Chapter 118: Worrying the Personal Sorrow! Rectangular Stone Man! Shield Block!
"My bad, my bad," Mark took the initiative to shoulder the blame.
He carefully recalled the situation, feeling that there was no need to be so rushed; as long as he could ensure the opponent failed to deliver the tower, the directions Sylas could escape in were actually very limited.
Fortunately, the team atmosphere Mark was in at the moment was normal; no one would tell him that was "a bit funny" or "stop talking nonsense."
"It's no big deal, it was just a 1-for-1 trade!" The biggest victim, JackeyLove, took the initiative to speak up and comfort them, even making a joke at his own expense.
"But damn it, how is this guy so accurate with every single targeted skill? He's really going to see right through my underwear, isn't he!"
However, Tian was clearly not as optimistic.
Because Viego had enjoyed a good meal in the top half of the map during that exchange, and Sylas had also picked up another kill, the balance of the mid-jungle matchup was already nearing a state of imbalance.
More importantly, from a macro perspective, the EDG lineup was clearly better; once Draven managed to cash in during a resource team fight, the situation could very likely collapse in an instant.
Both mid laners' ultimate abilities entered cooldown.
Peacefully, they reached the 7-minute mark, the preparation period for the Rift Herald fight.
The bottom lane was just preparing to move out.
However, EDG discovered at this moment that the opposing bottom lane didn't seem to have any intention of going to assist.
"Are they trying to let Ziggs stay bot to push hard? If so, we can't easily leave either, otherwise we might lose the tower," Meiko speculated and analyzed.
"Our top-mid-jungle 3v3 should be winnable, right?"
Meiko's analysis was not without merit.
Ziggs's tower-demolition speed was unrivaled in the Rift; if they ignored the opponent and moved out forcefully, or only left one person in the bottom lane, they would very likely have their first tower forcibly pushed down.
The purpose of taking the Herald was to accelerate the tempo of the first tower; if they lost the first tower because of the Herald, it would clearly be a choice where the loss outweighed the gain.
And from TES's perspective.
Once a 5v5 team fight broke out, as long as Draven wasn't engaged on first, the probability of picking up a kill in the chaotic team fight was quite high, so naturally, it was safest to keep Draven from participating as much as possible; they still had a decent chance in a 3v3.
Ye Bo had initially thought the same.
But then he had a change of thought... since that was the case, should they try switching to attack the bottom lane?
Eight minutes wasn't a rule that they *had* to fight for the Herald; it was just because EDG usually preferred a fast-paced, aggressive playstyle, so they naturally had a higher reliance on the Herald.
But in reality, it was the same principle: the purpose of taking the Herald was to accelerate the first-tower tempo, but if they could accelerate it through other means, the result was the same.
So Ye Bo thought that perhaps they could consider feigning an attempt to take the Herald, while actually sneaking a swap to the bottom half to catch someone, and then having four people force-push the first tower.
And thinking of this, Ye Bo's eyes suddenly widened.
"If we can do this... will the opponent do it too?"
There was a very simple question.
In a team fight, which is easier: forcing a breakthrough through the crowd to kill Draven, or a four-man dive to force-kill Draven?
The answer was obvious.
"Hey, listen to me, brothers."
The humming of the Rift Herald was already surging underground.
Neither side's bottom lane had any intention of heading to the Rift.
Ziggs had a very fast wave-clear speed and long range, while Braum's shield could not only swallow Draven's axes but also block Renata's skills; it could be said to be a very pure defensive turtle combination.
Unless Draven had such an equipment advantage that he could kill Braum directly, there wasn't much he could do against those two.
And at this moment, under the god's-eye view.
Lee Sin and Vex had already arrived at the bottom lane river bush.
Although Jayce in the top lane didn't dare to get close to the Herald pit to avoid giving an opportunity, only using a long-range cannon to reveal vision, he had already seen the opponent start the Herald.
"Come! Wait for me to engage!"
There was actually a small problem with TES switching to attack the bottom lane this time—both the support and the jungler had no Flash.
If Lee Sin and Braum had Flash, their ability to force an engage on the opposing bottom duo would undoubtedly be much stronger.
This was the foreshadowing left behind from the previous attempt to catch Sylas.
And Vex's ultimate had a slow flight speed; if the opponent was slightly prepared, they might be able to dodge it with Flash.
So what TES chose was to wait for Ziggs to push the wave in, while the mid and jungle duo stayed hidden to continue the deception, allowing Lee Sin and Braum to enter the tower and attempt a close-range initiation.
"They... should be here!" Viper looked at Ziggs's move to force-push the wave, but his tone was not worried.
Because EDG only had the mid and jungle in the Herald pit fighting the Rift Herald!
Sejuani was crouching right behind them!
Ye Bo had heard that TES had no shotcaller, and usually, it was just the jungler and the AD carry talking.
Of course, this didn't mean they were just mindlessly reckless; rather, like the previous Lee Sin play, they relied more on combat instinct to make arrangements.
So their thoughts were indeed not hard to guess.
However, Ye Bo naturally couldn't be 100% sure, so he ultimately decided that he would accompany the jungler to start the Herald, and let the top laner head straight to the bottom lane after spawning.
For one thing, if the opponent really wanted to four-man dive, having a Sejuani there was enough to protect them.
If Viego were left to take the Herald alone, it would be easy for Jayce to harass him, and there was even a risk he wouldn't be able to take it down.
For another, if the opponent didn't think that way and the top, mid, and jungle still wanted to fight for the Herald.
Then the Sejuani who went to the bottom lane could use her powerful engage ability to attempt a gank!
If you don't swap, I will!
Braum had no Flash; Sejuani's long-range Q-R had every chance to forcibly lock him down for a kill, helping Draven cash in!
And if Sylas went to the bottom lane to crouch himself, it was clear that his long-range lockdown ability was much weaker.
Draven had accumulated eight minutes of passive stacks; once he could fully cash them in, trading them directly for the Rift Herald was definitely a profit, not to mention that they could also take advantage of the bottom lane to push and take plates.
The bottom lane wave was pushed in by Ziggs.
Lee Sin and Vex also walked out from behind.
"They're really here!"
"Flandre, get out directly! Don't give them a chance to force a kill trade!"
Ye Bo's face showed joy, and at the same time, he quickly commanded the Sejuani crouching in the back.
There was no need to be greedy for the opponent's dive.
Because Vex's burst damage was very high; once they were engaged on, the opponent might force a trade for Draven to burn his stacks, and even a 1-for-1 wouldn't be profitable.
And as long as the opponent couldn't make a move—they would have essentially gotten the Herald for free!
"Damn! Why is the pig here!"
Seeing Sejuani walk out from behind, the expressions of everyone on TES changed drastically!
Clearly, their little scheme had been seen through.
At this moment, Sejuani had her ultimate ready, and the bottom duo also had both summoner spells; it was clear that trying to force a move now would be no different from throwing the game.
"Rotate to the dragon, rotate to the dragon, Huang, get ready to TP!" Tian made a prompt decision to stop the losses.
Since there was no chance to dive, they could only use the dragon to trade for the Herald.
Although the first dragon and the first Herald clearly had the Herald being much more useful, it could at least make up for the loss.
However, at this moment, TES exposed another problem.
Their lineup was very slow at taking the dragon!
The double-carry of Vex and Ziggs were both good at fighting, but their ability to take jungle monsters was equally weak!
The wail of the Rift Herald had already arrived.
"EDG has already taken the Herald! This was completely free!"
"Sylas picked up the Eye of the Herald, and the mid-jungle duo is rushing toward the dragon pit!"
"The three below are eyeing them covetously, and the TES lineup is very slow at taking the dragon; Jayce has also used TP to the bottom lane first tower!"
"At eight minutes, it seems there's still going to be a team fight, only it's not because of the Herald, but has turned into a contest for the dragon!"
As soon as Tian saw the two people who had appeared from the mid lane after the Rift Herald died, he immediately had the top laner Jayce use his TP.
Clearly, the opponent didn't want to let this dragon go.
But TES, having already been outplayed and having given up the Herald for nothing, couldn't possibly accept giving up a dragon as well!
"Take the dragon first, take the dragon first!" Tian frantically pinged signals.
Viego wasn't there, and there was no risk of Lee Sin getting his dragon stolen, so they decided to kill the dragon first.
"Don't rush, don't rush! If it doesn't work, just give them the dragon!" Ye Bo also quickly reminded them.
The reason why the dragon's priority was lowered in this version was that tankiness had been greatly increased, and TES's dragon-taking speed was truly very slow.
By the time Sylas and Viego had approached the battlefield, the dragon still had nearly a thousand health left.
Of course, part of the reason was that Jayce's TP from TES wasn't decisive enough.
Their choice was to use TP only after seeing the opposing mid and jungle appear in the mid lane, so he couldn't provide much help in taking the dragon.
"Flandre, open the dragon pit!"
Ye Bo used his E-R slide to steal Vex's ultimate from a distance.
Hearing the command, Sejuani on the pit wall threw out her ice chain!
Lee Sin, who was fighting the dragon, instantly turned into an ice sculpture.
But because Braum wasn't far from Lee Sin, Sejuani didn't dare throw a long-range ultimate to avoid it being eaten, so this was just a short-range point-blank R, and the stun duration was very short.
However, this was enough for Sylas to aim at the dragon pit and land 【His Path - Personal Sorrow】!
Sylas started with R-E-R, used the first dash, then cast the second part of R, Personal Sorrow, and the moment he landed, he followed up with E2 to pull him in and knock him up!
Although Sylas didn't have Vex's landing fear.
He did have a "Landing Knock-up"!
A full rotation of abilities lands on the Blind Monk, melting his health bar at a rapid pace!
Xiaotian has no Flash; being sat on by Sylas this time, he doesn't even think about running, his eyes fixed only on the little dragon.
Seeing the health reach the threshold, Q-Smite-Q secures the Fire Dragon kill steadily.
Afterward, Xiaotian does not sit and wait for death; seizing the final window of survival, he wards to the side for a short-distance dash, kicking Sylas back behind his own team!
"What a fast Insec kick from Xiaotian!"
"Ignite burns the Blind Monk to death, but Jayce's full Q-E-R-Q-W-E combo slams into Sylas, forcing Sylas to immediately Flash to the side to escape!"
Actually, if Vex had flashed and used W for crowd control at this moment, a full rotation of abilities could have coordinated to kill Sylas instantly.
But that would only have been a 1-for-1 trade.
Sylas's abilities were already fully spent; the impact of his death on the state of the game would have been almost negligible.
Knight made his own judgment.
Ignoring the heat of the frontal battlefield, Vex suddenly flings her ultimate toward the wall behind the lower side of the dragon pit!
Using the cover of the entire thick wall on the side of the dragon pit.
The trajectory of Shadow Surge is mostly obscured!
Although EDG has a Control Ward in the tri-bush, the positioning of the Ziggs on the lower side already spotted the bot lane duo itching to join the battlefield, providing the positional information for Vex's surprise attack.
"Watch out for Vex!" By the time Meiko reacts, he has already been hit by the ultimate flying through the wall.
Knight shouts excitedly: "Water, look at me!"
As the person on the team who understands "sign language" best, JackeyLove immediately understands the other's meaning.
Vex flies in to kill, landing and using W to fear the two in the bot lane!
Ziggs immediately Flashes to pursue, using E-Q-W to finish the damage.
Draven uses Cleanse to instantly remove the fear, hurriedly activating Blood Rush to pull away.
But Vex's full rotation of abilities, combined with Ziggs, instantly kills Renata from full health, then refreshes the ultimate to throw it horizontally at Draven.
Forcing out Draven's Flash again!
"Ye's Sylas and Sejuani coordinate perfectly to kill the Blind Monk first! Viego takes the kill, but Sylas is also kicked into the crowd by the dying Blind Monk, losing his health!" Guan Zeyuan sprays words like a machine gun.
"Knight's Vex doesn't pursue the low-health targets, suddenly turning to ambush the bot lane duo! Successfully killing the support and burning the AD's summoner spells!"
"In that case, how did the situation suddenly reverse? They seem to be able to counter-attack and pursue!"
It is still a 1-for-1 trade.
But Vex's choice made the state of the game change in an instant.
Sylas killed the Blind Monk first, not expecting Xiaotian to be able to pull off that extreme-angle kick before dying.
And if Sylas had used his remaining body to bait out Vex's abilities at that time, the subsequent fight would clearly have been a pursuit for EDG!
Because Vex's full rotation of abilities has a full 16-second cooldown; once used, there is no follow-up.
But seeing that Sylas had no health left and could not participate, Knight decisively chose to break the bot lane duo—causing the original 4-vs-4 to suddenly become a 3-vs-4!
This shows something.
Why TES, despite having many problems in command, discipline, and tactical loopholes, can still be a team that makes it to the finals.
The reason this team is called the "Galaxy Battleship."
Is because of the "theoretical ceiling" that exists in the individual skill board of Xiaotian + the Water-Knight duo.
It's a bit like this year's high-spec BLG—the difference is that Scout's form this year is clearly not as good as Knight's, and the aging Uzi's form has also declined significantly, while these three on TES are still in their prime.
"The four members of TES are pursuing directly to the bot lane tier-one tower; they want to protect Ziggs to force a plating push!"
"Although the remaining three members of EDG are still at full health, Sylas's health is too low to enter the fight again; they might really have no way to deal with the opponent this time!"
Arriving in front of the tower, the dual-poke system begins to show its power.
Outside the tower, Jayce fires a cannon, Ziggs throws a bomb, and the three inside the tower can only take the beating.
Of course, TES is really just eating two more platings; it's impossible to dive three under the tower.
If both sides were willing, this could be considered the end; EDG had already secured the Rift Herald before joining the fight, so a 1-for-1 trade is still very profitable, and two platings are obviously of no great consequence.
But Ye Bo examines the situation.
Thinking rapidly in his mind.
He vaguely feels... is there perhaps a way to break the game that he hasn't discovered yet?
Suddenly, Ye Bo notices something.
The four members of TES are covering Ziggs as he hits the tower.
And just at this moment, 【Shadow Surge】 is fired again from the wall above!
{Shadow Surge can be used again within 12 seconds after participating in a kill}
"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid! He doesn't have the health to come, he's just scaring you!" The fallen Xiaotian acts as the fountain commander.
"Back off, back off first!" Mark suggests playing it safe.
"I still have Flash! 13 seconds!" Knight marks his passive fear and W cooldown.
"Dahuang, Knight still has Flash! Draven has no summoner spells, we can find an opportunity to kill him!" JackeyLove acts as a human translator.
The mark from Vex's ultimate can only last for 4 seconds.
Within 4 seconds, if the second-stage flight is not used, the mark will disappear.
The four members of TES are very steady, first stopping to walk out of the tower; seeing that the 4 seconds have passed and the mark on Vex has disappeared, they immediately turn back to enter the tower again with the second wave of minions.
For Ziggs, the defensive tower actually only has three bars of health.
Being able to take down one more plating increases their chance of forcibly destroying the tier-one tower in the next wave, with a chance to catch up to or even surpass the gap from the Rift Herald.
"How come it feels like we can finish it..." Xiaotian looks at the speed of the push, which is unexpectedly fast.
The main reason is that the three opponents don't seem to have a strong desire to defend.
Perhaps they are worried about Draven getting engaged on?
"Then let's eat it!" JackeyLove slams the table loudly.
But, what they don't know is.
At this very moment, the audience in the entire competition venue is erupting in waves of gasps!
As if they have seen something incredible.
"Mejai's Soulstealer! He bought a Mejai's Soulstealer!"
"Wait, what is this!!!"
"Fly! Fly! Fly, he's flying over!"
Just when the TES members on the field are still completely unaware of everything happening in the darkness.
Sylas has already returned to the fountain via the 4-second {Super Recall} effect of the "Rift Herald's Eye."
And the moment he returns to the fountain, Sylas's equipment slot changes remarkably; the 4-stack {Dark Seal} becomes a 4-stack {Mejai's Soulstealer}.
The next moment.
The second stage of 【Shadow Surge】 is unleashed—Sylas actually transforms from the fountain into a galloping ghost-mist shadow, "flying" outward with terrifying movement and speed!
The direction is exactly the bot lane.
Both the Shadow Surge mark and the Super Recall last for 4 seconds.
But as long as Shadow Surge isn't cast at point-blank range, the flight distance creates a brief vacuum period between the two.
And the time from flying from the fountain to the bot lane is exactly 5 seconds.
Furthermore, there is no omen or wind-up for whether the second stage of Shadow Surge is used, and the mark before and after will not change at all.
So the enemy, naturally, has no way of knowing.
The three EDG members look at the avatar flying across the mini-map, not expecting that what Ye Bo meant by "we can fight" was this...
"Go, go, go, go, go, go!"
The three are stunned for a moment, then immediately charge forward decisively!
Sejuani leads the way with Q-Flash-W, Viego follows with Flash-W to target Vex, and Draven charges forward with axes in hand using Blood Rush!
The TES members think the opponent has gone crazy.
With just these three, where would the burst damage come from to kill Vex?
"They're desperate! They're coming to feed."
"HOLY!!! SH*T!!!"
"What is this thing!"
The next moment, Sylas, wrapped in black shadow, has already killed his way back into the battlefield.
His health bar recovered nearly 300 points in the fountain.
And Sylas's full rotation of abilities takes about 10 seconds; the flight time has just happened to refresh a second full rotation of abilities for Sylas.
And most importantly—completely unknown, impossible to defend against!
As Poppy is controlled, she runs face-first into Sylas, who finishes off the damage instantly with three lashes!
Shadow Surge kill, refreshed again.
Life and death in an instant.
Next, it is a game of pursuit.
"Vex falls first, Viego transforms and possesses, then uses fear to hold the three!"
"Except for Jayce, no one else has Flash, Sylas's ultimate is refreshed again! Viego's ultimate can also be refreshed, Draven kills Braum with one hit!"
"Jayce flashes to retreat but is still hit by the refreshed ultimate and pursued! He has nowhere to run! Sylas's Mejai's has hit 18 stacks in one wave!"
"It's over... TES seems to be completely finished this wave! Sudden death!"
Sylas waited unhurriedly for the final second of time to pass, waiting for his skill cooldowns to refresh before flying out to strike down the last remaining fish that slipped through the net, Jayce.
He had left the base with only 4 stacks on his Mejai's Soulstealer, but after 3 kills and 1 assist, it soared to 18 stacks in one go!
It could be called a transition from "Radio Calisthenics" to "Sunflower Manual"!
The chat exploded in an instant.
【Holy crap! A genius!】
【Oh my god, Flying Thunder God! Vex and Sylas's Flying Thunder God!】
【Damn, I've truly never seen this move before. This is Dr. Ye for you; he can turn any hero into a research project! And this one actually looks useful.】
【A combo that deals over a hundred million damage! WeChat step count just hit a hundred thousand in an instant!】
【Wait a second, Vex's R is called "Personal Space," and the operation sequence is R+B, so is this move called "Personal Space B"?】
【Wrong! When Vex uses it herself, it's called Personal Space B, but Sylas is the Unshackled, so when Sylas uses it on others, it must be called: Helping you "Unshackle, Personal Space B"!】
"Holy crap! Damn, Ye Bo, you really are a genius!" Even SwordArt couldn't help but curse while savoring the moment.
"Eighteen-stack Mejai's! Master Ye, you're invincible this wave!" Jiejie exclaimed repeatedly with exaggeration.
"Well played, Master Ye!" Meiko looked at the items Viper updated after recalling, his smile widening: "Viper is invincible this wave too!"
The EDG team voice chat was filled with a jubilant scene.
"Invincible!" Ye Bo was also beaming with joy.
He was clearly influenced by the lively atmosphere of the venue, as if he could feel the scorching gazes from outside the screen, and even his voice grew louder unconsciously.
Under the camera lens, his smile was brilliant and his spirit was soaring.
From the start of the game until now, Ye Bo had seen through and shattered TES's tactical objectives several times.
The opponent's sporadic counterattacks were all handled and suppressed by him, then converted into even more intense offensives, all of which landed solidly on TES in the end!
Ye Bo's current state was red-hot, with a trend of becoming braver with every fight!
The stands were bustling with noise.
Ye Bo's parents didn't know the true value of their son's maneuvers, but seeing the cheers erupting from the surrounding audience, they couldn't help but applaud and cheer along.
And without a doubt, anyone with a discerning eye could see it.
Just after this wave finished, the TES base had already started smoking.
A 1-for-5 trade, with 18 stacks on Mejai's, already possessed high-value, overpowered economic worth, not to mention the four direct kills added to the tally.
If the 1500-gold Mejai's counted as a completed item, then in less than nine minutes, Sylas already had an exaggerated and absurd two completed items on him!
Not only that, Draven had just collected 300+500 in bounty gold from a single kill, plus the full plating of the first tower.
In just one wave, a direct economic gap of over 3000 was created!
More importantly, the bottom lane was forced into a lane-swap phase, and Sylas was subsequently liberated.
TES was already inferior to EDG in side-lane operational ability.
Thanks to the poor discipline of their players, under such a disadvantage, loopholes and flaws began to appear frequently.
The TES members initially wanted to comfort themselves, thinking their lineup cleared waves quickly, so they could barely hang on.
Besides, "Personal Space Flying Thunder God" required a super recall and needed a Rift Herald or Baron, so it wasn't actually that strong when used normally; it was just normal strength.
As for other ultimates, the strongest one for Sylas seemed to be Ziggs's.
Unfortunately, they were wrong.
In fact, when Ye Bo was practicing Sylas, he had conducted one simulation after another, trying to find the most powerful ultimates.
And there was one ultimate in this game that looked average, but its actual strength ceiling ranked at least in the top ten!
【Glacial Fissure】!
But Ye Bo preferred to call it "Rectangular Malphite."
Braum's ultimate not only had decent AP scaling and damage, but its center radius was also almost the same as Malphite's.
It could even act as a {knock-up} across a long, wide straight line of up to 1250 yards!
Malphite's ultimate knock-up effect was 1. seconds, while Braum's ultimate ranged from 0. seconds to a maximum of 2 seconds depending on the target's distance from the glacial fissure!
Of course, if used normally by Braum, this ultimate was hard to land perfectly and couldn't be considered too strong—because it had an incredibly obvious, uncancelable, and immobile casting wind-up.
But, if used by Sylas.
Not only could E2 replace the displacement, but he could also cast it at the same time E2 was launched, performing the shield-raising and slamming wind-up animation while flying through the air!
As long as E hit, it was a guaranteed hit at point-blank range—while simultaneously enjoying the long-range knock-up area!
Delivering the shocking effect of a "Face-Slamming Iceberg"!
【I, Sylas, only do three things when I come to Summoner's Rift: Use their own ways! Use their own ways! And goddamn it, use their own ways!】
【Can you E the Scuttle Crab and R too? Even burning Flash won't let you escape!】
【You might not believe it, but I was walking along just fine when I got smashed by a flying iceberg.】
【No, why does Mark's Braum look so clumsy when he uses it, but Master Ye makes it feel so fast?】
【Friendly reminder: It seems someone has gone invisible~】
At 16 minutes, the economic gap between the two sides had been stretched to 7k.
EDG took the second Rift Herald in stride.
Sylas picked up the Eye of the Herald once again.
"TES has managed to hold onto their tier-two tower during this time... Oh, are they coming again!"
"But the opponents should be prepared for this wave!"
Hearing the howl of the Rift Herald, the TES members already felt their hearts tighten.
And immediately after, as the army pressed in, Sylas stepped up to steal Poppy's ultimate.
The implication was incredibly obvious.
"Focus fire together! He doesn't have Fear when he lands, we can burst him!"
"Coming!"
Sylas did exactly as before, throwing out his ultimate, which grazed the edge of the support Braum and hit Ziggs's big head.
He pressed super recall to fly in again.
And just as he was about to arrive, the giant ghost in the air suddenly turned into solid gold, and shot out a patch of deep blue and snow-white from beneath him!
{During Personal Space, you can use Recall, Summoner spells, and item active effects}
R+B + Zhonya's Hourglass + Everfrost!
At close range, Sylas used Everfrost then Zhonya's; the short wind-up of Everfrost was carried forward by the displacement, and he turned into a little golden statue just half a step before entering Vex's attack range.
The group of people who gathered to focus fire on Sylas—were instead caught right in the middle of his initiation!
And the eerie shadow of Personal Space with its giant outstretched arms looked full of mockery and oppression.
"Initiating with his own body! This double-poke lineup of TES is most afraid of such forced initiation!"
"Although they banned Gragas, who would have thought his Sylas could have such an effect!"
"The mid-lane high ground is broken; it seems TES has nothing left to say in this game."
Even the usually conservative commentary desk had already passed a death sentence on this match.
Except for the ADC occasionally giving some small opportunities, the entire TES team began to turtle up.
At 20 minutes, EDG gathered at Baron.
Perhaps TES had a soft spot for Baron, or perhaps they felt that if they gave up Baron, the {magic immunity damage reduction} the Dragon buff gave to minions would make their last reliance on long-range wave clearing ineffective, so they decided to come and fight for it.
Sylas stole Braum's ultimate again.
But this time, Mark had gotten smart; he held onto his E skill and didn't use it, no longer protecting his teammates, just thinking about staring down and defending against Sylas, wanting to use his anti-theft door to block his glacier.
However, this was clearly thinking too simply.
Braum's E shield could indeed block his ultimate, but it had two flaws.
One was that the range was narrow, only a bit wider than the hero model, and it could only block skills from one direction.
Two was that after raising the shield, he could no longer change or rotate the "direction" of the shield.
Ye Bo had already figured out the mechanics of Braum's E skill.
Ye Bo was also having a bit too much fun; relying on having all his skills up, he shouted that he was going to bait out the shield—Sejuani's R and Renata's R would both be blocked by Braum's E shield, which was why it was difficult for Braum to be singled out and guarded against Sylas earlier.
TES lined up in place, still wanting to poke and harass from afar.
But they only saw Sylas charge in with E!
Braum immediately raised his shield in a panic.
But the next moment, Sylas kicked out with E to change his position, while his body simultaneously flashed sideways onto the bank, and while slamming down the glacier in mid-air, his body changed direction again in mid-air.
Mid-air R-Flash!
Glacier, chains, Sylas.
They seemed to form a triangle.
The bone-chilling glacial fissure on the ground just like that, grazing the side of the shield, pierced straight in!
An iceberg that the shield couldn't block!
"Your shield cannot save your teammates."
Behind him, Sejuani easily threw her chains to follow up, Viego and Draven coordinated their entry to finish the cleanup, and Renata's ultimate extended out as a desperate protection.
TES was wiped out at the jungle entrance, EDG pushed forward in force, and destroyed the opponent's base in one go!
