Chapter 969

Those should be two Equipment cards.

She wanted to draw cards by swapping Equipment.

But swapping Equipment inevitably means discarding one Equipment card.

The discarded Equipment card would then benefit Gu Xuan, strengthening his skill.

Yet not swapping Equipment was no option either; hand cards couldn't just rot in hand.

That would occupy one slot of the hand limit.

Which was even more disadvantageous for Jie Sun Shangxiang...

As for the Jie Sun Shangxiang player using a skill to equip an item and then equip another, that was indeed possible.

But no one could say Gu Xuan wouldn't draw "Demolish" this round...

As long as Gu Xuan dismantled the Equipment of the others in Jie,

the Equipment effects would become his.

The card deck would also lose one Equipment card because of this.

By the time the battle reached the later stages, the Jie Sun Shangxiang player wanting to equip items to activate skills

would likely be an impossible feat.

He let out a bitter laugh.

"SP Shen Ganning's skill suppresses Jie Sun Shangxiang terribly!"

Having spoken, the Jie Guo Jia player felt something was wrong again.

It wasn't just suppressing Jie Sun Shangxiang.

There was another unknown skill that suppressed him greatly as well!

Just now, when he had taken a bit of damage,

he was supposed to draw cards using 【Yi Ji】,

but for some reason,

the cards drawn from the deck

suddenly rushed headlong into Gu Xuan's hand area without looking back!

"Is it because of the 【Ying】 marker on the General card?"

Jie Guo Jia frowned and guessed.

Just now, the 【Ying】 marker had decreased slightly,

which also prevented him from drawing cards.

"Three Generals, two of them are suppressed by this stage's BOSS..."

The Jie Guo Jia player shook his head slightly.

It seemed a war of attrition in this round was impossible.

They had to end it quickly.

But...

Jie Guo Jia looked at himself, then at Jie Hua Tuo and Jie Sun Shangxiang.

One was sick, one was old, one was a woman.

Of the three Generals, none were capable of burst damage.

How could they quickly defeat SP Shen Ganning?

The Jie Guo Jia player's eyes showed unwillingness, yet he also thought,

the BOSS stage-clearing event had just begun.

And it was only the first stage, yet such a monstrous General had appeared.

Truly, he didn't know what kind of hellish start

the other stage-clearing players would face!

The Jie Guo Jia player was still thinking,

while at the same time, Gu Xuan in position one,

had already kept four hand cards

and ended his turn.

The game space's prompt for drawing cards shifted to the Jie Guo Jia player in position two.

If he didn't know Gu Xuan's skill,

the Jie Guo Jia player would have been happy that Gu Xuan ended his turn so quickly.

After all, that would mean the General Gu Xuan chose lacked strong offensive power.

But now, he had absolutely no such thought!

Just the one skill he already knew

was enough to make people break out in cold sweat.

How could he dare to underestimate the BOSS before him?

The Jie Guo Jia player's draw phase began.

Two golden cards flew out from the deck.

They hovered in the void, originally intending to fly into the Jie Guo Jia player's hand area.

But at this moment,

the Jie Guo Jia player suddenly heard, as if crows were calling?

"Caw caw caw~"

The player controlling Jie Guo Jia looked toward the source of the sound,

and discovered,

upon his General card,

another 【Camp】 marker,

had transformed into a crow with red eyes and black feathers.

The crow shot skyward, blocking the golden card's necessary path into Jie Guo Jia's hand zone.

Its black beak opened slightly, pecking twice at the void.

The card originally drawn by the Jie Guo Jia player

was now held in its beak!

Black wings flapped, like a bolt of black lightning,

and in the blink of an eye, carrying two golden cards, it dropped into Gu Xuan's outstretched palm.

"Raiding the camp with light cavalry, driving troops to drink from the great vessel!"

SP Divine Gan Ning sneered at Jie Guo Jia,

and pointed a finger.

The dark divine crow that had been in Gu Xuan's palm

instantly surged into his hand zone,

vanishing without a trace!

And Gu Xuan's hand, originally holding four cards, had now become six!

The Jie Guo Jia player stared at this scene, dumbfounded.

He had only heard of skills that could make other players skip their draw phase,

but this was the first time he had seen a skill capable of snatching cards drawn by other players!

If Gu Xuan had snatched cards drawn by his skill, that would be one thing,

but these were cards drawn during his own draw phase!

They could be snatched too?!

Divine Gan Ning's 【Raid Camp】 skill,

could only snatch leftover cards after another player's turn ended, couldn't it?

This SP Divine Gan Ning,

how could he be enhanced so monstrously?!!
