Chapter 545

also gave a thumbs-up,

quietly waiting for Jie Zhangfei to perform.

…………

In the livestream room,

the other players now also saw Jie Zhangfei's hand,

"Holy crap, this much killing intent—four Kill cards and one Wine?"

"I remember Jie Zhangfei's skill lets him force-hit and add damage if the target plays a Jink, right? Huang Yueying still has a Jink over there—if they coordinate, they can deal at least three damage, right?!"

"Three damage is nothing—big shot's general just drew four cards, and who knows, he might have some out-of-turn defensive skill too?"

"Strong out-of-turn defense is useless! Jie Zhangfei is basically the same as Jie Machao—he can lock down a target's skills!"

"Damn! Isn't big shot about to crash and burn??"

"Big shot has six cards in hand now, two Peaches—even if he loses three HP, he can pull himself right back, right?"

"The peasant still has teammate Huang Yueying—maybe they can burst down in one turn?"

…………

Play phase,

the Jie Zhangfei player first glanced at the new transformation skill 【Hand Talk】 on his general card.

He had never seen this general Lu Yi before,

so he still had to observe what this skill did first,

"Transformation Skill (Yang): limited to once during the play phase, discard one non-black card from your hand."

"???" The Jie Zhangfei player immediately found it funny,

"No way, a skill that makes you discard a card after using it—would anyone really be dumb enough to use it on purpose?"

The Jie Zhangfei player looked at Gu Xuan,

feeling quite amused in his heart,

this landlord's chosen general Lu Yi was purely here for laughs,

a transformation skill was something he decided whether to use or not,

once used it would switch to the other 【Yin】 state,

but who would be stupid enough to willingly use a discarding skill like this!

He wasn't some big sucker—why would he throw away his own cards for no reason?

"Heh."

"If this skill were mandatory, it would at least have some power."

The Jie Zhangfei player looked at Gu Xuan, his expression teasing,

this kind of skill that purely tricks idiots,

how could he fall for it?

…………

"Ah, so big shot's transformation skill is actually just like this?"

"Feels like…the power level is a bit lacking, wouldn't it be better if it were a mandatory skill?"

"Right, a transformation skill that makes you discard cards and switch states—who would willingly use it?"

"This shouldn't count as a negative skill, right?"

"I need to look again—what if this skill has other effects? And I saw big shot use it last turn too, he didn't discard any cards himself."

…………

After the Jie Zhangfei player finished reading the 【Hand Talk】 skill,

he did not use it,

he faced the Huang Yueying player,

preparing to play a Kill, letting his teammate coordinate with him to fulfill the Jink requirement of the 【Fierce Valor】 skill,

however,

when Huang Yueying gave an OK gesture,

Jie Zhangfei drew a Kill, preparing to use it,

but discovered,

Huang Yueying's general card and Lu Yi's general card suddenly turned black!

"Hm? What's going on?"

The Jie Zhangfei player's heart jolted,

why,

couldn't he choose these two people as targets for his card?!!
