Chapter 556: Ranked Match, Arsonist!

Gu Xuan had not yet had a chance to speak to the audience in the live stream,

when a blinding white light flashed,

and he was dragged back into the 2v2 general selection space by the game space.

Gu Xuan turned his gaze to the general selection box for this match,

【Divine Zhou Yu, Guo Jia, Guan Yu, Border Sun Jian, Sun Ce, Diao Chan, Border Li Ru, Border Zhao Yun, Border Sima Yi, Wang Can.】

Before he had time to think about what to play,

he heard a light "thud" from his side,

it was that his teammate had already selected a general.

"Divine Zhou Yu?"

Gu Xuan looked at the general his teammate had chosen,

and pondered slightly in his heart.

This general is quite good for ranked matches; it has some strength,

but it is not very stable.

Mainly because in ranked matches, you cannot draw cards,

and Divine Zhou Yu finds it very hard to draw four cards of different suits at the start.

Thus, it is difficult to trigger Great Enterprise Flame.

Moreover, even if Great Enterprise Flame is triggered, while taking out one player,

one will also perish.

However,

using Small Enterprise Flame at the start combined with the sound of the zither triggered by discarding cards,

is still very potent.

Of course, the premise is that the opponent does not have Destroy Bridge in hand and does not touch Divine Zhou Yu's cards.

Gu Xuan glanced at the remaining generals.

The game space was the same as usual;

ranked matches did not provide any powerful underworld generals.

The only two epic generals were

Border Li Ru and Wang Can...

neither of which can be considered generals that decide the outcome of the match.

While he was thinking,

his teammate Xiao Peng on the side noticed Gu Xuan's hesitation.

He reached out and patted Gu Xuan's shoulder.

"Rest assured, I have a Divine General here,"

"You just pick any general; I will definitely carry you to victory this round!"

The tone of these words was very arrogant,

making Gu Xuan's eyebrows twitch repeatedly.

He looked at Xiao Peng beside him,

only to see the latter raise his head,

with incomparable confidence on his face,

even to the point of blind arrogance...

Gu Xuan's eyelid twitched,

and a bad feeling arose spontaneously.

How did he feel that

the teammate matched for this round

was a bit off...

He nodded perfunctorily.

Afterwards,

Gu Xuan still decided to choose Border Li Ru.

For this ranked match,

their positions were not very good.

The teammate was in the second position, and Gu Xuan was in the third position.

If the teammate had Border Li Ru and played Border Li Ru in the second position,

this round would be much more stable for promotion.

But with this current general selection box,

there were no other generals available to form a combination.

"Sigh, let's just go with this."

In the first round of ranked matches, by the end, the first position cannot keep many cards.

If he times it well,

he might not be unable to take them out.

Moreover, Border Li Ru combined with Divine Zhou Yu

can be considered an arsonist combination.

For the first wave, as long as Divine Zhou Yu throws a single Flame of Karma at one opponent,

if conditions allow, activate 【Zither Sound】 again,
