Chapter 208: He is gambling his Life against nature!

Chen Zijin had already made his point very clear with this statement.

He meant that Chu Chen's next challenge was definitely related to this tsunami!

As his voice fell, the expressions of the other experts immediately became inscrutable!

After everyone exchanged glances, Wang Ruomei spoke up with a look of shock:

"So, you mean his next challenge is very likely related to this tsunami?"

Chen Zijin glanced at her, struggling with all his might to pull his thoughts away from the shock:

"That's right... This guy is truly insane. This is no longer in the realm of extreme sports; he is gambling his Life against nature..."

Once Chen Zijin finished this sentence, everyone present could not help but gasp in a cold breath!

For a moment, the atmosphere in the entire Command Room seemed on the verge of freezing!

Regarding this tsunami, the Expert Group actually did not know much.

Because according to the program rules, their channels for obtaining information were relatively restricted.

They were not allowed to use any electronic devices other than computers on a daily basis.

They could only obtain information from the outside world through what they retrieved while investigating cases.

Precisely because of this, they only knew that such a thing was happening, but they did not understand the specific situation.

If it hadn't been for Chen Zijin suggesting that Lin Xu launch an intrusion into the National Meteorological Bureau's monitoring network, they would have thought this was just a very ordinary tsunami; it wasn't until they saw the satellite cloud images that they realized, after the fact, how extraordinary this tsunami was!

According to the various meteorological data on the monitoring network, the scale and the area affected by this tsunami were extremely large!

It would not be an exaggeration to call it the largest tsunami of this century!

Under these circumstances, no matter what kind of challenge was undertaken, the margin for error would be infinitely close to zero.

Because the human body simply could not survive in this!

Right now, not only in the Command Room, but the entire live stream room had also been stirred into a massive uproar because of this statement from Chen Zijin!

Various bullet comments quickly swallowed the live stream screen!

【Holy crap, Brother Chen's next challenge is actually related to a tsunami? Is that for real or fake?!】

【My god, how is this possible!】

【This guy must be crazy!】

【As expected of the Eight Challenges that aim for the pinnacle of human limits, every single one is not simple!】

【If he can come back alive this time, I'll live-stream eating rocks!】

【To the person above, can you not scam food and drink in the live stream room?】

【Hahahaha!】

After a huge wave of bullet comments, the Command Room once again fell into a silent stillness.

Before long, Wang Ruomei asked:

"Then what do we do now? Should we find a way to stop him?"

The several experts were also in a difficult spot at this moment.

Because this was also the first time they had encountered such a thing.

It wasn't until a good while later that Liu Xuemin spoke up, deep in thought:

"If this matter is true, it is no longer something we can control. How to handle it specifically depends on the intentions of those above. How about this: you all find a way to determine his whereabouts, and I will go communicate with the Program Team to see what their attitude is toward this matter. It would be best if we could contact him through the Logistics Team, and then find a way to persuade him to turn back..."

It was evident that the thoughts of the Expert Group at this very moment were the same as the audience in the live stream room.

They also did not believe that Chu Chen could escape unscathed from this tsunami, just as they hadn't believed he could climb Mount Everest back then...

Time flew by, and soon it was three days later!

These past few days.

Upon learning that Chu Chen's next challenge was very likely related to the impending Atlantic Ocean tsunami, Liu Xuemin reported this news to the Program Team at the first opportunity.

At first, they had wanted to have the Logistics Team staff persuade Chu Chen to turn back.

But because he had closed the special contact channel, the Logistics Team was unable to reach him, and they had no choice but to give up.

Later, for the sake of safety, the Program Team still reported this matter to the relevant departments.

But for some reason, they had not received a reply even now.

In fact, the relevant departments had received the news long ago.

The Tiansha Special Operations Group had also already begun their operations.

But due to the influence of the weather, they were temporarily unable to determine Chu Chen's exact location and could only wait for him to appear before making further plans.

And right now, it was not just them.

All of Huaxia, and even the entire world, was waiting for Chu Chen to appear once again!

With the fermentation of the buzz and the approach of the tsunami, almost everything on the internet these past few days had been discussions about this matter!

Regarding Chu Chen's next challenge, nearly eighty percent of people felt that this was an absolutely impossible task to complete.

Because this tsunami was truly no small matter!

It was touted as the largest of the century!

Facing such a terrifying tsunami, the possibility of escaping unscathed was slim to none.

The consequences of pitting a mortal body against it were even more self-evident!

And as the discussions deepened, the popularity of the live stream room during the time Chu Chen had disappeared not only did not drop, but instead experienced the unprecedented spectacle of reverse growth!

Previously, as long as there were no shots of Chu Chen in the live stream room, the popularity would be affected to a certain degree.

But this time, it was an exception, forming a very sharp contrast with what came before!

As for the reason, it was also very simple.

The reason everyone had not left the livestream room was entirely because they held expectations for Chu Chen's next challenge, fearing that they might miss any brilliant moment due to their own negligence!

At this moment, the image inside the livestream room was playing the criminal process of other contestants.

Yet, among nearly one billion viewers, not a single person cast their gaze upon them; everyone was frantically discussing Chu Chen's next challenge in the bullet comments!

【Who knows where God Chu ran off to?】

【Great Summoning Technique activated! Come out, God Chu!】

【Someone online said his next challenge might be swimming in a tsunami; is it true or false, brothers!】

【Do you believe me, the Qin Shi Huang, or do you believe him?】

【Haha!】

【Swimming in a tsunami, you really managed to think of that; wouldn't that mean holding a funeral banquet on the spot!】

【Can't wait anymore, start quickly!】

Inside the livestream room, the viewers were discussing it heatedly!

The next second, just as everyone was expressing their various opinions, the livestream image instantly shifted away from that contestant and turned to a small island currently experiencing a rainstorm!

The gloomy sky.

The torrential rain.

Pattering down, baptizing everything on the small island.

Due to the tsunami warning, the island's residents had already evacuated half a month ago.

Looking around, the vast harbor was completely empty.

On the shore, various types of fishing boats, yachts, and naval vessels could be seen everywhere, swaying unsteadily with the waves.

In the distance, the terrifying Atlantic Ocean seemed to be brewing something!

The surging sea surface was like a pitch-black curtain constantly rising and falling, raging and fluttering within the sight of countless people!

Just at this moment, directly below the livestream, a line of highly conspicuous white subtitles in both Chinese and English slowly appeared:

【Atlantic Ocean · Bermuda Delta...】
