Chapter 2: Announcing the Ozaki Eight at the Start?

A moment later, Zhang Yiwen held a card and waved it in front of the camera lens, acting mysterious as he said:

"Hmm, now, the theme for the first round of this 'Simulated Crime' is already in my hands..."

【Oh my, so nervous!】

【Yeah! Hurry up and announce it!】

【Friendly reminder: Please don't hold your breath, you can breathe!】

【Director Zhang, please stop keeping us in suspense!】

【Yeah, reveal it quickly! Can't wait!】

"The theme provided by the Program Team is indeed somewhat unpredictable, and the difficulty is not small; for the contestants, this is definitely a challenge..."

Just as Zhang Yiwen was speaking, a piece of BGM with an extremely tense rhythm suddenly rang out in the live broadcast room!

The next second, he adjusted his tone, slowly flipped the card over, and announced:

"This theme is—Robbery!"

【Holy crap, robbery?!】

【So exciting right from the start?】

【This theme is really 'criminal'!】

【This theme has high operational potential!】

【Good, good, good, I like this theme!】

In the live broadcast room, there was much discussion.

Following that, Zhang Yiwen continued to look at the card and said:

"Next, I will read out the rules for this round of the competition!"

"First, the time limit for this competition is 1 month. Within 1 month, all participating contestants can carry out simulated criminal activities related to robbery at any time and any place! No limit on the number of times!"

"Second, every contestant will have 1,000 in initial criminal funds. The initial criminal funds will be provided to the contestants by the Program Team in a lump sum before the start of the competition!"

"Third, the criminal amount is the only assessment standard for this competition. After the competition ends, all contestants who successfully advance to the next round will receive a cash prize equal to the criminal amount during the entire competition period! In other words, the more you rob, the more the prize money will be!"

"For example, if contestant A completes 2 criminal activities related to the theme within one month, and the robbery amount is 10,000, after the competition ends, he will receive a cash prize equal to the criminal amount provided by the Program Team. Of course, this is on the premise that he was not caught by the pursuers within one month!"

"Fourth, the preparation time for this competition is 3 hours. After 3 hours, all participating contestants must leave the preparation room!"

"Fifth, all participating contestants must carry out one criminal activity related to the theme within 48 hours of leaving the preparation room, otherwise they will be eliminated!"

"Sixth, before a contestant commits their first crime, no pursuers are allowed to pursue the participating contestants! Only after starting a crime will the pursuers obtain the right to pursue!"

"Please be sure to remember and abide by the above rules, all contestants and pursuers!"

"Alright, everyone, now, I announce that the first round of this 'Simulated Crime' officially begins!"

At the command of Chief Director Zhang Yiwen, the countdown in all the preparation rooms started instantly!

The No. 99 preparation room where Chu Chen was located was no exception!

Looking at the countdown on the big screen, Chu Chen immediately pulled his thoughts back to reality, preparing to plan his first criminal mission!

However, just at this moment, a clear electronic prompt sound interrupted his thoughts first!

【Ding!】

【A new mission has been issued, please check it in time, Host!】

Hearing the sound, Chu Chen was stunned for a moment, then reacted instantly, and immediately used his consciousness to summon the System Panel to check the new system mission!

【Mission Name】: The Beginning of Everything!

【Mission Time Limit】: 1 hour

【Mission Type】: Novice Mission

【Mission Content】: During the live broadcast, announce the Ozaki Eight criminal plan!

【Mission Reward】: Novice Gift Pack!

【Failure Penalty】: Unknown!

Announce the Ozaki Eight?

Seeing this mission, Chu Chen was stunned for a moment, but quickly came back to his senses!

He was no stranger to the Ozaki Eight!

You must know, this was one of the most talked-about settings in the famous extreme sports movie "Point Break" from his previous life!

In the movie, the Ozaki Eight were eight extreme challenges proposed by an extreme athlete named "Wei Qi Xiao Ye" that represented the highest level of extreme sports!

It is said that an extreme athlete who can complete all eight challenges can draw power from nature and thus complete the Nirvana of life!

Ordinary extreme athletes, even if they spend their whole lives, can only complete one of them!

Even Wei Qi Xiao Ye himself fell on the third challenge!

However, in order to awaken people's attention to nature, the protagonist group in the movie still used the Ozaki Eight to complete many incredible criminal activities!

Among them, the most classic one was jumping into the Swallow Cave after robbing a cash transport plane!

It was simply too cool!

This time, the system asked him to announce the Ozaki Eight, presumably to have him replicate the criminal plan of the protagonist group in the movie and use the Ozaki Eight to complete this criminal theme!

The Ozaki Eight, just thinking about it is exciting!

The level of crime and criminal methods in this world are very scarce. If he could really use the Ozaki Eight to stage a magnificent crime, he would definitely become a global hit and shock both at home and abroad!

Thinking of this, Chu Chen suppressed the excitement in his heart, casually grabbed a black marker from the table, slowly paced to a huge white whiteboard, and slowly wrote on it:

"Heavenly Birth, Earth Awakening, Wind Surge, Water Spirit..."

Watching Chu Chen's strange actions, the logistics staff in the preparation room were all stunned!

Especially the two people in charge, the beautiful lead host of CCTV, Han Ruobing, and the female special forces member of the Fire Phoenix Special Operations Brigade, Ye Siyu!

Ye Siyu asked suspiciously: "Sister Bingbing, what is he doing?"

Han Ruobing stood with her arms crossed, shaking her head in confusion, and said nothing.

It was evident that she was also extremely puzzled by Chu Chen's actions!

At this moment, some of the quick-acting contestants had already left the preparation room, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Even those who hadn't left were already starting to plot their first move on their writing tablets!

Some decided to rob a bag, while others decided to rob a convenience store.

But this guy hadn't made any moves at all; he was just writing some inexplicable words on his writing tablet?

What was he trying to do?

If it weren't for the rules, Han Ruobing would really like to interview this handsome and outstanding young man.

At this moment, besides her, many viewers in the live stream room had also noticed Chu Chen's strange behavior and began posting comments:

【What is this young man doing?】

【????】

【Heavenly Birth? Earth Awakening? Wind Surge? What on earth is all this? What does this have to do with robbery?】

【Is this guy here just to farm traffic? Doing this on purpose to attract attention, then starting to live-stream and sell products after getting eliminated?】

【I don't know, but to be fair, the young man is really handsome; his looks are truly top-tier!】

【Visually, he's just a contestant relying on his looks.】

【Who cares, as long as he's handsome, that's all that matters!】

【Exactly, exactly! I just like handsome guys!】

【I absolutely love this young man's looks!】

【This is Simulated Crime, what's the use of being handsome?】

【Waiting for him to be the first one eliminated!】
