Chapter 720

The players controlling Jie Ma Chao and Jie Guo Jia were also observing Gu Xuan and his teammates.

"Pu Yuan?"

The Jie Ma Chao player glanced at the general behind Gu Xuan.

This general,

he had never seen before.

However,

compared to Jie Lü Bu with five health points in position three,

Pu Yuan's four health points

were clearly easier to target.

He held wine and kill cards,

and as long as his luck wasn't terrible at the start, he could deal two damage to Pu Yuan.

As for whether Pu Yuan was a blood-sell general or had out-of-turn defense?

Come on,

are these things Ma Shen needs to worry about?

Once his skill is locked,

who can withstand Ma Shen's strike?

The game officially began,

just as the Jie Ma Chao player was about to draw a card,

he suddenly caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye—

behind position two, Gu Xuan,

a brilliant red light blazed forth.

"Heaven's Gift: Master Craftsmanship, Meticulous Forging!"

A streak of red light shot out from behind Gu Xuan,

illuminating the deck,

and immediately,

two golden cards flew out from the deck,

both entering Gu Xuan's equipment area.

They were the Ren Wang Shield and the Gu Ding Dao!

The Jie Ma Chao player in position one stared blankly at the two cards in Gu Xuan's equipment area.

"What's going on?"

"The game just started, and you just stole two equipment cards from the deck for free?"

He hadn't even drawn a card yet in position one!

You just slapped on two equipment cards like that,

is this reasonable?

The Jie Ma Chao player gave Gu Xuan a long, deep look.

He smelled the stench of hell!

This guy was definitely a hellish general!

Originally,

he had planned to target this guy right at the start,

but now,

the Jie Ma Chao player looked at the black kill card in his hand,

sighed,

Ma Shen could lock enemy skills,

but he couldn't ignore enemy armor.

Now that Gu Xuan had equipped the Ren Wang Shield,

he had no way to deal with him for now.

"Looks like I'll have to target Lü Bu first!"

Ma Shen had the Horseman skill,

even if there was Gu Xuan between him and Jie Lü Bu,

distance wouldn't hinder him.

The Jie Ma Chao player drew one card from the deck first.

"Wine!"

He used the wine card.

The young general behind him, mounted on a swift steed,

face flushed, his long spear gleaming with cold light,

"Thunder Kill!"

Golden lightning surged from the spearhead,

crackling,

lancing straight at Jie Lü Bu's phantom.

"Can you dodge this strike?"

"Neigh~"

Warhorses galloped as a golden card flew from the top of the deck,

flipping open before the assembled players,

revealing the skill judgment result for 【Iron Cavalry】!

【Heart Suit Dodge】!

The Border Lu Bu player glanced at his hand,

he held a Heart Suit card, but it was the only Dodge in his hand.

If he lost it,

he still couldn't evade Border Ma Chao's Slash.

So, he simply accepted these two points of damage,

"Click!"

A clap of thunder exploded,

and Border Lu Bu's two health points shattered.

Seeing this,

the Border Ma Chao player finally ended his turn.

Although he failed to cripple Gu Xuan as hoped,

knocking two health points off the Border Lu Bu player,

that was acceptable enough.

It was Gu Xuan's turn in slot two,

the draw phase,

two golden cards from the deck flew into his hand area,

he glanced at the cards in front of him,

then,

decided to activate the skill 【Forge Blade】,

to craft the Water Wave Sword!

This weapon,

when using a Slash or a standard Trick card, allows targeting one additional target,

Gu Xuan happened to hold a "Draw Two" card in his hand,

which could provide two extra cards to his teammate in slot three,

Gu Xuan looked at Border Lu Bu's hand,
