying to catch Perkz before his double summon could finish, aiming to instantly kill him, but he made a fatal error in judging the distance!"
"After the Imperial Guard's Wall was pushed back, Perkz retaliated with a gravity field, chaotic storm, death ray, and lifesteal energy, almost instantly draining Febiven's health!"
"However, Febiven still had a sliver of health and wasn't dead yet; he thought he could still save himself, so after breaking crowd control he immediately flashed away, but then Perkz finished him off with a single basic attack!"
"The Shah's corpse was being washed in the chaotic storm, and his soul was simultaneously purified by lightning power! Wow! Febiven! Nice flash relocation!"
The European commentators have always been this cheeky, so it remains a mystery why they haven't been killed by anyone yet.
AP let out a goose-like laugh in everyone's headphones, utterly delighted; after pushing the lane he was about to retreat under the tower to recall, when suddenly two red gear circles appeared under his feet, and at the same time a thin-as-hair aiming trajectory extended far into the distance—AP's goose laugh instantly turned into a startled shout:
"NO! Help! Helpme!"
With a loud bang, the aiming marker suddenly disappeared; AP switched over to look, and far away the enemy marksman who had been aiming turned entirely into a golden statue.
Immediately after, a golden slide spanned the entire right-side river wall of the mid lane, three tumbling balls rolled over, and upon landing they turned into three fierce, burly men.
Who goes there?!
It turned out to be the three bottom-jungle players who had somehow become like conjoined twins; after taking down FNC's bottom turret, they swept through the lower jungle, clearing all its resources, and were about to recall together when they saw the fight breaking out in mid lane and rushed over—but before they arrived, AP had already killed the enemy; immediately after, the marksman emerged from the fog and wrapped her ultimate around AP's head. Mithy was loyal, directly throwing his just‑ready ultimate to freeze the marksman and save AP's life.
Then the three of them rode Bard's slide over and surrounded the marksman.
At the same time, Jinx surged out from behind the marksman.
On the enemy river, Rek'Sai appeared as well; simultaneously a wave of blue minions arrived at the tower, and a red light appeared on one of the minions.
"Kikis used teleport!"
"Everyone on FNC has united! We swear to protect Rekkles to the death!"
Liang Yan felt it was rather abrupt.
This was an angle for initiating a team fight that he had never imagined.
But since they want to fight, let's fight!
Although we're missing a big tree (teleport not ready), the enemy isn't some mid‑game powerhouse, so there's no reason to fear a 4v4.
Unfortunately, none of the three of us have hard crowd control (Bard's Q only slows the first target it hits, no stun), and AP's Viktor, being too low on health to approach, couldn't suppress the marksman's rise.
As her skirt fluttered, the marksman used the knockback from the 90mm Rope Net to blast herself backward, returning to her teammates' embrace; however, in that brief moment she appeared, she took a barrage of skills and basic attacks, landing with less than half her health.
The chaotic team fight erupted instantly, and Liang Yan's Olaf led the charge by unleashing Twilight of the Gods.
At this point it was about momentum, not details; Liang Yan didn't bother dodging skills, he plowed forward through a mess of flashy effects and swung his double axes at Katarina's face.
This game Liang Yan took a Molten‑Grass Jungle Blade, and besides a few other stat‑boosting pieces his tankiness was very high, but Olaf's hero role isn't a pure tank, so under the focus fire of the four enemies his health still dropped quickly.
After holding out for about five or six seconds, Liang Yan's health was nearly depleted.
But our side's firepower was stronger; AP noticed no one was coming to dive him, so he hid in the back and tossed skills, and with the 4‑0 Mother Wheel's strong output, three of the enemies were already low on health and began retreating toward the tower.
Originally, at this point Liang Yan could have survived by retreating; although he was low on health, the enemies had expended their abilities, so basic attacks alone couldn't kill him.
But if he retreated, his teammates would likely lack the confidence to follow up.
So Liang Yan didn't retreat; he picked up an axe from the ground and smashed it forward, continuing his all‑out charge.
In the end he certainly couldn't survive, but his teammates had a great time.
Adding the earlier Shah kill, this wave G2 ended up trading one for four, with only Spirit's Rek'Sai surviving.
"Spirit! It's him again!"
As a frontline warrior whose role is to initiate fights, at the end of the team fight Rek'Sai still had over half his health! The commentators couldn't take it and burst out complaining:
"Why! Tell me, why is it always him who runs away first!! Spirit's team fighting is just terrible!!"
"There's nothing we can do; he's already scared stiff."
"No, who scared him? How did he get scared stiff?! In this match FNC has been focusing on Kikis and Rekkles the whole time—who would be targeting him?"
"Emmm… indeed."
"He's just a coward! He is! a coward!"
In the venue, about half the audience are FNC fans; the commentators are already worked up, let alone the fans, so the whole arena is filled with the angry roars of FNC supporters.
Meanwhile, in the official match broadcast chat, the barrage is already a wall of insults.
"Coward! Get out of FNC!"
"After watching matches for so many years, I've never seen such a coward!"
"Is he really the jungler from Three Star Blue? I don't believe it—he's terrible!"
"If the two junglers swapped identities, it would be normal—Firrrrrre would seem more like someone from that invincible team, while Spirit would look like a rookie just starting out."
"Stop scolding him; if you keep yelling, he'll dig a tunnel straight from the player bench back to the base."
"Really? I want to see that!"
"Good news, FNC finally got a kill—although it looks like Firrrrrre intentionally gave it to them."
