Chapter 708: This Shen Lü Meng Is Not Quite the Same?!

The Shen Lü Meng player looked utterly bewildered,

"Could I have seen it wrong? Was that actually a Heart 'Unbeatable'?"

But that couldn't be right,

His vision was perfectly fine!

Such a huge Spade,

How could he possibly have misread it?

He had even specifically checked his hand cards at the start; indeed, there were no Hearts!

But if there were no Hearts, and it truly was a Spade,

How could Gu Xuan have discarded his Spade card then?

Had all those games of Shen Lü Meng he played been in vain?

Shen Lü Meng can discard Spades?!!

The Shen Lü Meng player, at this moment, doubted life itself, doubting his understanding of the Shen Lü Meng general's skills.

…………

The Shen Lü Meng player could doubt whether he had misread the suit,

But the viewers in the live stream,

Saw it all perfectly clearly!

"Just now, that was clearly a Spade card, right?"

"Why can the big shot's Shen Lü Meng discard someone else's Spade card? I don't understand..."

"Is there a Shen Lü Meng expert here to explain? Were all the Shen Lü Mengs I saw before fake?"

"Impossible! Shen Lü Meng's 'Heart-Reading' skill can only discard Heart cards or place Heart cards on top of the deck!

I am absolutely certain of this; I just played a match against Shen Lü Meng yesterday!"

The viewers in the live stream were extremely confused,

But,

Gu Xuan didn't care about all that,

The skill 【Heart-Reading】 wasn't over yet!

He discarded the Spade card of the player in position two,

The suits in the position-two player's hand were thereby reduced,

So,

He could prevent that opponent from playing a card of one color this turn!

Gu Xuan had just seen that the Shen Lü Meng player held two 'Dodge' cards in hand,

He wanted to eliminate the Shen Lü Meng player in the first round,

Naturally, he had to choose to prevent him from playing red cards!

Gu Xuan drew a Diamond card from his hand area and played it,

"Slash!"

"Knowing what the enemy desires, then this battle is already entirely under control!"

Golden light shimmered,

Sweeping over the hand card area of the position-two Shen Lü Meng player,

The 【Heart-Reading】 skill activated! Sealing the position-two Shen Lü Meng player's red hand cards!

"You see I have two 'Dodge' cards, yet you still play a 'Slash' against me?"

The position-two Shen Lü Meng player hadn't yet recovered from Gu Xuan dismantling his Spade card,

Now he saw Gu Xuan playing a 'Slash' against him again,

He couldn't help but feel somewhat stunned,

Doesn't Shen Lü Meng's 【Heart-Reading】 skill allow him to see his hand cards?

Knowing clearly that there were two 'Dodge' cards in his hand,

Yet still playing a 'Slash' against him?

Is this landlord's brain

Not working properly?

The Shen Lü Meng player looked at Gu Xuan in confusion,

If Gu Xuan were playing some other general,

He might have thought that general possessed some special skill, like 'Forceful Strike' or something,

But, he is playing Shen Lü Meng!

Where does Shen Lü Meng get a 'Forceful Strike' skill from?

The position-two Shen Lü Meng player chuckled lightly,

"Looks like I'll have to collect beans this round."

The landlord has already handed the beans right into his hands,

If he doesn't take them, he'd be letting the landlord down.

Right then,

The Shen Lü Meng player withdrew his gaze from Gu Xuan and prepared to discard a 'Dodge' card to avoid the damage from this 'Slash',

The Shen Lü Meng player moved his will slightly,

"Dodge!" he said the word 'Dodge' softly,

He had originally thought the Flash card in his hand zone would automatically fly out,

but,

the hand zone showed not the slightest movement.

"Hmm??"

The Shen Lvmeng player frowned slightly,

somewhat puzzled,

he always played cards this way before,

why couldn't the Flash fly out today?
