Chapter 440

Gu Xuan used a Dodge,

avoiding that point of damage,

at the same time, the 【Nine Expeditions】 mark also changed to six points!

Seeing this,

the Boundary Sun Shangxiang player felt quite helpless,

among the cards drawn later, there were simply no Strategy cards at all,

otherwise,

she would have definitely used it on Gu Xuan.

After equipping the Rattan Armor,

during the Discard Phase,

the Boundary Sun Shangxiang player looked at Gu Xuan, then glanced at her own hand, completely baffled,

because she discovered,

she currently held four cards in her hand,

and she had to discard at least one,

once she discarded it,

wouldn't that just benefit Gu Xuan again?

However,

not discarding was not an option!

With three health points, she could only retain three cards,

if she didn't choose to discard now, when the Discard Phase ended,

the Game Space would randomly discard her cards!

"What a shameless skill!"

the Boundary Sun Shangxiang player couldn't help but grit her teeth,

this so-called 【Heavenly Assignment】 mark stacks way too easily!

When the Boundary Sun Shangxiang discarded a Spade Slash,

the 【Heavenly Assignment】 mark on Gu Xuan,

increased by one point again,

now, it had reached five points!

With just one more point,

he could increase his maximum health and draw cards!

It was the turn of Lu Xun in position five,

he glanced at the Boundary Sun Shangxiang in position four,

then looked at the Boundary Guan Yu in position six,

"Boundary Sun Shangxiang is a Rebel, Boundary Guan Yu..."

"I can't quite guess,"

but judging by his expression when Gu Xuan attacked Boundary Huang Gai just now, he was probably a Rebel too?

The Lu Xun player rubbed his chin with his right hand,

he was also a Rebel,

but he had no weapon nor a minus-one horse, so he couldn't reach anyone,

after thinking for a moment,

the Lu Xun player decided to recast an Iron Chain, to see if he could get lucky and draw cards,

just as the Iron Chain entered the discard pile,

"Heaven and Earth work together, why worry that the Han Dao will not prosper!"

010 The electronic sound rang out again,

the 【Heavenly Assignment】 mark on Gu Xuan had reached six points!

In the next instant, the six-point mark was removed,

Gu Xuan's maximum health became seven,

then, he drew two more cards!

Seeing this, the Lu Xun player,

couldn't help but be dumbfounded,

"I just recast an Iron Chain,"

"and you can still stack marks from that?!!"

At first, others stacked marks by discarding cards,

later, using a Slash during a Southern Man Duel also stacked marks, but using a Slash against a person didn't stack marks.

"What exactly are the trigger conditions for this skill to stack marks, increase maximum health, and draw cards?"

He couldn't understand,

he truly couldn't understand.

"I'm not clear on the specific trigger conditions,"

"but the effect of this skill is only slightly stronger in the first few rounds."

Just at this moment,

The Player Guan Yu in Slot Six, who had been observing Gu Xuan all along,

looked at Gu Xuan with an expression that seemed to have seen through everything,

and spoke rationally, analyzing slowly:

"This skill of his actually requires the number of Marks to match the maximum Stamina limit; in that case,"

"it will remove an equal number of Marks, convert them into one point of maximum Stamina, and draw two cards!"

"This skill looks awesome when the maximum Stamina is low in the early game."

"But once the maximum Stamina builds up later, stacking it becomes very difficult... actually, its strength is just so-so."

A high Health limit isn't the same as having lots of Health,

and there are only so many Peaches in the deck in total,

so there's no way Gu Xuan could suddenly draw a hand

that restores all his Stamina at once!

Restore all stamina!

this skill is quite useless,

at best counting as a plus version of Hua Xiong.

After the maximum Stamina increases,

the card-drawing effect is greatly diminished in the late game.

Without offensive capability, he's just a big Health tank,

nothing more than the difference of landing a few extra slashes.

It's just a matter of killing with a few more slashes.
