Chapter 159: The Shock of the Pursuit Team!

"Ring, ring, ring!"

Hearing the phone ring, Zhou Yun immediately took out his mobile phone and answered the call!

"Hello, Team Captain Zhou."

The next second, Liu Xuemin's voice came from the other end of the line.

"Liu Lao," Zhou Yun replied.

"Where are you all right now?" Liu Xuemin asked.

"We ran into a situation; we are currently on the highway to Zurich. Why, is there some situation on your end?"

"The situation has changed. We were all deceived by that kid. His target for this robbery is not the Swiss Bank, but the nearly one thousand tons of Nazi Gold in the bank's underground vault."

Hearing Liu Xuemin say this, Zhou Yun's expression changed instantly, and he blurted out, "Nazi Gold?"

"That's right," Liu Xuemin nodded and said.

"Why would Nazi Gold be in the Swiss Bank's vault?"

"It's a long story. During World War II, to expand their armaments and consolidate resources, the German army plundered a massive amount of gold from various European countries and the Jewish people. But they only used a portion of it; the whereabouts of the remaining gold have all been unknown. After the war ended, the destination of this gold has always been a mystery..."

When he said this, Zhou Yun took over the conversation: "You mean to say that this gold was all hidden in the Swiss Bank's underground vault? And Chu Chen found it?"

"Not only did that kid find it, but he also seems to know the inside story behind it..."

The amount of information was a bit overwhelming.

Zhou Yun couldn't digest it for a moment: "Inside story? What inside story?"

"The specific situation can't be explained in a sentence or two, but one thing is certain: he definitely knows something. Just a moment ago, he exposed a video regarding this secret. Once the video was released, it immediately caused a huge sensation on the internet. Even the special forces preparing to storm the bank ultimately chose to retreat."

"Has he already succeeded?" Zhou Yun asked.

"It's unclear, because we have no way to scout the situation inside the bank. However, I don't think this matter will end so easily; he will definitely have more astonishing moves later!"

The expression on Zhou Yun's face suddenly became complex.

At this moment, he finally understood what the "gold" those Frenchmen were talking about was all about.

So, all these people stuck in traffic were all there to rob the gold?

That's a bit absurd!

"What do you plan to do now?" Liu Xuemin asked.

Looking at the motionless long line in front of him, Zhou Yun couldn't come up with any ideas for a moment, shook his head, and said:

"We are currently blocked and can't even move. During this time, because of his actions, the entire traffic in Switzerland has been paralyzed. I estimate it won't be restored anytime soon."

"Haven't you made contact with the Swiss authorities?"

"They have been driven to distraction by Chu Chen and have no time to deal with us at all. The relevant officials are also unreachable."

"Sigh..." Liu Xuemin sighed softly and said, "The development of this matter to this point has indeed caught them off guard. I estimate they also didn't expect Chu Chen to discover this secret."

"Is the government completely unaware of this matter?"

Liu Xuemin thought for a moment and replied: "Hard to say, but looking at their reaction, it definitely has something to do with them. Before this, they were already prepared to abandon the hostages and carry out a forced assault, but after that video was released, they terminated the operation..."

"What? Abandon the hostages!?"

Hearing this, Zhou Yun's head felt like it was going to explode.

As a professional special forces operator, he knew better than anyone what this order meant!

In urban counter-terrorism operations, no matter when, the hostages are always the top priority.

Unless absolutely necessary, the government would definitely not take such extreme measures!

Because once this kind of thing is fermented by public opinion, the consequences would be unimaginable.

This time, it was very clear that the government was aiming to silence them!

Liu Xuemin's words instantly made Zhou Yun realize the severity of the situation, and his eyes were filled with shock!

At this moment, the other team captains in the car also looked at him in unison, their expressions very intriguing.

"Is what you said all true?" After a long while, Zhou Yun asked with a trembling voice.

"Yes."

"I... understand... Let's do this, I will contact you again after I arrive at the crime scene..."

After hanging up the phone with a dazed look, Zhou Yun was still immersed in the shock from just now and hadn't recovered at all.

Seeing his appearance, Chen Xiong next to him immediately asked:

"Team Captain Zhou, what's wrong? What is the situation with the hostages you were just talking about with Liu Lao? Did he move the hostages?"

Zhou Yun shook his head, didn't elaborate with him, and directly took out his phone to search for the video Liu Lao mentioned on YouTube.

Seeing this, the other team captains also crowded over.

The length of the video Chu Chen released was not very long.

Soon, they had finished watching the entire content.

After the progress bar ended, the usually taciturn Zu Guozheng suddenly spoke:

"The film he played in the video should be a classified document from the FIS..."

"FIS? Is that the Swiss intelligence agency?" Chen Xiong replied.

Zu Guozheng nodded: "That's right."

At this time, Zhou Yun suddenly asked: "How do you know?"

"The beginning of the film has their agency logo. When I was serving in the National Security Bureau, I had dealings with them. For a document of this level, let alone ordinary people, even their core members might not have the clearance to view it. How did he get his hands on this thing? It's truly incredible..."

Before participating in the program, Zu Guozheng was a member of the National Security Bureau and had dealt with many intelligence agencies around the world.

When he saw the circular logo at the beginning of the film, he recognized that this must be something leaked from the FIS!

Although the FIS's fame in the world is not high, it is also a top-tier intelligence agency.

To be able to get such a highly classified core document right under their noses, the possibility is almost zero!

Yet this guy actually managed to do it!

"FIS... if that's really the case, then everything makes sense..."

After Zu Guozheng finished speaking, Zhou Yun muttered.

"What makes sense?" Zu Guozheng asked again.

"The reason the authorities wanted to abandon the hostages and launch a full-scale assault was to keep this secret buried in Chu Chen's stomach, but they never expected that Chu Chen had already anticipated everything and kept an ace up his sleeve..."

Hearing this from Zhou Yun, the expressions of the other team leaders instantly became complex!

Chen Xiong said, dumbfounded: "Abandon the hostages? When did this happen?"

Zhou Yun glanced at him and muttered: "Just now..."
