Chapter 1262: Ribbon Nebula, The Essence of Prophecy

The Astral Plane.

Perhaps Kelifu's prophecy really was at work; the three of them, Xia Duo, Kelifu, and Suo En, had been flying through the boundless void of the Astral Plane for four or five days without encountering any strange phenomena.

Looking out, apart from the Astral Wind stirred up by the movement of the three, there was no other scenery in the boundless void.

Of course, if one had to say, the Astral Plane itself, as a spiritual world, possessed nearly infinite depth in every piece of its void.

The concept of time in the Astral Plane is faint, and much time passed without them noticing.

After experiencing their fourth rest and flying for nearly a month in total, Xia Duo finally saw the destination of this trip, the outline of the Dream Ruins—

It was a massive, ribbon-like nebula shimmering with various colors, presenting a slight sense of Flow under the blowing of the Astral Wind, which appeared particularly distinct against the silver background of the Astral Plane's boundless void.

This immediately reminded Xia Duo of some pictures of cosmic nebulae he had seen on Earth; since traveling to this world, this was the first time he had seen such a magnificent and beautiful natural scene.

As the three gradually approached, the ribbon-like nebula did not become larger, but instead kept shrinking; at the same time, the various colors it emitted were gradually becoming dim.

It was not until the three approached a certain limit that it stopped changing, ultimately presenting itself as merely a glowing band several thousand meters long, composed of individual faint points of light.

Moreover, once close, Xia Duo could also discover that those points of light would sometimes suddenly extinguish, and sometimes suddenly increase, much like stars blinking, which was quite interesting.

To an Eternal Holy Spirit, Projection Planes were real planes; he knew very well that every disappeared Projection Plane contained countless intelligent lives and countless moving stories.

Watching a moderate Astral Wind suddenly blow up around Suo En, Xia Duo felt an indescribable, complex emotion within it.

Although he did not know what Suo En was lamenting, this emotion made him feel touched in spite of himself. At this moment, he thought of his relatives far away in his hometown, and his mood suddenly became heavy.

Consequently, the surrounding void seemed to become turbulent as well, as if a powerful spiritual storm could blow up at any moment.

"This is the Dream Ruins, Lord Xia Duo. I will have to rely on you from here on!"

Kelifu's sudden opening broke this strange atmosphere. Xia Duo quickly collected his emotions and nodded. He looked at the flickering points of light not far away and asked:

Xia Duo had been to Projection Planes several times, but those were through the Plane Exploration Array of the Mage Tower; entering directly while in the Astral Plane was a first.

This was also some experience he had gained from perceiving the Astral Plane and searching for Projection Planes at the Tower of Time. As for whether it would work, he had to see what Kelifu said first.

"Entering a Projection Plane is very simple. You only need to touch those points of light with any part of your current body, and you will automatically enter it."

Kelifu first explained the method of entry, then mentioned the key point that had not been mentioned throughout the journey: "Next, I will transfer the prophecy to you. You only need to follow the guidance of the prophecy and choose a Projection Plane to enter."

Unlike the will of the Lord of Radiance summoned by a Priest when signing a Sacred Contract or at other necessary moments, which carried almost no extra information, the will contained in this Sun Emblem on the back of his hand came with a very vast amount of information.

This information was so vast and complex that Xia Duo could not describe it, and when he wanted to interpret it step by step, this information seemed to possess a certain quantum state; as soon as he interpreted it, the whole of the information changed.

Clearly, something like a prophecy or an Oracle could not be interpreted bit by bit; it could only be interpreted all at once in a packaged way.

Just as Xia Duo was wondering how to obtain the guidance of the prophecy and Oracle, Kelifu spoke again:

"Do not go to the trouble of interpreting it bit by bit. My Lord's power is vast and boundless; how could a mortal possibly understand it all? Use your heart to perceive it, and you will receive revelation."

Hearing this, Xia Duo did not intend to be unconventional and just perceived it as Kelifu said.

It was strange to say, but this prophecy and Oracle could not be interpreted locally bit by bit, yet it could be perceived from a more macroscopic perspective.

Of course, this could also be considered a unique way of interpretation.

Under his Perception, Xia Duo gradually gave birth to a flash of inspiration, which made him feel very novel. After tracing his memory, he confirmed that this was not born from his own Subconscious, but came from the prophecy and Oracle.
