Chapter 16: Arrival at Swallow Cave!

At this moment, the livestream went completely insane!

Wave after wave of comments swept across, like a sudden mudslide, instantly drowning out the livestream screen!

When Chu Chen first appeared on the program, no one expected that this young man would commit such earth-shattering "crimes" and use such an extreme method to escape!

His first impression on people was that of a pretty-boy contestant.

Many viewers even felt he wouldn't dare to commit a crime.

The few supporters he had were all just fans of his looks.

But as the livestream reached this point, those who had mistaken him for a pretty-boy contestant almost simultaneously changed their minds!

How could this still be considered a pretty-boy contestant!

This is simply a ruthless beast!

Hijacking a Parachuting operation!?

Good heavens, even foreign blockbusters wouldn't dare film it like this!

This idea is truly too wild and imaginative!

At this very moment, these viewers finally truly understood that remark from Liu Xuemin!

This guy is indeed a rare criminal genius!

Not only does he have the nerve, but he also has sufficient ability to act, and most importantly, his IQ is also very high!

If Chu Chen can land safely this time, those criminal investigation experts in the Expert Group have truly met their match!

Before, watching them deal with other contestants, there was absolutely no challenge; it was basically a one-sided crushing.

Beyond the shock, many viewers felt an extra sense of anticipation in their hearts!

However, anticipation is one thing!

Right now, what everyone cares about most is Chu Chen's next move and what exactly this so-called "Earth Awakening" is!

……

……

……

At the same time!

Inside the Command Room!

The five experts gathered once again!

At this moment, they were sitting around a round table.

The frozen image on the big screen in front of them was Chu Chen's mugshot!

Pointing at this photo, Liu Xuemin said to the other four experts with a serious expression: "Everyone, I can responsibly tell you that this person is definitely not an ordinary criminal. Just now, Lin and I checked the airport surveillance and discovered a very important clue."

"He first used a disguise to evade surveillance, and then used illegal means to board that Yun-20 military transport plane carrying 400 million Huaxia Yuan……"

Upon hearing this, the three experts who hadn't been present just now looked at each other, their expressions very complex.

It seemed that Liu Lao's statement had already made them realize the severity of the situation!

"Do you mean that our previous deduction was correct, and his target was those 400 million Huaxia Yuan?"

The next second, Chen Zijin was the first to ask impatiently.

Liu Xuemin glanced at him and nodded gently.

"This guy is truly too crazy……"

The tone of Chen Zijin's voice as he spoke was somewhat lingering, and even held a trace of excitement.

As a crime thriller novelist, he naturally felt a sense of affinity for this kind of unconventional crime.

Following that, Liu Xuemin continued:

"But that's not even the most exaggerated part. When the plane took off, he used the plane's landing gear to sneak into the cabin without any protection."

"What?!"

Liu Xuemin's words were like detonating a heavy bomb, instantly leaving the three of them standing there in a daze!

If they hadn't heard it with their own ears, they would never have believed that Chu Chen would perform such a shocking feat as climbing onto a plane with his bare hands!

Calming his mood, Chen Zijin said with extreme astonishment: "Teacher Liu, do you mean that he is still on that plane right now?"

"Just now, Lin and I calculated his current position based on the plane's speed. If nothing goes wrong, he should have already entered Mexico. However, that is not the point; the point is that he has likely already begun to carry out the crime!"

"But right now, based on the clues we have, we still don't know what kind of criminal method he will use to hijack those 400 million……"

Ever since learning that Chu Chen had snuck onto the Yun-20, Liu Xuemin had been thinking about this matter!

But until now, he still hadn't figured it out!

Because this matter had completely exceeded his imagination!

Right now, let alone Liu Xuemin, after hearing this, even the highly imaginative Chen Zijin was a bit lost!

As a crime thriller novelist who had written countless bizarre cases, Chen Zijin had written many wild and imaginative plots in his works!

But at this moment, even if he racked his brains, he couldn't think of what method Chu Chen would use to hijack the 400 million from the Yun-20!

The volume of these 400 million in cash is not small at all.

Even if you board the plane, escaping alive is by no means an easy task!

While Chen Zijin was secretly pondering, Liu Xuemin looked at Zhu Guowei and Wang Ruomei and said:

"Teacher Zhu, how are things going on your and Teacher Wang's side?"

Zhu Guowei took out a document and placed it on the table:

"Teacher Wang and I used our existing investigative authority to carefully check his social background and personal information, and we have made a detailed analysis and research report. It's all here."

"Chu Chen's background is very simple. He just turned nineteen this year and grew up in an orphanage. His IQ is very high. According to Director Chen Minghai of the orphanage, Chu Chen was well-liked during his years at the orphanage, his personality had no abnormalities, and he was cheerful, optimistic, and extremely adventurous. The only drawback was that he loved to be mischievous when he was a child; he belonged to the type of bad kid who studied very well."

"But for some reason, he didn't take this year's college entrance exam, but instead came directly to participate in our program. Regarding this point, I also asked Director Chen, but he didn't know either."

"Besides that, in order to obtain more information, we also used his DNA to perform a comparison in the national information collection database, but unfortunately, no match was found..."

After Zhu Guowei finished speaking, Liu Xuemin picked up the documents on the table and looked them over.

These documents were almost no different from the personal profiles of the contestants he had looked at before the competition; there were simply no clues worth noting.

"Hoo!"

Putting down the documents, Liu Xuemin let out a long sigh; he was completely at a loss.

At the same time, the entire investigation fell into a stalemate because of this!

At the same time!

On the other side of the ocean!

Mexico time: 4:00 PM!

Location: The primeval forest in the center of San Luis Potosi, above Swallow Cave!

Looking out into the distance, the vast primeval forest was boundless, as if it were a green ocean, with no end in sight.

Amidst this monotonous green, a bottomless sinkhole was extremely conspicuous!

It was like a giant eyeball, making one unable to help but marvel at the uncanny workmanship of nature!

The walls of the sinkhole were jagged and varied, mottled and intertwined, covered with all sorts of unknown tropical plants, revealing an indescribable primitive beauty!

At this moment, on the live broadcast screen, a line of Chinese and English subtitles was also very fittingly displayed:

"The mysterious sinkhole Swallow Cave in central Mexico!"
